Jerara liked the halloween feast, even though this year he hadn't even had time to get a costume. With all the work that he'd been doing over the last few weeks with classes but he wanted to go. He liked the celebration and despite not having anything to wear he knew that it would still be fun. He might run into Ellie, or he might run into Tristan which would be equally as fun as anything else. The boy was feeling quite excited to be at it, he was looking for any reason to do something fun at it. He was wearing his normal muggle clothes looking a little out of place as the others in the room were in the many costumes that they'd all picked. He smiled to himself, pleased to be at it. he made his way to the snack table and took a handful of sweets, popping each in his mouth and chewing happily as he glanced about the room. He was really happy to have decided to come, he was getting used to the work load, but he was happy with that, but he hadn't had time to come up with something to wear. Jerara was now mostly used to it, so he could spare the time for this, and he was going to have fun. Plus, he would've come just at the very least to eat some of the halloween goodies.

Rose always looked forward to the Halloween Feast each year, though in the same manner she looked forward to all of the feasts throughout the semesters. Prior to attending the school, the girl had never been too invested in Halloween. It simply wasn't as big of a deal in the terms of a holiday in Australia or New Zealand as it was in places like America. Most homes in her street had never quite gone through the trouble of decorating their lawns with spooky themes, and the few times she had attempted to trick or treat, it never yielded much in terms of candy. For a lot of people it was just another day, and she'd accepted that. Now, at Hogwarts, it was an entirely different story. The holiday had magical history and meaning, and Rose enjoyed the atmosphere, food and events that came with it.

Dressed in a "devils" outfit, a ruffled red dress and cheap plastic horns glued to a headband, with some feathery black wings to complete it, Rose stepped into the Great Hall and had joined the others in listening to the Headmistress introduce the feast, before being allowed to do their own thing. The Ravenclaw girl didn't know where to start. There was so much to do, especially compared to her earlier years at the school. Wandering around the hall for a minute, she eventually gravitated toward the snack table, like many of the students, though she wasn't feeling particularly hungry. It was sort of just somewhere to stand, while she kept an eye out for anyone she knew, but with so many masks and face-paint, it was difficult to tell who most people were. The only recognisable face was one of a boy also at the table whom she barely knew, but had seen around the common room from time to time. Apparently, he thought his casualwear was appropriate Halloween attire, which contributed to the fact he was the most easily recognisable. Like herself, he didn't seem to be with anyone he knew, and she felt the need to make conversation until she ran into someone else. "Hey! Ravenclaw, right? Not feeling into the spirit of Halloween?" She asked curiously, referencing his lack of an outfit. Unless of course, he thought muggles were scary, though it didn't come across as likely.
