He did the Mash - The Monster Mash

Sapphire was bored one day after class even though things had been interesting so she went out the garden. There was a strange patch of plants out here but other than that Sapphire was completely relaxed in the garden. It wasn't until she found something that looked like a curios kind of toy that her day took a more interesting turn. Sapphire sat down on a bench and set the toy beside her. It looked like something out of Frankenstein's monster from the way it was sown together. Sapphire picked it up again and observed it. There was a very differently colored patch on the small of the back of the toy. Curiosity taking Sapphire again she ran her finger over it then dropped it when creature started to move. The creature dusted itself off then started to dance. A small tinker toy beat started to come out of him which Sapphire recognized as the Monster Mash. Sapphire giggled as she watched the small toy dance in such a silly way.

Lyra had been struggling, bringing her huge Totoro doll to the garden. It was so big and fluffy and pretty dirty since she had been dragging it along the corridor and those who didn't know that the corridor wasn't 100% clean should be an autism. The blue haired girl finally reach the garden, as she threw her Totoro doll and jumped on the doll and lay on top of it. Lyra was pretty petite and she was short so she fit on the doll. But most students on her age wont be able to be on top of the doll since they were tall already. Lyra glanced to her left finding a girl with an odd toy. "Your toy is wierd" She said wondering if the girl hear what she said. She stood up and walk toward her and bent down looking to the toy. "It's wierd" She whispered as she concentrate on the dancing toy.

Sapphire looked at the huge doll and tilted her head. She blinked once then saw the blue haired girl plop on it. Her day was getting curioser and curioser. She watched her nearly bounce off the huge thing then come to her and tell her that the patchwork doll was weird. Sapphire nodded. Sapphire didn't feel like using a parchment and quill so Sapphire took out her wand as started to scribble with the light at the end of it. Agreed appered in huge sparkaling letters. It faded into what looked like pixie dust before Sapphire started to write in the air again. That thing you have with you is pretty weird too. I like it. She said with a large smile on her face. Now the girl was going to wonder why Sapphire didn't talk. Before she did Sapphire took off her scarf to show the girl the giant scar. This is why her eyes seemed to say but they remained friendly.

Lyra looked back to the Hufflepuff who said that Totoro was wierd. "Oh this? Totoro chan!" She smiled as she jumped on the huge doll and lie herself on it as she hugged it and laughed. She then stared at the girl, why wouldn't she talk? Before she asked the question the girl showed her a giant scar. "I don't think there's a relation between voice and scar" She said innocently as she opened her eyes widely and sat on her doll. "Anyway, I'm Lyra!" She jumped and landed right in front of the Hufflepuff.

Though Sapphire was small for her age, Lyra was even more so. Her story was that a dog had made the scar on her neck and that the dog had taken out her voice box. What really happened would kill her but then there where a fair few things at home that could do that. Sapphire waived her wand again and put in the air I am Sapphire in large and blue letters. She fgelt like being artistic today and didn't know if she was going to be any good at the "Monster Mash" like the little patch work monster was doing.
