History: Hazel grew up in New Zealand with her younger brother. The family lives in a community with multiple wizarding families, and Hazel enrolled in daycare where she met more magical children. Hazel has a big extended family, but she doesn't see many of them because they live in the UK. She knows she has an older cousin on her dad's side closer by, but they never see her dad's brother. Hazel never quite figured out why. Her parents both work at the ministry and do things the way they're 'supposed' to be done.
