Happy times

[Veronica Right]

Veronica had arrived to the Yule Ball, she had come with her brother which was a bit lame but she didn't really care. It was him or no one, and she wasn't going to be one of those sad people that would just stay in their rooms crying about not being invited by someone. Or at least that's what she thought they were doing.

She was wearing a long simple backless blue dress with the straps around her neck, she was wearing her sparkly silver stilettos and a matching purse. She waved at @Lily Harbour and @Sofia White that looked stunning in their dresses and Sofia even looked very cozy with a certain Slytherin boy. Veronica was surely going to keep an eye on him to make surehe wouldn't hurt her emotionally.

This seemed like a promising night and everyone seemed more relaxed now that the exams were over, Hogwarts was certainly a stressful place but they sure knew how to throw a party.

 

[Ruben Right]

Ruben arrived at the ball with his sister, as always she looked dazzling. She always knew how to dress up for these occasions and he was lucky enough that they were on the same house so she could help him too. His sister helped him pick a classic black suit with a white shirt and a blue tie to match her dress.
He saw his sister waving at Lily, last time he was with her he had dragged her into a huge lie and he needed to clear the air with her, maybe the Ball was the perfect place and he could explain her why he lied and they could talk about it while they dance or something.
He quickly told his sister about the whole hunt for Thestrals he had with Lily, he hadn't gotten the chance to tell her yet and he was pretty proud that they didn't lose any house points. Knowing Veronica she would probably reprehend him but it was a fun adventure nevertheless.
"I need to apologise to her" he concluded, hoping that Lily wouldn't be that mad.

Veronica heard her brother's story without batting an eyelash "I can't believe you dragged into that. Now I have to apologise to her too for having a brother that lies and involves her in his lies" she said a bit angry at him.
She took a deep breath to calm herself dow thinking that tonight was a happy night and that she was not going to make a scene, her exams had went perfectly and she was not about to ruin her celebratory mood.
She went to grab some drinks for her and Ruben, there were a huge variety of drink but she chose the ones that she knew better, a pink lemonade for her and a normal one for Ruben.
She didn't knew what was the purpose of this ball but if she knew something was that tragic things happen at this sort of events, at least that's what happens in the movies, amd she wasn't about to lose the drama.

 

[Ruben Right]

Ruben couldn't believe his sister was actually speaking to him like she was better than him "Relax sister" he said with a bit of a mean tone ready to knock her out of the superior position she was taking "It's not like she had the best impression of you the first time she met you either." he said to her "There goes the Right family first impression for Lily" he said chuckling, it was inpressive how both of them had managed to mess up with the girl and both give her a terrible first impression.
Veronica then went to grabs drinks and returned with a lemonade for him, it was a bit sour but Ruben actually enjoyed them that way. He then went to find Lily hoping she would hear him out and then his mind was set on going to the dance floor. After all he was just like Cinderela, a popular muggle story, he had to be back to his dorm before midnight, which when all this perfect night spell would end.

 

[Lily Harbour]

As Lily was dancing with Terrell she noticed tow of the Right family members. She was friends with Veronica, but Ruben got off with a wrong impression. But Lily never really held any grudges against anyone, so she waved at the siblings. She noticed them talking... She wondered if Ruben would apologize or not. But she waited for the two to come closer before saying anything. She hoped Veronica wasn't going to be mad at her for you know, being in the forest with her brother.
