Grand Dinner

Jon had follow the rest of the lot, and had sat next to Jay. Getting into a conversation with his brother about quiddtich, he started to fill his plate naturally all ready digging in. "Man this is good!" he said as he chow down, his plate almost pill up. He normally didn't eat this much, but his father had always cooked well, his favourite was his potatoes salad. As he was about to get a french roll, he turn his head looking up as he listen to his father announcement. Once he was done, he burst into cheer, "Congrats!" he smiled at his father and Lila. "So instead of Lila now will I be calling you mum now?" he asked in a joking way enjoying the rest of meal just chatting.

Jay had follow his brother as well, already filling up his plate. He was hungry anyways, he remember skipping lunch because of this dinner. He knew his father was the one preparing the dinner today, home cooked meal by your parents were always the best especially in the holidays. He started talking to Ben, and Jon about quiddtich, when his father had stood to get everyone attention. "No ways!" Jay said excited couldn't believe the news, he had his suspicious but wasn't positive about them. He to continue to eat and conversate, even stood up to give his dad a pat on the back happy that it finally happen after suffering from such a lost.

Lila enjoyed the meal, taking a bit of everything. She loved the Lazania with the heavy cheese topping. She loved anything with cheese but such good 'man' made food she never had. Roswalld was a very good cook indeed. As she ate her dessert which was chocolate pudding, one of her absolute favorite Roswalld got to his feet to make the big announcement. She smiled boardly as he said it. Kissing him back she grinned at the kids.

"You can call me if you want" she said with a grin beaming at Jon. Wrapping her arms around Roswalld she gave him a hug as she whispered in her ear "You sure know how to make your speech". It was true that the way Roswalld had said it including all the names of their kids, including Alex, it had been great.

Benjamin heard Kasey tell him about a twisting ankle and some help from a classmate or something. It didn't make any sense to him however he did not press the matter any further. Kasey might burst into tears if she thought he was doubting her of being with someone which he would never want. After enjoying the dinner to his fullest ability and chatting with the guys about Qudditch he watched Roswalld stand.

As Ben had been expecting, the news was finally broken and Ben raised a toast to Roswalld and Lila. "A toast to Lila and Roswalld for a happy married life" he said grinning at the rest. Well, someone had to do it and him being the eldest of all was privileged to see both the families unite and Lila and Roswalld be so happy.

Roswald heard Lila whispers as she hugged him. "Well I wanted everyone to be recognise in their greatest accomplish." he grin as he held her hand were the ring was noticeable enough, to eveyone could see. He held her hand as they sat back down, eveyone still chatting, couldn't help but not let go. Roswald looked up after eating a portion of rice and season chicken when he heard Ben cheer. "Thank you Ben." he said now to his soon to be step son. "Now all we have to worry about is setting the date." he said looking at Lila, wondering if she had an idea when they well finally tie the knott.

"Thats very sweet of you" she said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Lila smiled as Ben raised a toast to them. "Cheers" she said and took a sip of her pumpkin juice. As Roswalld asked when they could fix the date, she thought for a bit."How about in the Winter Holidays. The kids will be here and we can arrange a leave from the Ministry" she suggested.

Roswald smiled as he felt her tender kiss press against his umbre complexion. He never would get use to that, each kiss no matter where, always felt like a shocking sensation increasing his heart rate, he wonderd as he age would it ever stop just for her? No even when he's past time, he would love Lila even more, she was everything to him, his bedroom eyes held the truth.

Once everyone was done for, Maddiie, Kasey and Alex soon departed from the family. They had to go back to school since their vacation was over, the boys had a little extra times seeing as they were in no rush to get back to Drumstrang. Bringing the topic up again about the dates of the wedding, Lila and Roswald were finally alone at last in the front porch. The summers air, calm a bit breezy, not so humid at all. "Sure a winter wonderland sounds perfect, I'm assuming Kasey would be bridesmaid." he smiled holding a glass of white wine. "Maybe you, Kasey and Maddiie should dress shop soon or.." he stop to think only to continue. "...if you like just show them a few sample catalogues, to make it easier on you all." he suggested it knowing how hecked wedding planning could be.
