Benjamin walked through the walls of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, it was still a fairly new school to him but he had been there for a year so far. He was still finding new surprises as he walked through the halls, corridors, and checked out the classrooms. It was all so fun, finding new places and hiding spots. He needed the hiding spots on the days where he just wanted to be alone, and those days were becoming more and more frequent. He wasn't sure why, maybe it was because he barely had any friends? He had been thinking to himself from time to time that he should put himself out there more, and get some friends with which he could become acquainted and have someone to talk too when he was feeling down. He smiled to himself at the thought of that, he would like to have friends, but, he had been so busy last year.

He made a decision in that moment to make friends with the next person that he saw, no matter what kind of person they were. Even if they were a complete ass, he would make friends with them. Maybe he would even be able to turn them into a good person at the end of it. He smiled to himself, and seeing someone in the distance, he sprinted up to them, "HELLO! My name is Benjamin! You can call me Ben, or Benny!" He said with a bright smile on his face. He wondered what kind of person that they were.

Emma was still taking in her surroundings. During her first year she had explored little and socialised little so everthing and everyone still seemed new to her. Just before classes began for the semester she decided that she would get out and explore the school she would be spending another six years at, at least she hoped as there had already been threats of having her transferred. Emma had grown found of Beauxbatons despite not having explored much of it what she had naturally seen of the school was beautiful and she didn't want to leave for some grotty castle in the middle if the New Zealand wilderness.

As she weaved through the corridors Emma had yet to see another soul until she round the corner and heard someone shouting ftom the other end of the hall. A boy who seemed to be her age came sprinting up the corridor and introduced himself, it was very weird but Emm liked weird. "Hi Benny I'm Emma, actually which do you prefer Ben or Benny because i can go eithet way?" She said with a coy smile as her comment seemed to amuse herself.

Dove's long lush, dyed blonde hair flowed in perfect waves bounced as she walked through the school. Her lips had a light amount of lip gloss on them, making them pinker and looking softer than usual, overall, considering her young age, she didn't wear too much make-up but she was slowly being introduced to that world. She had a light amount of barely noticeable foundation and mascara, just adding a natural look. Beauxbatons was the kind of school where looking your best felt like the perfect thing, it wasn't necessary but within her small group of friends, it was a definite requirement. Look good or just forget about it, none of them were veela's and those were the girls they were competing with, so it made sense. She straightened the skirt of her uniform as she made her way down the steps, the warmth of the summer sun was beating into the school, she couldn't believe it was the new term, this new year, just how incredible was that!

Dove had been walking through the corridors with meeting her friends on her mind, she had news of the holiday to tell them, and she couldn't wait to be able to wow them with her just incredible news, after all, they would always want to her the news of her other friends. She turned a corner and walked straight into two people without meaning to. She had been looking at a little bit of dirt in her nails and suddenly in turning the corner had been faced with two people, whom had she not stopped she would've actually hit in walking into them, "Ooh" she exclaimed with a small gasp with her hint of an english accent, "Excuse me," she told them in french as a way of an apology. These two were in her year she was sure, though she didn't know them that well, "I'm Nicolette," she introduced to them, holding out her hand, but intending to give them the usual french greeting. Nicolette in French was a far simpler word than Dove, and she was glad when she went by it in this place, she brushed strands of her blonde curls from her face and smiled politely at them both, "I should pay more attention,"

Emma was so distracted by the boy in front of her that she didn't see the girl come flying round the cornet and almost knock all three of them onto the floor. Thankfully she was able to stop and compose herself before introducing herself to Emma and Ben. When the girl spoke and introduced herself in french it made Emma remembershe should be doing the same, a whole summer of speaking English at home she forgot this was a french school. "It's ok weren't paying much attention either, I'm Emma and this is. Ben or Benny I'm just trying to determine which onee he prefers," She said with a smile unable to help noticing how attractive the girl who nearly flattened them was, but that was no surprise they were at Beauxbatons after all.

Benjamin smiled as two newcomers approached him, one after the other and introduced themselves; both a guy and a girl, and the girl was unsurprisingly beautiful. He wasn't anywhere near surprised, especially considering the school that they were at. Basically all of the girls here were beautiful and so this meant that it wasn't hard to find any kind of people that could be considered perfect, all of the girls in France had at least a small part of Veela in their blood, which basically assured them a sort of perfection. It wasn't true perfection though, and it was a sort of artificial beauty; which only made it half as interesting. Benjamin wasn't overly interested in those kinds of people, if only for the fact that the rest of the world would be interested in the same person and he wasn't the kind of person who wanted to have to compete with everyone else who was around.

He smiled to himself as they asked which name he preferred, it was a tough choice. He didn't really care what they called him at all, as long as it wasn't completely stupid. "Call me whichever, whatever suits you suits me. Just don't call me something ridiculous!" He said with a chuckle; and he reached out to grab Nicolette's hand and kissing it, he had been raised with manners and he would show them here. "Hello Nicolette." He said with a smile. He looked towards Emma, "Hello Emma!" Offering her the same courtesy, taking her hand and kissing it.

The girl spoke first, so Dove turned her attention to her with a small smile, "So many twists and turns, look away for a moment and suddenly people," she continued in french agreeing with what, Emma was saying, as well as introducing the boy she was with, Ben something. Dove smiled at them both, and had been about to go in for the traditional greeting when the boy, ended up kissing her hand. Dove frowned at him a little, wiping her hand, before then turning to the girl, and rolling her eyes at her about the boy, Ben, such a strangeness. Instead of saying as much, she just smiled at them both, "Pleasure to meet you both," She looked to Emma, and then leaned in and kissed her on the cheeks as was common place in southern France and then doing the same to him, "We are in France, have you forgotten how to greet your fellow students,"

Dove smiled at them both though of course she didn't really mean what she was saying or mean anything bad by it, it was just what she thought. The teen leaned away, wondering what they were doing, she didn't have to be studying right away so there was plenty of time for her to waste. Running a hand through her hair she smiled at them both, "Are you both heading that way?" she asked them, "Or have I interrupted an important meeting?" she looked between them, after all, she had just wanted into them, there was nothing about this situation which she knew about. Since she didn't know them at all, and had just run into them, she might've interrupted Ben's pulling session, for all she knew, that was why it was always important to look where one was going.

Emma was quite shocked when Ben took her hand and kissed it as she had with Nicolette's. Ben had already established himself as a little out there but this was a step too far. When the other girl turned to Emma and rolled her eyes she retured the sentiment. Emma however had a completely different reaction Nicolette's greeting, she blushed as the girl kissed her cheeks which was odd, it was not the first time Emma had experienced the traditional french greeting and it wouldn't be the last so her reaction this time was unusually baffling. "I'm not really heading anywhere I was just walking aroubd getting back to grips with the school, oh no you didn't interrupt anything I only just ran into Ben when you ran into us, apparently your just as bad at bumping into people as I am," She said with a smile. There hadn't been anything to interrupt theybhad only just exchanged names when the other girl had rounded the corner.

Ben just winked at Nicolette as she mentioned that he had seemingly forgotten how to greet students, in truth he had not, in fact it had been drilled into him from a young age the correct way for them to greet others, but he didn't care much for tradition and he was the kind of person who always rathered to be different and just greet people however he felt like doing so at the time. He hoped that he had not offended her in any way, that hadn't been his attention at all. "Maybe I just like to be different." He said with a grin on his face; and it was the truth, just because everyone else did something one way, why couldn't he do it another way?

Ben chuckled at the two of them, they both seemed to share the same bumpy personality as he did, he always ended up bumping into other people and he had a habit of running first and asking questions later; but that wasn't always a bad thing, it just meant that he was more prone to accidents some of the time. "We all must have done the same thing! I thought I had nearly run into you." He said with a chuckle, even if he hadn't it was a happy coincidence. He had the possibility to make two new friends here, and that was cool enough to think about.

Dove had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at him when he told her that he liked to be different, even if it was true it was such a terrible thing to say, everyone wanted to be different, fewer would rather blend into a crowd than stand out, she for instance loved standing out, she stood out easily, her curly blonde hair, and light amounts of make up helped Dove stand out against people. She wasn't maybe as naturally alluring as the veela's but she felt she could give a lot of them a run for their money if given the opportunity. Nicolette looked at the girl, Emma as she began explaining what had happened which had brought her to be stood where she was currently stood now, it seemed like an odd amount of just happened to be there from the three of them, clearly the fates had decided that they three must meet. She grinned at them both, "It must be fated that we become friends," she told them with a bright smile.

The girl wasn't religious, but to a certain degree she believed in things being fated, and this just felt like one of those situations. She couldn't help but smile brightly at them both, they should all be friends that much was for sure, "Well then, walk with me," she told them both, sparing a small smile for each, but then walking forward, she needed to find out more about the two of them, become better friends with them, that was what needed to happen really, "What year are you both?" she asked, walking backwards as she asked this to look at them both, adjusting her skirt slight as she did so, "I don't think you and I are in the same year, I don't know about you," she pointed at Emma first, and then Ben, "Do you like Beauxbatons?" she asked them both grinning happily, since she loved the school.

Emma wasn't impressed by Ben's response, he came across as someone who wanted to be different for the sake of being different. Then again wasn't everyone different by virtue of being themselves? Emma wasn't sure what she thought about Ben, he was definitely an odd guy but she would give him a chance as she didn't have many friends. Nicolette seemed like she would be easier to get along with and she seemed to think they were fated to become friends, Emma wasn't a big believer in fate but she was happy to go along with it if it meant her making two new friends. Nicolette suggested they walk with her so Emma began to do just that, the other girl seemed keen to get to know Emma and Ben and proceeded to ask them questions as they walked. "I'm second year so I guess your not that," She smiled, Nicolette certainly didn't look like she was a second year. "I do like it here, actually I'm relieved to still be here, during the summer my Dad was pressuring my Mum to have me transferred to Hogwarts, I reckon she came pretty close to caving so I'm really glad to still be here," Emma sighed as she brushed her hand through her hair. With her parents no longer together they weren't shy about their different views on where Emma should be educated. Her mother wanted her where she was like all the woman on her side of the family. Her father on the other hand didn't have as much tradition since his parents were both muggle born but he wanted her at Hogwarts New Zealand where he went and he seemed eager to have her graduate from his alma mater.

Ben could tell that the other two weren't necessarily impressed with him as a person, and he didn't really care about that. He was who he was, and he wasn't trying to impress anyone truth be told. He just wanted to make friends, and he seemed like he had already secured their friendship in one way or another. He just smiled to himself at the thought of this, he was happy that he had made friends. He thought about what Nicolette said, he wasn't sure if he believed in fate or anything like that. Life was life, and he doubted that there was some kind of higher power in the world which made chose their actions for them. It was a ludicrous idea and it wasn't an idea that he was anywhere near willing to commit himself too.

He just rolled his eyes. "Fate is a ridiculous idea." He said with a hint of a smile, he didn't agree that there was any kind of thing like that, and he wouldn't pretend to believe in it for the sake of a friendship. He would rather be honest to people then pretend to lie to them, that was the kind of person that he was. He smiled at them, though, "Though I'm happy we ran into each other." He said with a chuckle. He thought about her next question, he didn't know if he did like it here or not. It was a nice school, and he enjoyed being here, but it was a bit lonely and it was smaller then schools like Hogwarts, his brother went there and he said it was huge. "Yeah, it's nice here, a little lonely though."

The young girl didn't care if neither of them didn't believe in the nature of fate, she had never been bothered by it, "It has been decided," she told them both with a happy grin, knowing that it was just going to be her who believed it to be even possibly true, it wouldn't change how she acted, it just occasionally meant that she thought that sometimes some things were supposed to happen like they did. She had never wanted to go to any other school, unlike her sister who had gone to many a school, she had always been content with just going to the one, she liked that the girl was in the year below her, and the boy was in her year, so she had guessed correctly for them both, which wasn't a particularly difficult thing for her to do, but she liked being able to do it.

At Emma's words she just shook her head, "Beauxbatons is the best school," she was so certain of this and it was just so clear in her voice, she believed wholeheartedly that this was the best school, she liked it because you could make an effort, everyone was pretty and that was always good. She liked all the little aspects of the school, and couldn't understand why anyone's parents would want them to go anywhere but this school. She then looked at the boy who said the school was lonely and shook her head at the two of them, "There is never a lonely moment at Beauxbatons, every day should be treated like Paris fashion week," she told them, "Walk as if you are a model, dress like you have to impress everyone, be bold like the designers," she told them with a small nod, running a hand through her long blonde hair as she said this, "I will introduce you both to my friends, it'll be better that way!"

Nicolette was clearly set on her idea that they had all met because of fate and there was clearly no changing her mind. Emma was happy to let her think whatever she wanted, her social life in her first her had been nonexistent so is a third year wanted to believe they had met through fate and now wanted to introduce her to her friends then she was going to keep her mouth shut and let things run there course. The girl went on to tell them that she thought Beauxbatons was the best school, Emma wasn't sure about that but she sure didn't want to leave it, she had only been at the school for one year and was finally making some ingrounds in terms of a social life and so didn't want to be plucked out and dropped into a new school with new people where she would have to adapt and make new friends over again. She would never forgive her father if he transferred her and she would never forgive her mother if she let him.

Emma listened intently to the girl as she talked about Beauxbatons and how best to act at the school. It all made sense but it made Emma nervous. She didn't have the confidence of a model, her wardrobe probably wouldn't impress the drop dead gorgeous part-velas that populated the school. As much as she loved the school she always felt second best compared to some of the girls that walked up and down the halls. "I don't know about that, I don't exactly have that kind of confidence, although I do love Paris fashion week," She smiled awkwardly.
