red rose for @Amortentia Layton

"Hey, so, like," Audrey called as she approached her classmate, figuring she might find her out around the gardens and greenhouses since that seemed to be kind of her thing. It wasn't like she was close to Amortentia. She'd kind of forgotten that was her name since everyone had called her Ten for so long. But she was kind of inseperable with Veronica, and Audrey wouldn't have called Veronica a friend especially since she hated Teddy. Although now she kind of acted like she didn't, and Audrey didn't know what to think about either of these Gryffindor girls. She didn't know them well before and she knew them even less now. Which was mostly a lack of trying on her part, in all fairness. "Do you still even go by Ten, or is it like expressly Amortentia now? Like a turning seventeen and revamping your image thing? Hey, I respect it, though I was just going for a tattoo, myself. Also, rose delivery." She fished around in the basket she had to find the red rose with the correct note, offering it forward with a flourish. "Ta-daaa."

Will you be my Valentine(s date)? V

Ten was running an experiment, one that she hoped would be ground breaking when it came to plant care. She was so focused that she didn't even realise she'd been approached until she heard the voice. Her head shot up to see Teddy's best friend, and while she didn't really know the girl very well at all, she had no qualms against her either.

The redhead lowered her eyes again as Audrey questioned her name. It was fair, she supposed, although it was fair from simple to answer. Ten said nothing until the Ravenclaw offered her a red rose, and her heart raced in her chest. It had to be from Veronica, surely. She wondered whether Veronica would ask her the same thing she'd asked her in the rose of her own. Taking the rose, she placed it down gently on the bench beside her with a murmured thanks, trying to still the adrenaline pumping around her body. Perhaps she didn't want to read it yet, not in front of Audrey. "Do you have both your parents?" she suddenly asked the prefect, finally meeting her eyes. If she wanted to know, she'd tell her. She wasn't going to hide anything and besides, maybe it would help her if she finally said it out loud.
