Harri and Hollie

[[Cheers :D So after the Christmas holz we go to our second term timetable, right?? Oh, and btw how long do the holidays last?]]

Hollie nodded eagerly.
"Yeh, I guess I will see her then. I mean, I'm definitely going home for the holidays, so I'll get in touch with her and meet up. That's if she still wants to be assosciated with me!" Hollie laughed. She knew Lauren would love her no matter what.

[[also, (sorry to be a bother) can we stay on at HNZ in the holidays???]]

((Yep we go into second timetable! And I'm not sure normally admin post a few days before its going to be closed saying when its going to close! Yeah you can stay here!))

Harri laughed "Of course she'll want to be associated with you!" she said grinning, "Did you tell her about here?" she asked.

Hollie smiled. And then shrugged.
"um... well, kind of. I mean, I told her I'd got a letter to a school in New Zealand, which she thought was pretty cool. And I did mention that it was for people of magical ability, but I don't know how much she took in. I showed her the letter..." she paused. "So yeah, I guess I did tell her. And she was alright about it, you know? A bit upset and stuff, but not jealous or anything ridiculous." She smiled again. "Anyway, tell me something about you. I hate talking about me, I feel so self-centred!" she laughed.

"Well thats good!" Harri said "Did she believe it straight away?" she asked, "No your not self centred! I am quite a boring person really!" she siad laughing.

Hollie thought about that for a moment.
"Well, no, perhaps not. She said, quote on quote, 'it may be your sister playing a prank on you'. But eventually she came round, and realised that I really was going away.
Nah, you're not boring! Tell me a fact about you, anything." she said, laughing. "Dya have a date for the ball?"

Harri laughed "Well thats understandable i mean you did just tell her your a witch!" she said grinning, "No I don't, but I'm still going!" she siad happily "How about you?" she asked.

"Yeah definatly," Harri said beaming "Have a dance together?" she asked, "Well Kevin, but seeing as he doesn't go to this schoool..." she trailed off laughing, "How about you?" she asked, equally as sly.

Hollie smiled. "Yeah, sure!" she said, beaming. "Urm... well, no one really. I haven't really had a chance to get to know many boys. But that doesn't really bother me. I'm only in first year so there's still time!" she laughed. "Oh, cool, what school does he go to then?"

"Hogwarts Scotland," Harri said her tone was strange, almost sad. ""Yeah plenty of time!" she said laughing, "You settling in well though, right?" she asked.

"Great!" Harri said, happy that she had setteled in well. "Well hes one of my best friends cousin, and I knew him from this camp I went in before i came here," she said happily, she laughed as she remembered these events.

Harri nodded "Yup it was fantastic!" she said recounting the happy memories from that summer, "Have you ever been on one?" she asked.

Harri grinned "Good times ehh?" she said, "I wish I could go back to that sometimes," she said, her voice carried a little too much longing, it was the truth although she had known nothing about this place then she had had Emma.

"DADA, History of magic and potions," Harri said happily "My best subjects!" she said smiling, though she hadn't really enjoyed HOM much she had done best in it out of all her subjects and now she vowed to put much more effort into it, "How about you? Good ones?" she asked.

"Astronomy! Yuck!" Harri said laughing "I had it last term and hated it!" she said shaking her head "Do you think you'll like it?" she asked, "Ahh the rest don't sound too bad!" she added grinning.

Hollie laughed at Harri's reaction and pulled a face.
"Nah, not really," she said, "I mean, I like science and space and all that, but it sounds really tedious. Boring, you know? And history of magic doesn't sound enthralling, but I guess it'll be ok." She grinned at Harri. "So why did you hate Astronomy so much? Is it really that bad?"

"History of Magic is suprisingly interesting!" Harri said laughing, "I mean sometimes it's alot of work but it is really good!" she said truthfully. "Argh its just really boring!" she said shaking her head "Too many lectures about people who invented telescops!" she said grinning "But each to their own, you never know you might like it!" she siad shrugging.

Hollie smiled ruefully.
"Yeah, but I'm sure I'll find it boring too!" she said, in response to Harri's statement. "And History of Magic... well, I guess that's ok. A lot of note-taking, but I suppose that's like any kind of history." She thought for a few minutes. "So what are your favourite subjects then? And your worse?"

Harri nodded "Yeah its loads of note taking, but I guess I felt it kind of helped me learn more about this world!" she siad shrugging, "Hmm favorites are definatly potions and DADA," she siad grinning, "Worst are herbology and Astronomy," she said, those were the subjects she didn't enjoy, she just saw them as almost pointless.

Hollie looked surprised.
"Really?" she said, blinking. "I didn't enjoy potions that much. We didn't make a single potion! But I guess that might have been because we had Professor Keller, and he was leaving. Hopefully our new teacher will be better." She smiled. "Yeah, I like DADA as well, except King gave me a T=0 on an assignment, because I copied about one line from a library book and used adult language." She laughed. "But I got over that a long time ago. My results in the exam were good, anyway.
Worst subjects... well I haven't really experienced a load of subjects yet, so I couldn't say. But I guess at the moment potions seemed pretty awful. Keller was useless, in my opinion!"

She knew she wasn't being very fair on the ex-teacher, but he hadn't met her expectations and had been really grumpy.
