Another meaningless morning, Samuel had nothing to do except schoolwork. It was gruesome in its own deluded way, for him at the very least. One of the last things he wanted to do was schoolwork and ignoring it felt like a good decision for him. Samuel, left his room and walked outside, he felt the cold morning air gently tickle his pale face as the sun rose to embark on a new day. Samuel was lucky though, he was wearing his ray bans as usual and the sun wasn't blinding him with it's brightness. It was also a good thing for Samuel when he realised that there was nobody else around. Being alone was what he wanted to be and since there was nobody else out at this time of morning, he felt relief that he wouldn't be disturbed by a meaningless conversation that would waste his precious time. Samuel walked around, trying to find somewhere to kill his day while attempting to gain enough inspiration for a new painting. Like that was going to happen, he was at school and it was early in the morning, dawn to be exact. It would be unlikely for Samuel to even feel like touching a paintbrush yet alone trying to paint. Either way, Samuel kept walking around looking for somewhere private.

He had succeeded when he arrived at an alleyway, it was dark, something Samuel liked. He felt a mischievous smirk cross his face as he walked into the alleyway and sat against one of the walls, with one leg bent in front of him. He sat there, his eyes closed, hidden by his dark sunglasses, soaking in the sounds of nature. It was peaceful, probably the most peaceful he could get while being in school grounds. It was somewhat pleasant for him. Samuel exhaled as he attempted to relax even further, even though it seemed like such a distant feeling.

Gwenneth-Adrie woke up early for once that day. At home she was used to waking before dawn but since school started up she had to stay up later with homework. But considering it was an easy day for her she had been abel to get enough sleep and woke before dawn. Throwing on a pair of shorts and a light jacket even though it was October she knew she wouldn't get cold. Exiting the castle she began to run, her hair flying behind her head as she thought about everything that was going on. Running around the school she ran past a alleyway and decided to loop back around to see where it lead.

Once she entered the alley she realized how dark it was but continued running, nearing the end she suddenly tripped over something, or rather someone and went flying into the air before landing on the ground once more. "OH, ow!" She said holding her left palm up looking at the nasty scrap it had with blood coming out, her knees in a similar state. Glancing back she noticed it was a person she tripped over. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you, I would've jumped over if I did. Are you alright?" She asked concerned she'd make an enemy out of the person, which was something she didn't want at all.

Relaxing in the sullen and somehow peaceful darkness of the alleyway he had so luckily come across. Samuel felt calm and collected. Something he enjoyed, just as most people would. Samuel's soothing relaxation in the darkness was interrupted by somebody tripping over his leg. He didn't see who they were exactly but once he heard them speak he realised it was a girl, she sounded pretty. Samuel didn't care much though, a stranger had been rude enough to trip over him like he was dirt. "I'm fine." He said, he sounded cold, he was irritated so it fit the situation. But it somehow seemed out of place. Samuel frowned underneath the darkness of his sunglasses "Watch where you're going." Samuel said, frustrated. This girl had been rude enough to not notice he was even there, and he could see in the alleyway, even through his ray bans. He could only barely see the silhouette of the girl, she was blonde, she looked blonde at least. He would do the polite thing and help her up, but this was dissimilar to his personality. Samuel just stared at her, annoyed by the fact that he had been so rudely interrupted from his relaxation. Samuel didn't say anything after that, he just stared at the stranger in annoyance.

Gwen looked back to where the voice was coming from. The boy was rude, that was for sure. She wiped her hand off on her shorts before she began to reply. "Well, geez, it's good to know you're fine but you don't need to tell me off. You're the one sitting in the dark alley at sunrise, I couldn't even see you," she said standing up from the ground getting the dirt off of her clothes. She wasn't sure who the boy was but she wasn't sure she wanted to stick around to find out. Nothing good comes from being in an alley with a stranger.

Glancing at the exit she saw the sun's light was just about hitting the enterance of the alley, she was loosing the only time she'd get alone in the day. Looking back towards the person her eyes were adjusting to the darkness and she could make out the boy was about her age though she wasn't sure what was up with the glasses. "Are you a vampire or something? Hiding out in the dark?" She asked unsure of whatelse she could say.

This remark by the stranger made Samuel smile to himself, he thought that it sounded too melodic and silent at the same time for him to hear that he was sitting in the dark at sunrise, it gave Samuel some sort of inspiration, for a new poem maybe. Samuel appreciated this comment, "That was the point, I didn't want to be seen." Samuel replied with no emotion, he sounded cold but he didn't mind at all. He didn't really want to be talked to but having a conversation might actually be worth some time. For once. Samuel started to feel blissfully amused when the girl asked about why he was actually in the darkness, that was just it, he didn't know why but he liked darkness, maybe it was because he actually felt invisible when he was in darkness, like he could get away with anything. "You're asking me? You're the one that just walked here without checking to see if anybody was there first." Samuel stated, quite rudely at that. "Anyway, I was here because I wanted to be here, not that it's any of your business." Samuel said looking away from her and out into the sun that was creeping around the corner of the wall he was leaning against.

Gwen rolled her eyes, this boy whoever he was wasn't be the nicest kid around. "Next time climb a tree to be hidden, then I won't run you over and scrape up my hands and knees," she said sitting down to lean against the other wall. She was to tired to run now falling over stop her running and her will to keep going. Glancing at the boy the sun was coming up more now and she could make out more or him. Not a vampire, she decided. "Excuse me for keeping up my morning routine by running and asuming that people would be smart enough not to sit down in a dark alleyway," she huffed out as she leaned her head back to rest on the wall. Her eyes could she the sky above getting lighter and she knew she'd have to go back in eventually and get cleaned up.

Letting out an irritated scoff at the stranger's comment, Samuel was a little irritated at the girl for being so rude, even though he was being rude himself. He didn't feel guilty by this in any way but he was sick of having annoying comments thrown at him by a girl that wasn't a threat to him at all. That's why Samuel made a decision to change the conversation. "Anyway, My name's Samuel. Are you okay miss?" He asked kindly, being formal. He was pretty sure that the girl wouldn't want to talk to him anymore but taking a chance wouldn't hurt would it? Samuel stood up and faced her as she started to lean against the wall. He leant against the wall opposite to her and smirked, "Young girls shouldn't be running in a dark alley, even if it is morning." Samuel said as he noticed the alley getting brighter, the day was going to start soon but Samuel knew already that he was going to skip everything he had that day, he wanted to paint instead of waste his time doing what he was supposed to.

Gwen shook her head while using her fingers to get out the dirt and leaves that managed to get in it on her fall. She rolled her eyes at his question, now he started caring. Standing up from the ground so she didn't feel little compared to him she listened to his statement before replying. "Well, no as a matter of fact my hands are stinging and blood is rolling down my legs from my knees. But yeah you know up till then I was having a pretty good morning," she stated as she took off her jacket to use to stop the blood flow on her knees and hands. It actually seemed to work as all four body parts were bleeding and you needed to add pressure to the wounds she just leaned over and put her hands on her knees with the jacket in between. "Can you blame me for wanting to know what was on the other side?" She asked about running through the alleyway, plus they were on school grounds it wasn't like anything really bad would happen.

Sniggering at the way the girl didn't introduce herself back, Samuel took of his sunglasses, folded them up and put them in his pocket. She mustn't have wanted Samuel to know who she was if she hadn't had enough manners to say her name when he had actually felt like making enough effort to introduce himself to her, this was unlike him, he would never usually introduce himself first. He rolled his eyes back at her. Trying to mock the unsubtle way she had rolled her eyes at him earlier. "It's nice to know your name too." He said sarcastically. He was half being sarcastic and half joking but the sarcasm was a whole lot more obvious than the joke once again. The girl was bleeding and Samuel saw another sarcastic joke on the situation and he couldn't help but say it. "Maybe I should drink your blood because I am so obviously a Vampire." Samuel said before a self-satisfied smirk crossed his pale face. Making a complete joke of the situation was so much fun for him even if he was sounding really sarcastic and the girl was probably thinking that he was really annoying and rude, he didn't care at all though."No, I can't. But there are some dodgy people that go to this school, none of them happen to be moi so you were lucky. This time." Samuel said while he continued to smirk in her direction, pleased in how his sentence sounded so perfect to him.

"Gwen," she said to the boy though she wasn't sure if she wanted him to know. "Gwenneth-Adrie." She rolled her eyes as he wasn't taking her seriously but she had run out of things before and the whole vampire option was a partial joke at that point. "Oh please no! I don't wanna die!" She said with mock horror on her face cowering away from him with a slight laugh. Gwen was the type to laugh at herself, which usually confused people into them leaving her alone. With a hand on her hip she looked at the boy, "I have my wand and I'm pretty smart I could of handled myself." She looked at her hands once more and most of the cuts were dry now and it seemed the be the same with her knees.

This conversation was amusing for Samuel. He laughed at Gwen's comment. He didn't beleive that she could have handled herself if she was put in a dangerous situation in a dark alleyway. "Sure, that's why you couldn't see me at all and tripped over me. Because you are just that smart." Samuel stated sarcastically, making a joke however, Gwenneth-Adrie would most likely think it wasn't anywhere near as funny as he did. Running a hand through his dark brown hair, Samuel let out a sigh. He was bored with Gwen. She wasn't really saying anything he found interesting at all. "Are you going to say something interesting now?" Samuel asked, looking away from her and out into the darkness of the alleyway they were in.
