Hello all,

I just joined this messaging board about a day ago, and from my first impression this board looks like a very active, sophisticated and enjoyable forum to be on. I hope one day, I'll be able to be sorted in and join this wonderful RP world you folks have over here. Anyways, let me get to my topic. :)

Has anyone seen/head of the new Harry Potter Theme Park being built in Orlando in Universal Studios? It looks amazing. Honestly, its for true Harry Potter fans that want a physical place of the Harry Potter Universe.

Check it out over: http://www.universalorlandoresort.com/harrypotter/

What do you guys/gals think?

Hey there ^_^
To start off: Welcome to HNZ ... glad you seem to like it so far. :)

I've heard of the theme park, and I remember there being tonnes of discussion about it here when it was like first being announced.
It seems like it'd be fun. Some of the rides seem silly and random, but I guess they do need to do things like that to keep people interested. I'd much rather prefer just a HP themed location to visit than a theme park, the theme park part - in my mind - takes away from the Harry Potterness.
But that's probably just me. xD

I do have to agree, some of the rides do seem kind of out of place but I just want to see what they did with the universe of Harry Potter. I want to see the Hogwarts Castle, and all those places.

I think the theme parks looking really good so far, it has that magical feel to it and I would love to visit it some day. I just hope that when there I get that exciting, thrilling, magical feeling that I do when watching/reading Harry Potter.
It's looking good and I can't wait to see it finished. The only thing is it could go as wrong as it could right, and I'd hate to see them mess it up. If it does go right, however, I think it'll be great for fans, we'll get to really experience the whole Harry Potter thing. Everything looks so like it does in the films, too. Although I really don't understand why there building it in Orlando when the movies and books are set in Scotland and England. I think they should have built it over here.
And I agree with you too Nick, I think the theme park will be brilliant when it's finished, but I think maybe something like Diagon Alley or Hogmeade would have been better to set up.

Not sure how many people have had a look at this, but I'm gunna post it here anyways.
