Ash Wand 14 1/4" Essence of Hair from the Tail of a Male Unicorn
Carrying several bags of decorations and food, Arianna made her way down through the grounds to the Forbidden forest. Pausing on the outskirts, she glanced around, before slipping into the trees. Putting the bags down, she rummaged around in them, taking out a lantern. A few metres into the trees, she attatched the lantern to a tree branch to mark the spot. Ari and her best friend Viv had come up with the idea of a spooky party,like the ones they'd had last year, except this time it would be in the forest.

Ari walked deeper into the forest, placing a few more lanterns in the trees to make a path. She finally reached the place that she and Viv had foud yesterday. Shivering slightly, she looked over her shoulder. It had been fie yesterday, when she had been with Viv, but now the place was creeping her out. Shaking it off, she busied herself putting up more lanterns surrounding the clearing, and laid down a huge blanket for everybody to sit on.

As the final touch to the decorations, Ari pulled out a bunch of candles, and bewitched them all to float above the blanket. With anothr wave of her wand, she lit them all, casting an eerie glow over the site. Satisfied with her work, Ari begn to lay out all the food, grinning when she placed Viv' cake in the middle of the blanket. If Aeon came, she knew the cake would disappear with minutes.

She and Viv had thought long and hard about how to make the party extra spooky, and had arranged to wear black/gothic clothes. Ari wore the blackest, spookiest stuff she could find. She sighed and sat down on the blanket as she waited for Viv.

It had been a while since Vivienne had thrown a party, which was odd for her.. She used to throw parties of all kinds, nearly every week. In fact, she was the main party thrower of her group, the 'Weekly Party Club'. Creative name, wasn't it. Either way, Vivienne really wanted to have some fun. And rightly so! Because, let's face it.. who wouldn't want to have fun?!

Together wth her best friend, Vivienne had planned to throw a bigger party, and invite much more people than they had on other occasions. They wanted to do something fun.. but what? In the end, the two had decided to invite people to hang out in the Forbidden Forest. After curfew, as well. It was sure to be a bit creepy, but definitely fun. And it was somewhere that students weren't allowed, so hopefully it would make the two Hufflepuffs feel a little rebellious. Lame, you might think, but they didn't care. They just wanted to have fun.

On the night of the 'partay', Vivienne scrambled to find something black to wear.. Most of her clothes where cheery, and obviously not right for this occasion. Luckily, she found something perfect just in time. Running around like a headless chicken, Vivienne threw on the black lace dress, with tights and black shoes. She then gave her wavy hair a quick brush, and slid in a random black headband. Checking that no teachers were around, she began to make her way swiftly towards the forest.

Barely hesitating at the edge of the forest, Vivienne began to follow the flickering lanterns that were floating high in the trees. She pulled out her wand and cast Lumos for extra light. Her wand was made of Ebony, so it matched her outfit perfectly.. Yay! As she finally spotted Arianna, Vivenne smiled brightly. "Ari! Hey.. wow.. this is sort of creepy," she laughed, rasing her wand again. "Accio music thingy.." she muttered. Just then, a magical music device came flying through the trees. Vivienne caught it, and turned it on. "Hmm.. freaky songs.. freaky songs.." she said, before picking something she thought was suitable for the party.

Vivienne then pointed her wand at the ground. Slowly but surely, a thin layer of mist began to move around their ankles, just adding to the creepiness. She then levitated a large bowl of punch, so that people could walk over to it and not pick it up off the ground. After the whole area had been made to look like a really realistic haunted forest scene, Vivienne stood next to Arianna and smiled. "This looks awesome, now let's hope at least one person actually turns up," she laughed, over the fairly loud music.
 
Earlier that day Corrie had gotten an invite to a 'haunted forest partay'. He had read through it, trying to figure out who it was from, but had no luck. Instead he went up to his rooom and tried to find something he could wear that matched what he was told to on the invite. Eventually he found a black leather jacket and some skinnies in the bottom of his trunk.

When Corrie left for the party it was just after curfew so he had to be extra careful as he made his way out into the forest. He had a few near misses with teachers patrolling but that was all. As he reached the forest a small tingle went up the boys spine, this was the first time he was going into the forest properly.

The slytherin boy looked around for the lanterns, spotting one just a couple of feet before him. As he reached that one, Corrie saw another ahead and so on. He followed hem until he reached a small area where two girls, just older than him, were standing and some music was playing. "Umm, Hi?"
 
Arisa was bored being inside the castle so she was extremely excited when she got an invitation to a party in the forest. She quickly threw on a black top, black skinnys and fingerless gloves. She also quickly applied some make-up before heading outside. Arisa skipped down to the forest with how happy she was, which wasn't often these days. Once she was there it was like walking into the scene from snow white where she gets lost in the forest. Arisa shivered slightly but kept on walking, she noticed two people already there, Ari and Viv. Arisa ran up to them before hugging them so hard they almost fell the the ground, "I've missed you guys!!" she said before letting go. She then noticed a boy there, "hey" she said with a smile towards him.
 
Ari looked around nervously and she heard crunching coming nearer and nearer. She hoped it was Viv, but pointed her wand in the direction of the sound anyway. A minute later her best friend arrived in the clearing, and a wave of relief washed over her. Now that Viv was here she felt much braver.
"Hey!" she said in return, giving her friend a hug.

"Great idea!" Ari exclaimed as Viv cast mist around the picnic, and levitated the punch bowl.
"Ooh, music!" she squealed excitedly "Why didn't I think of that?" she said laughing. Hearing another person coming to join them, she gripped her wand extra tightly just in case, and squinted through the dark trees.

Corrie, who she recognised from the band had arrived
"Hi, thanks for comi-" she broke off as something hurtled towards her and Viv, giving them a massive bear hug. Laughing and stumbling backwards, Ari pulled away to find Arisa standing there
"I've missed you too!" It felt like forever since she'd last seen her friend.
 
Imogen had just gotten an invite to a partay. Immy had never been to one and so was rather excited to get an invite. It didn't bother her that she had no idea who it was from. What did bother her was the dress code. She quickly ran upstairs and began to chose. It took a long while but finally Imogen had chosen to wear a black t-shirt, jacket and trousers and black high heeled shoes. Imogen had even taken the time to make her hair and make-up more like the dark theme of the party. Nodding Imogen made her way to the party.

As she got closer and closer to where the party was meant to be at she could hear the music getting louder. Once she arrived at the clearing where the music was loudest, Imogen spotted a few people. She looked around her at the spooky atmosphere, which made Immy shiver slightly. She liked how it was all set up. The smoke around her ankles helping greatly. Immy walked over to where the other people were. One she recongised to be Corrie. The others she didn't know. Immy smiled at them all.

"Hi. This is a cool party. The people did an excellent job." Immy said brightly.
 
Sydney had gotten an invite to a random 'partay' with no name at the bottom. #She wasn't planning on going but, when the time came around, she was bored enough to go. The slytherin girl went through her clothes and pulled on a black dress with matching heels and set off through the castle. There was someone in front of her as she walked up so she could tell if there was a professor or prefect coming down.

When Sydney reached the ground she walked over to the forest, in the direction of the lights ands followed them. As she went she heard music and walked into an area with a few other girls and one boy. She didn't actually know anyone there but she recognised the boy from some of her classes and one of the girls as a friend of Marks'. Normally she would've made a comment or something towards the girl but she really couldn't be bothered at the moment so instead she just leant against a tree and watched.
 
Vivienne began to relax as more people began to arrive. This way, if something scary happened, she wouldn't be the first to die. Just kidding.. maybe. She stumbled a step or so backwards, when she was ambushed in a hug by someone she did at first not recognise. When Vivienne realised it was her other best friend, Arisa, she laughed and hugged her back. "Arisaaa! We've missed you too!" she smiled, speaking for both of them without actually meaning to.

She then looked around at the couple of other people. "Hey!" she welcomed them, before giggling again at one girl's comment. "Yeah.. they did a pretty cool job.." Vivienne replied, keeping up the charade. She wondered if anyone would realise that it was her and Ari that had organised it all? Whether they did or not, it didn't really matter.. Vivienne would just laugh and keep having fun. If it was a Professor, on the other hand.. she might be just a wee bit quieter..
 
Kida had recieved a letter inviting her to another party, at one point she considered not to go, but in the end she decided to throw on her black clothes apparently the party was met to be i the darkest part of the forbidden forest, but Kida has bee going to the forbidden nforest for almost 2 years not, so it wasn't exactly scary anymore.
Kida walked around passing the lanterns which were set up, and made her way to the clearing where she saw a group of People, Kida walked over to them and waved before she moved over to them and smiled.
 
Ari smiled at the girl who complimented their decorating skills
"Thanks! Yeah that was..." she trailed off as Viv spoke first, not telling her that it had been them "Me" she finished, shooting Viv a look.
Another girl arrived, and leant against a tree without talking to anybody
"Hey" she said in a friendly way "Thanks for coming"
Clearing her throat, she introduced herself to the two girls who she didnt know
"Erm, I'm Ari" she said, heading back over to stand next to her best friend.
 
"I'm never going more then a day with out seeing you guys again!" Arisa exclaimed before more people showed up. She smiled at them and waved, "there right this place looks awesome, it reminds me of scary forest scene in snow white" Arisa said looking around again. She listened to the music for a bit creepy she thought just before Kida showed up. Arisa gave her a dirty look before going over to the younger girl with blonde hair, "hey, I'm Arisa, who are you?" she asked trying to be nice.
 
Corrie realised that one of the older girls was Ari from the band. "Hiya Ari." He chuckled slightly as she was hit by a suprise hug. He looked around and noticed more people were turning up, Immy turned up and he waved to her, and a girl from his house arrived and he nodded politely to her.

As Corrie looked around he realised that most of the girls were in a year above him and that he was the only boy. He grinned and leant against a tree, waiting to see if anything else happened or any other boys turned up.
 
Imogen smiled as more arived. One girl didn't approach them much and Immy got the feeling the girl didn't like Immy. Imogen didn't know the girls name but decided if the girl didn't want to speak with her, she wouldn't bother either. Immy turned her attention back to the older girls, taking in the names befor saying her own.

"Imogen, but my friends call me Immy." Imogen said to them."It's nice to meet you all"
 
"Nice to meet you, Immy. I'm Viv. And.. I don't know your names, sorry.." Vivienne chirped in, indicating to the boy and the dark haired girl. Still smiling, she turned to get some punch to drink. Then, out of the corner of her eye, Vivienne noticed Kida Frost approach the group. Of course she had found out about what the Gryffindor had done to Arisa, and obviously she was not at all pleased about it. However, Vivienne would not become hostile, lowering herself to Kida's level. She had invited her out of politeness, so now she had to continue being a good host.

"Oh.. hello Kida.." Vivienne said, not meeting her eyes as tried to force the smile back onto her face. Quickly turning back to the others, she coughed to revive the slightly dampened party. "So.. why don't you tell us which classes you have this term, Ari?" she said, not sure what else to say.
 
Corrie looked up as the girl, she called herself Viv, started talking. "I'm Corrie." He did a little wave towards her. He noticed that there was a bit of tension when the last girl arrived but Viv was trying to hide it so it couldn't have been for something that bad.
Corrie just stayed where he was, he was kind of wishing he had brought his guitar as he felt like strumming something but he could live without it. Instead, he carried on watching the people, noticing how the girl in his house didn't like Immy but was trying to not show it.
 
Sydney looked up as a girl introduced herself as Viv, then the boy in er house said he was Corrie, she guessed it was her turn. "I'm Sydney." She spoke, confidently and politely before just watching everyone again. It seemed that the boy, Corrie, was doing the same and she cought him watching her at one point. Nodding politely she looked away and around the group, she looked over at the girl who was friends with Marks', Immy, before looking away again.
 
Kida noticed that most people wern't happy with her at the moment, she rolled her eyes and just ignored everone. Kida decided that she wasn't wanted and it was stupid to even show up. Kida walked through the clearing and back out the other side, ignoring everyone completely. Kida walked further into the Forest and didn't even both to go back.

Sukie had received an invite to some party in the Forbidden Forest by some anonymous person. Sukie was wearing a black shirt and black skinny jeans with a blood-red tie and a Armani shiny black belt. He did love parties, but sometimes knowing the host of the party would make you feel more comfortable of course. Sukie grinned as he began walking towards the Forbidden Forest. He began to wonder why they even named if the Forbidden Forests, since they were many students going there already. It wasn't forbidden anymore right? Sukie chuckled under his breath. He continued walking until he met a couple of people.

"Hey Everyone, I'm Sukie Takahiro," he said in a rather girlish manner, flicking his hair at them.
 
When Sam got an invite to a party he really didn't know what to think. He never got invites to parties which lead to him not really being a party person at all. He was considering not going but the fact that it was from an anoymous sender made him curious. Who would invite him to a party? His biggest bet was Hoshi though he would just have to wait and see. Sam rumaged around his room for the darkest clothes he could find. He eventually came up with something he would normally wear anyway: a black t-shirt, his black leather jacket and a pair of jeans, he also threw on his signature black scruffy coverse.

Sam propped his hood over his head once he stepped outside the castle and hurried down to the party in the forest. He had only been to the forest once or twice never mind attending a party there. Once he entered the forest he started to get excited, this was kinda cool. Sam noted the laterns around dimly lighting the area in front of him. He was tempted to take out his wand but decided not to, he'd just go with it. After a couple of minutes of strolling through the forest, not one bit afraid, he heard music. He was getting closer. A small smile appeared on his lips and he quickened his pace.

Shortly enough he arrived in the clearing full of people. I guess this is were the party is at he thought happily. He looked around to see if he recognised anyone at all. Hoshi wasn't there. If she was the hostess why wasn't she here? Probably because shes not the hostess he thought to himself, none of his friends here. Maybe he wasn't supposed to get an invite. Sam was about to turn and leave when he spotted two people who he recognised, Ari and Vivienne. A wave of relief washed over him, he did have friends here. He wasn't really ready to leave the party anyways. He hurried over to them, "Hey!" He said with a wave of his hand.
 
Avrille hadn't been exactly social, in fact the only other person she saw that was not in her family was the girl with eyes like ice. This was why she was surprised to recieve an invite to a party. She really wasn't the one for parties because she was a girl of few words, and those words were usually cold, but she was getting rather tired of Borka, so she figured it would do well enough to get her mind off of her new siblings, or the brats as she thought of them. Her raven black hair stood straight and blunt before her shoulders, where a rather boxy dress rested against her figure, or lack there of.

Unlike most girls at Hogwarts New Zealand, Avrille was flat chested, had awkward shoulders, and looked like the kind of girl that would fit in boys clothing more then anything. She could honestly say that she didn't care, most girls seemed to have taken estrogen pills, and it was rather odd, so she embraced her prepubscent self.

These thoughts escaped Avrille as she set her harlequin gaze on a group of people, all taller and all more outspoken then she. I should have brought a book, she thought. You shouldn't have come, a voice sung to her tauntingly. You're not like others here. You feed on the pain of others. You enjoy people's pain, and always will. You're exactly like Ludovic, the voice continued through her wince.

Avrille shook her head, before her pale, slender fingers fiddled with the awkward dress that limply hung on her boyish shoulders. She sighed as she walked over to a rather quiet part of the clearing, and sitting down on the stump of what used to be a magestic tree. She crossed her lanky legs at the ankles, and kicked up the dirt with her shoes, rolling her eeriely bright green eyes as she thought of the day that Rosaline adopted her, and gave her empty promises.

"Saumensch," the Ravenclaw thought aloud, of course speaking German. She had such trouble with English, it amazed her how everyone that attended Hogwarts New Zealand seemed to know two languages, and mastered at English, a very difficult language, while she could only speak German and Russian, but could understand Bulgarian. Of course her Mama was teaching her German and Bulgarian, but Russian was her mother tongue.[font]

Larissa had seen no reason to rush and been one of the first to the party- She had better things to do.
She was just finishing her hair, it was black underneath and went well with her outfit.
Larissa smiled at herself in the mirror; "This should do," she said, pocketting her wand in her dark blue jeans and pulling on her converses.

Larissa began the walk down to the Forbidden Forrest.
She'd done this a million time and had avoided being caught. Why should tonight be different?
As Larissa walked down the staircases, she could hear footsteps at each corner.
Teachers or fellow students also heading out to the forrest?
Larissa had a feeling Hoshi might have organised this 'party'. It was like Hoshi to choose such a grim, yet satisfying, place.

Larissa noticed a crowd of people but she couldn't see Hoshi.
Must be preparing a surprise, Larissa thought to herself, joining the crowd, still deep in thought.
 
Taylor had received an invitation for some kind of party, so she decided to go. It wasn't as if she had much else to do anyway, and she could always put off doing homework for another day. Taylor didn't much care if she got detentions, at least they were either interesting, or she could daydream.

She didn't own too many black clothes, Gabriella was the one who always had the darker clothes, but she found a black skirt with a dark grey jacket, and boots. Taylor hadn't a clue where the skirt had come from and why it was in her trunk, she hadn't worn it before. Maybe it was Gabriella's.

Taylor walked into the forest, looking around curiously. She hadn't been in here for a while and Taylor had forgotten it was so creepy. She saw some people she recognised, and a lot she didn't. Taylor walked up to Vivienne and Arisa and grinned. "Hey guys." she said. "Huh, cool party." Taylor commented, watching everything.
 
A first and second year party thrown by someone in the school. It sounded like Hoshi's kind of thing and who knew with everyone who is anyone being there Hoshi would very well run into people she hadn't seen in while. But first surprise that would freak everyone out at this time of night. Hoshi chose to ware a black button up and black pants witth black and white convers. Hoshi still had fusha hair but she had done it up in a way that it would fall over her face but still allow her to see. The blood red rose on the side of her head was the only other speck of color on her because Hoshi had bleached her skin so it was pailer than it normally was.

In such short notice Hoshi had modifyed few of the fireworks that larissa had given her for her birthday and set them up around where the party was being set. Hoshi thanked the stars that she was stelty because one crunch of a leaf and she would have been given away to the people furthers way from the music. Who ever was thowing the party had good taist. She waited for a few more people to pop up the Hoshi jumped out abandoning her usual Japanese accent as best she could.

Fools! You dare disturbe my place of rest. Now suffer my wrath!

Hoshi screamed in the middle of the party though because no one could see her face there had to be doubt it was her. As she moved her hands in a extravently ghostly manor the fireworks went off in time to ifesize her words until the final note where it looked like a circul of fire had eruped around the party. Hoshi let out a banshie like scream then said "Phyc!" as the frake flames died down. "Thanks for invite whoever is thowing this." She said then skipped off to find her friends among the party goers.
 
When Kida arrived, Ari glanced at Arisa quickly, to make sure that there wouldn't be any conflict. She was relieved when all they exchanged was a look. Viv did her best to lighten things up, and then asked her what classes she had
"Err, the same as you?" she said, giggling. More people started arriving, and Kida disappeared into the forest. Ari bit her lip, wondering if she should go after her. She wasn't sure she wanted to though, after what had happened to Arisa.

"Sam!" she said, as her friend arrived "Thanks for coming! We're hoping we're not going to get caught" she said, looking back towards the castle.
"But, um, I'm just going to go see where Kida went" she said, pulling out her wand
"I'd feel terrible if she got lost or something" she added, lighting her wand with a small flick
"I'll see you guys later" she said nervously, resisting the urgeto tell them to come after her if she wasn't back in half an hour.
She walked deeper into the forest, in the direction she had seen Kida go
"Kida!" she called out "Come back to the party!" she said, tripping over a root.
 
Arisa turned to face Ari as she said she was going after Kida god shes going to get herself killed! Arisa thought. "I'm going to stop Ari from getting lost or Kida murdering her" Arisa said quickly to Viv before running off after Ari. "Ari!" Arisa called out trying to find her, Arisa knew the forest like the back of her hand, this place was basically her home at Hogwarts. She finally found Ari calling out to Kida, " are you trying to get yourself killed!?" Arisa asked in a frantic voice.
