As much as Geo had struggled with the last few weeks, she was very much looking forward to tonight. She wanted to do something that would include the students at the school that didn't have somewhere to go over the holidays, and while the students may have had their own plans during Christmas, the third year had invited all those that remained to a party to welcome in the New Year with flyers strategically placed around the school.

The sun had begun to go down, but there were still a few hours until the strike of midnight. The cliffs may have seemed like an usual spot for a party, but the young Hufflepuff thought it was a good reminder that no matter what their circumstances, everyone could always look across the horizon into a future they had yet to create. After spending some time setting the scene, she was proud of what she'd achieved and glanced between the decorations in her mind, ticking off that she'd managed to remember everything. A large fireplace had been burning for a few minutes in the centre of the grassy area, that included a small tray of marshmallows pierced with sticks, next to which Geo had managed to transfer some logs in a semi respectable seating area.

She knew that most of her friends were away over the break, and wasn't entirely sure who if anyone was going to turn up, and so she'd put together a variety of foods and drinks that she'd hauled from the Great Hall in the hopes of catering to as many people as possible. Even if there were only a few people who spotted her advertisements and came to join her, she knew at the end of the say it was about making new friends than anything else but that didn't stop her trying.

The music had already started playing as she waited to see who would turn up, and dressed in a simple outfit she moved between the stands, hoping that an event like this would bring together those that had either chosen to remain over the holidays or weren't able to visit their homes. For Geo, Hogwarts was her home, and returning to the orphanage she'd grown up in was no longer an option. She was smiling to herself and nodding her head to the beat of the music as the sun began to go down over the mountains, as she hoped for a night to remember.

When Vilhelmine had spotted one of Geo's advertisements for the New Year's party, she had at first been reluctant to go. Parties weren't her thing, and though she wanted to support her friend, the thought of standing around making stilted conversation - or worse, being completely ignored - did not appeal. Then she had realised that Ursula, too, was staying at the castle for the holidays, and suddenly the prospect of celebrating New Year's became a whole lot more exciting. She'd ripped the flyer from the wall and practically thrust it into the Ravenclaw's face, telling her she had to come - it wasn't a request. Now that the night had come, however, Vil was feeling considerably more timid, and had begun to wonder whether she ought to have ignored the flyer after all. She had a bad feeling about the evening that she couldn't place, and it did not shift even after she arrived and said hello to Geo.

"You look very nice," Vil said, with a smile. The gentle summer wind ruffled her short brown curls and played with the light fabric of her dress. She hadn't planned on wearing it. She knew it was risky. But for once in her life, she wanted to feel pretty - and if that meant taking a risk, then so be it. The skirt fell right down to the ground and completely covered her legs, but still she had to take great care not to trip. She'd only walked from her common room to the cliffs and she was already exhausted. Picking up a marshmallow on a stick, Vil headed to the fire and waited for Ursula to arrive.

Ursula had been planning for the New Years party since the day her best friend had ripped down the flier from the wall and thrust it to her blue orbs. She hadn't thought of doing anything over the holidays other than wait for her letters from home about her younger brother and give Vil her Christmas present which she had promised she'd give her at the New Years party, as it seemed like it might make the night more interesting. The blanket had both their house colors on it, she wanted her memory to keep Vil warm even when they had to separate. Ursula felt so anxious that planning her outfit was a million times harder than usual, when she would only wear exercise clothing while hanging out with Mine. This wasn't the same though, this was a party. So dressed in an outfit she'd worn to military balls, she made her way to the cliffs.

Upon arriving she gave a nod to the blonde, whom had become a great work out partner after their first interaction. It didn't take long after that for Urs to find her friend, and she stopped for a moment watching the summer breeze catch her red dress. Sneaky as she was, Urs hoped she was unheard as she approached her friend and suddenly enveloped her from behind. "Rahh!" She gave a yell, attempting to startle Vil, wrapping the blanket around her middle from behind, the present now visible if the girl looked down. They weren't going to just sit on the ground after all.

Staying at school during the holidays had become a habit for Austin and Autumn, so much so that neither of them gave it much thought and it was assumed early on that they would be doing the same again. The last thing the Hufflepuff had expected was to hear of a party being held on new years eve and by a fellow Hufflepuff no less. Austin wasn't too thrilled by the idea of a party on the cliffs but he knew his sister well enough to know she would be going and that she wouldn't accept him missing it. With that in mind the Hufflepuff got himself ready for the party.

Once ready Austin made his way to the entrance hall where he met his sister and they headed out to the cliffs where the party was being held. It was an unusual place for a party but the early evening air was quite pleasant so Austin didn't really have any complaints as they made their way to the party. Austin couldn't help but notice the host as they arrived. She looked stunning and lacking the courage to say so to her face he simply turned to Autumn. "Wow she looks amazing,"

Odette didn't usually stay at school during the holidays, this was the first year she wasn't spending Christmas at home. All she had done to let her mother know was send a little letter, and unsurprisingly she hadn't heard anything back. Her mother could have forbidden it, forced her to come home, but it appeared that she didn't care enough to do that. It didn't exactly surprise Odette, though it made her sad. There wasn't much making her happy lately, though she did feel an odd warmth in her chest as she thought back to the encounter with Harley. But even that had another side to it. It seemed obvious to Odette that something like that would never happen again, as Harley probably thought of it as a horrible mistake.

The new years party was something she had seen around, but hadn't paid much mind to until the day itself arrived. She hadn't planned to go, but there was something sad about sitting in her dorm alone on this day. It was a new year, after all. The old Odette would have dressed up for an event like this, but she hadn't felt like it. She just wore simple dark jeans with a black shirt. Even if the party was the less sad alternative for her night, it wasn't going to be anything special she was sure.

She arrived at the cliffs with her hands shoved into her pockets and a frown on her face. She looked around and sighed. The fire was nice, but she didn't really see many people she wanted to see. That list was very short lately anyway. The only people she recognized were the girl that organized it and the Branning twins from her own year. Paying the twins no mind, she moved over to the fire and sat down on the grass. Without looking up, she grabbed a stick with a marshmallow pierced on it and held it over the fire. She might as well take advantage of the food while she was here.

Autumn hadn't even considered going home for the holidays as she and Austin didn't have much of a home to go to. When they heard about the new years party Autumn was quite excited by the idea. Not much happened over the holidays since most of the school went home and she thought it would be quite fun to dress up for something other than the two dances the school held every year. Autumn decided to be crazy and get herself a new dress for the party. She loved it and it was a shame that Rufus was home for Christmas so he wouldn't be able to see it.

Once she was ready Autumn made her way down to the entrance hall where she met her brother and they made their way to the cliffs for the party. Ther evening air was quite pleasant so Autumn had foregone wearing a jacket and she was glad to see that she wasn't the only one wearing a dress as the host had dressed up too and she had to admit the girl looked stunning and clearly her brother agreed as he turned to her to voice his opinion. Autumn rolled her eyes and dragged Austin along to greet the host. "Geo right? Everything looks great, especially you, you look absolutely gorgeous,"

Geo had been delighted to see her favourite dorm mate join her on the cliffs, and as her first guest it made it very real that this was finally being kicked into action. "Thank you. You look lovely too, as always," she replied, before busying herself with making sure the fire had enough wood to burn with. She thought she'd brought enough with her last for the evening, but she was going to need to keep an eye on it if she didn't want it to die down too much. Shortly after Vil, she spotted one of her newest friends, and while she smiled in the Ravenclaws direction she left her to speak to Vil. As she turned she spotted Odette, an older Slytherin student whom she'd tried to befriend during a Quidditch match, not that Odette had been particularly welcoming to her attention. Geo wanted to look past that though, and after all this was a place for everyone to spend time, and perhaps during the course of the evening Geo would no longer consider the Slytherin to be grumpy towards her.

The place was beginning to fill up quickly as two more students joined them, although they weren't anyone Geo had yet to recognise. "Hi," she said to the girl as she appeared to drag the boy beside her across to the Hufflepuff. She blushed a little at her comment, thinking that she too was stunning and wondered how she'd never come across her in the school before. "Thank you," were the words that eventually escaped her when her cheeks had managed to cool down a little, "Yes it's Geo. What's your name?" she asked, her blue eyes staring up to the brunette, "I mean, names." she clarified, recalling the girl wasn't the only one stood in front of her. She wanted to continue her hosting duties, to make sure that everyone had drinks and to welcome those that had joined, but it wouldn't hurt to get to know new faces too.

Autumn hadn't really expected her words to have any effect on the host of the party so she couldn't help but smirk when the girl seemed to stumble over her words. She looked between Geo and Austin, the latter not able to make eye contact with the attractive Hufflepuff. "I'm Autumn, this is my brother Austin who is about to go and mingle right Austin?" She said turning her attention to the boy and tilting her head for him to leave. Austin rolled his eyes and walked away and Autumn quickly turned her attention back to Geo. "He means well but he kind of cramps my style you know?" She smiled at Geo as she brushed a strand of her hair out of her face. "The party looks amazing and I needed the excuse to buy this dress, what do you think?"

The flyers around the school weren't hard to miss, and Sara's curiosity always won over. Or, it did most of the time. She had no idea who would attend, but she did want to see a friend she felt like she hadn't spoken to since that time she came to her house during the holidays. She quickly slipped on the dress she was given as a birthday gift last year, from her older sister, before she did the rest and was out of the common room in no time.

Once she arrived at the cliffs, she checked her surroundings and at all the people that were there and she was relieved when she spotted Geo, except that she seemed busy speaking to someone else, so Sara slowly made her way to the drinks, and got herself a cool drink, before opening it and taking a small sip. She noticed Odette, her teammate, and even though she and the older girl didn't start off on the right foot Sara didn't have anything against her. Sara had no idea whether the older Slytherin wanted to speak to her at all, but she never liked it when others were alone, unless they asked to be. "Hi," she said once she had gone over to Odette, really hoping no arguments between them would break out this time.

After finishing her marshmallow, Vil tossed the stick into the fire, rubbing at the goosebumps on her arms. She wasn't cold - just nervous. Maybe she shouldn't have worn the dress, after all. Maybe coming to the party at all had been a dumb idea, and Vil should just go back to her dormitory right n-

The Hufflepuff jumped as Ursula embraced her from behind, wrapping some kind of blue and gold blanket around her waist. She turned around and pulled out of her friend's grip, taking the blanket and holding it up to take a look at the design. "Is this for me?" she asked, regretting the question almost immediately as she realised it probably wasn't. She was distracted, though, by the beautiful dress Ursula had chosen to wear. It seemed to fit her perfectly - much better than Vil's fit her - and the Hufflepuff almost caught herself staring. A blush spreading across her cheeks, she averted her gaze to the grass.

Ursula was pleased with her friend's reaction, a small jump that meant she'd caught her off guard. Giving a toothy grin Ursula nodded. "It's both our colors. That way if we have to spend Christmases apart, you always have something to remember me by." She gave a playful wink to her best friend, blue orbs reflecting her own deep brown ones. Vil had the prettiest eyes in the school, and though Urs was convinced she'd never believe her if she opened her mouth so she didn't. Finally looking over Vil's dress she couldn't help but note how good her friend looked in red. "You should have been a Gryffindor." She spoke, reaching out to feel the material of the dress by her shoulder. "This looks awesome on you." The American girl said earnestly, hoping Vilhelmine would accept her compliment at face value. "You alright Vil?" She asked, now noticing the red in her face. "Would you like to sit down? I brought another blanket to sit on for us!" She said with a smile, showing the plain black piece of cloth that was balled up in her hands. She hoped Vil didn't mind spending time with her when there were other students around. After all, Ursula didn't find herself the most interesting girl in the magical school.

As students kept trickling in and talking to each other, Odette started to wonder what she was dong here. She hardly had any friends, especially lately. What had she expected? She rolled her eyes as she heard Autumn suck up to Geo, looking at her like a lost puppy as if the other girl wasn't younger. But she kept her comments to herself as she took a bite of marshmallow. At least she had some food. But before she could decide if she wanted to leave, another person joined the party and headed over to her. Odette frowned as she looked up at Sara. The girl was on the team with her, but that was about all they had in common. She had never been nice to the girl, so she had no idea what she wanted. "What?" She asked bluntly, assuming she had some reason to approach her.

Geo smiled as Autumn introduced her and her brother, wondering why the students were here talking to her when they could be enjoying themselves with other things at the party. She may have been hosting but she knew she wasn't the most interesting person to speak to when her mind was distracted with making sure everyone else around her was having fun. She laughed a little when the girl mentioned how her brother cramped her style, not letting on that she perhaps thought a little differently. Geo's blue eyes glanced up and down at the girls outfit, taking in the style for the first time, "Oh," Geo wasn't usually one to care too much about dresses nor fashion, and always had to put in a special effort when it came to choosing something to wear outside of her usual sport clothing, however as she noticed the combination of short and skirt in Autumns dress, she couldn't help but be genuinely admirable about it. "That's..actually an amazing dress!" she said, nodding her head as her gaze returned to the older students face, her smile widening a little. "Where did you get it from?" she asked, wondering what else they sold in that style.

The blanket began to swim in Vilhelmine's vision. Ursula was always so thoughtful - much more thoughtful than Vil. She hardly felt she deserved such a wonderful best friend, and was already trying to think of ways she could repay her. "It is beautiful. Thank you," she said, wrapping it around her shoulders in the hopes of stopping the shivering. She needn't have bothered, though, because Ursula's next move nearly paralysed her. She took a small step backward, hoping Urs would drop the material of her dress, and blushed. "Thank you. Yes, I am fine. Just - what? Oh, no. On the ground?" Vil couldn't sit on the ground. Not in a dress. Ursula would see her leg for certain. Afraid of sounding rude, and starting to panic, she said, "I - I do not feel well. I am going back. OK? I'm sorry. I should not have come - I should not have done this."

Shrugging off the blanket and bundling it up in her arms, Vil started away from the party, the dark ground uneven and slippery beneath her feet. More than anything she wanted to run, but even a fast-walk was difficult, and after only half a dozen paces she tripped, falling on her hands in the dirt and grass. She gasped, quickly grabbing at her dress to cover her prosthetic leg, but it was too late; she'd already revealed it. Clambering to her feet, she made to carry on walking, tears now pooling in her eyes and flowing down her cheeks. This was awful. This was why she should never have come. She didn't even care about anybody else who might have seen. Ursula would never look at her the same way again - never look at her as if she was beautiful - and how could she cope with that?

Autumn smiled at her brother as he walked away leaving her alone with the host. She was surprised how happy she felt knowing that Geo liked her dress, wearing it had been worth it after all and was glad someone appreciated it since Rufus wasn't around to admire it. "Oh this," Autumn blushed a little as she asked where she got the dress from. "It's from a muggle dress shop back home, I've always admired their dresses and finally had one sent for the occasion, where did you get yours it's beautiful and you wear it so well," The blush on Autumn's cheeks deepened and suddenly she was conscious that Geo might notice.

Geo had decided to attend the event with blonde hair that evening in an attempt not to clash with her dress, however that didn't mean that her cheeks were a stranger to the rule of pink. She smiled as she was complimented by the tall beautiful girl in front of her, although it seemed she was just as shy in admitting it too. "Oh, well if get anything else from there I'd love to see it. Yours suits you so well and I love it when someone is confident." she added with a smile, trying to lift her spirits. In the corner of her eye she saw a little commotion, although she couldn't quite tell what was happening. Taking a glance from her new friend she looked across and saw Vil picking herself up from the ground, and doing her best not to frown as she tried to work out what she'd just missed, Geo's heart began to thump a little faster in her chest as the options sprawled through her mind. "Would you.. excuse me for a moment?" she asked, blue eyes looking back to Autumn, feeling a little guilty but her heart would always belong to her best friends before anything else. "Perhaps you and Austin will stay until midnight? We can see the new year in properly. I'm sorry," she said quickly, tapping her on the arm as she spoke before she took off in the direction of her dorm mate.

It only took a few seconds for Geo to reach Vil, although she did her best not to walk too fast and draw attention to the situation. By the time she reached her, it became apparent that Vilhelmine was not in a comfortable state, and Geo moved around in front of the girl, "Hey, hey Vil, wait up. What going on?" she asked quietly, wondering whether someone had upset her for her to want to leave the party. It was supposed to be a fun night and she didn't want any of her best friends to be by themselves nor unhappy at a time like this. Vil was like a sister to the Hufflepuff, and if she needed someone to listen to her she'd always put her first. Her arms reached out lightly to the girls elbows in an attempt to comfort her, but not wanting to get too close that she'd be angry at her for interrupting her as she tried to leave. The tears on her cheeks were enough for the third year to be suitably concerned, and she knew she was going to struggle to enjoy her evening if she didn't find out what was wrong.

Ursula was completely unaware that anything she said could be wrong when it came to talking to Vilhelmine. They were best friends after all and the girl often felt no matter what remarks she made they were always going to laugh in the end. However after asking for her to take a seat with her the girl became flustered and uncomfortable and Urs' already large blue eyes widened, and her mouth gaped open as if to fumble for an apology. However her best friend was already making her way away.

Ursula tailed her. "Mine." She said with a voice that was suggestive of the kind of concern she had for her closest friend. "Mine wait up, I'm sorry, we don't have to sit." She said, only finally catching up with her when she slipped and landed on the ground. The Ravenclaw wanted to help, but when Vil moved to adjust her dress she was caught off guard by what she saw. Stunned into silence, Urs almost missed when she got up and her running partner joined them. Feeling intensely protective, Urs gave a narrowed glance at the hand Geo reached out with and moved forward faster. If the Ravenclaw was honest she'd never felt so panicked as when Vil was running away, and now she had the feeling she knew exactly why. Making her way so she was in her line of sight, she looked to Geo. "I've got her." She said earnestly. "Vilhelmine? Is that what you were worried about?" She asked about her leg, which wasn't a leg. Plenty of veterans had them - she'd seen them before. She didn't know how she felt knowing though that for three years Vil had kept this secret from her.

In all honesty, Sara didn't know what she had expected. She didn't know Odette well at all, after all the only way she really knew about her was from Quidditch and rumours, though Sara never believed in rumours. But for someone to be so blunt was not exactly it. She frowned, but smiled a little, almost as if she couldn't quite believe the rude tone the older girl used. She decided to ignore it. "I don't want anything from you," she reassured the blonde - now brown haired girl. Sara hadn't noticed the change until now. "Can't I just sit here and keep you company?" Sara asked in a neutral tone. She was tired of fighting with people these past few weeks, and more people at home than school, but it still exhausted her. If Odette didn't want her there, that was fine too, she could find someone else to talk to. Despite how blunt Odette was, Sara still believed she wasn't that mean.

Hearing Geo call her, Vilhelmine froze suddenly in her tracks. She turned, slowly, to see that both Ursula and the Hufflepuff had already caught up with her. She probably hadn't been walking as quickly as she'd thought. Embarrassed for their combined attention, she fixed her gaze to the grass, hiding a heavy blush. Much as she liked Geo, she wasn't disappointed when Ursula dismissed her. Geo was popular, and pretty, and interesting, and likeable - all the things Vil thought she wasn't - and while Vil wasn't jealous, she didn't feel so comfortable admitting her vulnerability in front of Geo as she did her best friend. After a moment, Vil continued walking, though at a slower pace this time, and not with the intention of losing Ursula. Running away wouldn't make a difference. She was going to have to confront it eventually. She only wished she'd had more time to prepare for losing her friend.

Anger suddenly brimming inside her, Vilhelmine turned to accost the Ravenclaw. "Of course this is what I was worried about!" she cried, tears falling freely down her cheeks. "How would you feel if - if you were a one-legged... freak?" Vil knew she would never have thought the same thing about anybody else, but she was harsh about herself. "I can't run, or dance, or do anything normal - and I am ugly. You do not have to say it! I know it is in your head. I will make it easy for you. I do not want to be your friend. So - you can go. Go away! Go back to the party!" Her voice cracked as she said it, her face crumpling, but she couldn't take it back. She had to distance herself from Ursula before Ursula distanced herself from Vil. It would still be painful, but less so. And maybe - maybe one day, she would manage to fall out of love with her.

Ursula watched Vil's face. She had never thought that seeing someone cry would hurt her so much, but her chest tightened and she felt her face heat up with worry and an emotion she wasn't sure she could describe. She wanted to make her stop crying, but she wasn't sure what she could do. When Vil turned away from her to walk again, Ursula couldn't help but feel hopeless. Mine's slow steps were easy for the Military brat to keep up with though and she walked with her, silent as she tried to think of the words she could say to make her best friend understand that nothing she could do could change how she felt.

When Vilhelmine turned around and begun to raise her voice, Ursula shrank. She'd face every drill sergeant with a can do, yes sir attitude - but in this moment Ursula Ciccone had never felt smaller. Her baby blues widened as she watched, listening to her friends hurtful words, the way her slim lips let out lies. "Vilhelmine Dahl, you stop it!" She said grabbing ahold of her best friends face and bringing her lips to smash onto Vil's. Ursula wasn't sure what she was doing, she knew very little about her feelings other than her parents would kill her if they knew she stood in the middle of the lawn on New Years eve, kissing a girl she'd somehow gotten so close to from their first day together. Every sleep over, laugh, and late night talk rang through Ursula's mind in that moment, and after a few seconds she pulled away, searching Vil's brown orbs, hoping she hadn't shoved their friendship any further down the toilet. "I'm not going anywhere. Not without you."

Vilhelmine didn't have time to register what happened. One moment she was crying, telling Ursula to leave her alone, and the next the Ravenclaw's lips were on hers, kissing her clumsily, forcefully, beautifully. Vil stood paralysed with shock as her friend pulled away. The Hufflepuff had known for some time that she liked Ursula more than as a friend, though she hadn't known how to express these feelings. Nobody had ever taught her about love, or relationships, or romance; the small amount she knew had been learned from fiction books, which she often smuggled into her dormitory to read beneath her duvet at night. She'd never cared much for Prince Charming. It was the woman, the girl, Vilhelmine thought of for days after finishing the book. It was Ursula.

Vil nodded, not a single doubt in her mind that Ursula meant what she said. She wasn't going anywhere. And neither was Vil. Even if she'd tried, she'd have come back in a day or so. Lost for words, and still weightless from the last kiss, she leaned in for another, the party dissolving into the distance as the world contracted around their feet. For once in her life, Vil didn't care what anybody thought, or if anybody was watching. Nobody mattered but Ursula.

Before Geo had gotten an answer, Ursula had caught up to the pair and it was quickly apparent she wasn't needed. She watched briefly as the girl walked together, letting her best friends have their time together. She pondered for a moment, turning back to face the party in the hopes that the Ravenclaw would be able to convince her to stay, or at least cheer her up. She looked back to the guests that remained, noticing that Sara had joined them to, to which she gave her a wave. Lifting her dress slightly so that she wouldn't step on it, she walked back over to the campfire, crossing her arms over her chest as she stood beside the others. "Hey guys." she said, nodding to Odette in the process. It wouldn't be long until it was midnight, and with the night growing darker and cooler, the Hufflepuff was glad for the warmth that the fire provided.

Perry his parents had decided to travel over the holiday, so Perry was stuck at school. Somehow they weren't allowed to stay at home alone over the holiday, some kind of supervisor had to be there. Perry thought that was utterly stupid, he needed his phone and his friends. It was almost new year and although Perry knew there was a party, he didn't want to go. He wanted to be at home and wasn't really in the party mood.

The Gryffindor Common room was almost deserted since everyone seemed to go back to their homes. Perry decided that he maybe should celebrate the new year with them and last moment he grabbed his clothes and went outside. It wasn't chilly or anything so he just kept it with a basic t-shirt. He arrived at the cliffs pretty quickly and greeted everyone he knew. Which weren't that many people. He spotted Geo and his cheeks coloured pink. Luckily no one could see it since it was almost dark and the fire didn't illuminate everything. ''Hey you'' Perry muttered happily. He didn't know if he should hug her, so he decided not to.

Geo turned her head in slight surprise as she heard a voice beside her, but a large smile appeared on her face at the sight of her Gryffindor friend. "Perry you came!" she said, quickly pulling him into a hug. The pair had become closer during the last semester, and after thinking he was going to be spending the holidays with his family she was both pleased and shocked to see him here at the party. "What happened to your plans?" she asked him, hoping everything was okay back home for the third year. She was glad for the additional company too. While there were people here that Geo would have loved to talk to, everyone else seemed to be in the middle of a conversation already as she'd been busy with her hosting duties, and linking arms with Perry she guided him over to the refreshment table to hear about the turn of events.

Odette watched her teammate warily, unsure why she was talking to her. Odette didn't need a new friend, and even if she did she probably wouldn't have picked Sara. She sighed deeply. "Sure, you can sit wherever you like." She told the girl as she grabbed another stick with a marshmallow on it to hold it over the fire. There was some commotion with a few other girls in the distance, but she barely paid attention to it. Then their host approached and greeted them, Odette wondered if she remembered her. The last time they had met, she hadn't been very nice, but the girl was nodding at her now. She shrugged in response before averting her gaze, but it didn't take long for Geo to be distracted by some guy anyway.
