Wes was not a huge fan of halloween. He didn't hate it, but he also found the entire idea a little bit boring. This being said, it was just a little huge where he was from. No matter which city he was in during Halloween, it was always a very big event during which he was very happy to say that he only ever went to the organised events. He had never really been trick or treating. All in all, he just liked a more organised way about it. It was simpler, and he just found it easier. Most of the time he didn't actually dress up, he put on a pair of fake fangs, a little bit of fake blood and a fake knife. All in all, just a night for him to pretend that he was some kind of vampire. He didn't try hard, but he did still try. He knew that out of all the people there he would've put in the least amount of effort, but it was still better than what he had been doing before. Some years he didn't even bother with what he had now. But some part of the young Slytherin realised that he would be the least dressed up of all the people at this school. It was odd to him, that witches and wizards would love a festival like that so much, even if it lay grounded in little bits of magical fact. It was just another incredibly fabricated holiday, and a part of Wes just knew that no matter how much he tried, it would still be incredibly boring. He needed something to do that would really liven things up a bit. But, Wes had yet to meet someone willing to do such a thing with him. There was Rose, but there was a slight difference between dancing crazy alone. And what he was in fact even remotely thinking of doing. The tricks of Halloween.
Despite this, he was sure that no matter what someone would see eye to eye with him. The young Slytherin entered the hall and looked around. With his dark jeans and lightly coloured top, he really was the least dressed up of the lot. Even some of the professors appeared to be in a little but of costume. Even at his last school, that had been unheard of. They were professors, and they did not dress up. Althought, he'd never spent the night of Halloween at his school in L.A., so he didn't know about them. Wes entered the hall and walked around slowly. He was trying to decide what to do. How to go about it. What people would be willing to join him. Eventually once Wes had circled around twice he stopped. Letting his eyes take in what was in front of him. This was boring, he'd been to better funerals than this. It wasn't interesting and there was nothing happening besides some polite eating. It was stupid. People at Hogwarts clearly, in his eyes, had no idea how to actually have fun. They didn't know. He wanted to do something. Something more or less shocking. Something people would not actually be expecting. It would be fairly hard, but he was willing to go the extra mile.
