Rune Szekeres wore a neat tuxedo as he got ready for the first graduation of Hogwarts New Zealand. He had not ever been even close to the school, however this would be a lot better than going to work at the Ministry early in the morning. After his morning run, he had showered and smelt of nice manly soap and he was dressed within an instant. He combed his hair and his gray eyes smiled at the reflection. His pearly whites were brushed and his breath smelt of light spearmint. For a wizard, he lived a calm and almost muggle life. Rune was also looking rather good for someone that he had met recently that was his childhood sweetheart back in the childhood days. She was a professor as well, and he was hoping to impress her and surprise her though he was going to the graduation thanks to his good friend Jonathan. Rune was finished getting ready and he was well on his way to see the first Graduation yet the fourth for the school as a whole. Rune was relieved that he had sent in a notice for work to attend this event. The Invisibility Task Force Official walked down the harbor and entered the school grounds for the first time.

Enterting the Great hall, Rune was mighty impressed with the way everything was set up and it brought back memories of his own graduation. He was a Ravenclaw graduate and proud of it. He smiled as he went to the guests and where Jonathan was sitting and he took a seat. He greeted him with a smile and he glanced around for that crush of his. Rune would be keeping an eye out for her. After all, she was the reason why his life suddenly got better tenfold. He was having a rough time with the death of his brother but he was learning to smile and laugh now and it was good for his heart and mind. He gazed up to see the graduation as it started and soon, the speeches were well along their way. He heard both Head Boy and Head Girl speak and it brought a light smile to his face as he saw that everyone that was graduating today was going out into the real world. Rune would be honored to be working with some, working for others, and maybe even being healed if something tragic were to happen to him. Rune was polite and silent during the entire session and he would be honored to see the graduation again and again. It was a touching moment, and the headmistress seemed touched as well. All of them were her babies, she had taught them so much growing up. Rune just hoped that he would soon have a child of his own, and have them graduate. He felt like a stranger here, but the atmosphere was much more enlightening. He much preferred to be here other than the Ministry. The school was a much better place in his opinion. The graduation was soon over, and each one had gotten their diplomas, they were well on their way to adulthood.

Cyndi Weasley didn't have very far to travel to reach the Great Hall where the graduation would be held, but as she made her way downstairs, she was transported back in time to her very own graduation only a few years before. She could easily recall when her own graduation day when she and her classmates had descended the stairs to celebrate the end of their own school careers, so she knew exactly how excited and nervous this year's class must be feeling. She had yet to miss a graduation at the school and had been able to witness each of her dorm four girls graduate. Today would be Andromeda's day and even though the two women hadn't spoken in a year, Cyndi was still looking forward to seeing her face as she crossed the stage. She wondered what would happen to this class of students. In her class, she only kept in touch with one other, Estrella. Jaken was no longer alive, which saddened Cyndi greatly, and the others had simply disappeared. She hoped that this group would remain together.

Entering the hall, Cyndi took a seat towards the back even though she'd arrived early. She knew that both Kiera and Kat's families would be here because they both had children graduating today, so she looked around to see if her friends had also decided to attend. As the graduation began, Cyndi listened to the headboy and girl's speeches realizing that this would be the one of the last group of graduates who she knew as classmates rather than as students. She remembered how great Mike was on the quidditch field and what a nice guy he was, and she also remembered how friendly and kind Zazuka was. Cyndi clapped, a smile crossing her face when both finished their speeches and again as the graduates took to the stage to cross and received their diplomas.

Rais Hussain was rather well dressed tonight, dressed to impress. He was a bit surprised at to why he thought he wanted to dress to impress. When he was single, he usually thought that way, but now he was engaged, to the love of his life, Vicky. He put his coat on and tied his shoes together. Standing in front of the mirror, looking at himself, adjusting his tie and putting on his coat. He was smiling as he looked at the mirror, all dressed and ready to go. One thing kept bugging him though. He wished that Vicky was here to dress him, put his coat on and what not. That would have really made Rais far more happier and more willing to be part of this event, not that he doesn't want to be part of it, he truly does, but he just wished that Vicky was here.

Taking his wand out and flicking it, the room was starting to clean up by itself and soon, everything was all tidy and clean. Closing the button's of his coat, he walked out the door and started to walk towards the great hall. While he was walking, he saw many student's starring at him, in a positive way, smiling at him and Rais returned the favor by smiling back. Some student's even came up to him a greeted him, which made Rais feel all the better about himself. He fixed the position of his coat and walked inside the great hall with a smile on his face, noticing that not many people were there yet and that there were a few people he recognized, most of them being Professors. He went to the row's where some of the professor's were sitting at and sat down with a smile on his face as he greeted all of them.

Evie entered the hall, quietly. She had always enjoyed graduations for the future hopes and dreams of the students always seem to shine the brightest when they first touched their diploma. It was something she wished she could have experienced for herself, but alas her parents had not allowed her to attend any magical school. She would be content living her dreams through her students, watching them go out in the world and make something of themselves was one of her favorite things. She smiled at everyone in the hall, and went to take her usual spot by Cyndi.

She remembered the first year she had attended the graduation. Cyndi and her had a nice chat, and had gotten along splendidly. "Hello, Professor Weasley." Evie greeted a bit formally.

With all that's going on back in Ministry, Roswald had been thankful enough to at least get one day of the week to see Jake graduate finally from school. Something he wasn't so sure it would happen, with all that's been happening for the past few years, with Jake wanting to drop out and move with his grandfather two years ago. Roswald just glad he made it and at that, two teams bidding for his kinda talent in the international qudditch team. Roswald truly could say he's proud of Jake, with his wife Lila, he attended the ceremony wearing casual dress up clothing, nothing to fancy to be here. He sat holding her hand, smiling while little Liam sat on Lila's lap, clapping whenever he felt like it. Making Roswald chuckle, now all he had to do was wait and see Liam graduate from school. But of course that's years from now, Roswald hope he would follow his older siblings footsteps and graduate just the same.

It had been two years since Mallory had last seen Andrew and she knew they were not on taking basis and Andrew was angry with her however she had made her way to Hogwarts to see her adoptive son graduate. Salem would have been a proud mother if she would have been alive today to see her son graduate but Mallory was going to do that role for her best friend. She felt guilty for hiding from Andrew his father's whereabouts but she had promised Salem secrecy of it and therefore she had not spoken of it.

Mallory was well aware of Andrew being in love with Adira Ater and she hoped to see the girl grown up after two years. It had been a long time and a hard journey but Mallory's work was finally over now that Andrew had completed his studies and was an adult. She would love him and wanted him happy whether he spoke to her or not and her presence in this graduation was a way of showing it. She smiled happily and clapped as all the seventh years graduated, she remembered her own days, graduating with Salem. She waited in the crowd wondering if Andrew would come meet her, if not she would leave in a few minutes.

Lila was smiling to be here in Hogwarts once again after a year to see Jake graduate. She was happy that Roswald had finally got some time off this week and they were here as a family with Liam. She clapped sitting in the audience wearing a blue dress and having dressed Liam in same shade of blue clothing. She had become a mother again a year ago and although she was aging she wouldn't let that effect her small little angle. "Your big bro, clap Liam" she said as she made Liam clap as Jake walked forward to the stage. "We are such proud parents" she said with a smile as she watched her husband clap.

Patricia was proud to be one of the Prefects of Hogwarts New Zealand today of all days as the Prefects had been given special permission to attend the Graduation of the current seventh years. It was the first time it was allowed and she felt honoured to be one of the first Prefects allowed in on the Graduation without an invitation from one of the Graduates. Instead of opting for a dress like the rest of the females in attendance seemed to be wearing Patricia opted for a simple blue dressy top and plain black trousers and heels, of course she continued to wear the necklace that he brother had gotten her before his death not so long ago, she wore it every day in his memory. Sitting beside one of her best friends, Becky Gale whom had been invited by her boyfriend, Stephen Duquette; Patricia watched the Graduation. It was all so lovely and very emotional; she couldn’t comprehend how the seventh years must be feeling. Then it dawned on her, that would be here next year, receiving her diploma and officially leaving Hogwarts New Zealand, it would be a sad time she knew and she probably would cry; it was hard to think that seven years really flew that quickly. She listened to Mike and Zazukas speeches’ and felt tears starting to well up just a bit but she held them back. When the Graduates collected their diplomas Patricia clapped along with everyone else and got up off her seat to go finds her friends who would be leaving her now for bigger and better things.

Jonathan was dawned in his finest of robes today, only the kind that should be worn in such a special day as today. Graduation was always a hectic day, full of different emotions and subsequently the day that marked another set of students getting ready to leave the school and go out of the big bad World of adulthood. Sitting with the rest of the Professors Jonathan watched the Head Boy and Head Girl, a Ravenclaw – one of his own, make their speeches, he sat with a small smile on his face. Watching each of the seventh years make their way up to the podium and collect their diplomas he thought of his days of school and especially the day of his own Graduation, it seemed so long ago but he remembered it quite well. No sooner had the ceremony began did it end and Jonathan clapped along with the rest of the crowd. Getting up of his seat he made his way around the crowd, personally congratulating some of Graduates as he walked around. Finally finding the person he was hoping to find he walked up with a tired smile on his face, the year was almost over and he was looking forward to the break. “So you found the place alright?” he said with a laugh to Rune.

Since Theodore was was a Prefect he and all the other Prefects had been given special permission to attend the Graduation of the current seventh years. It was something new to him but he didn't mind because he had never been to one of these things before. And next year it would be his turn to be up there and receiving his diploma and Graduating out into the world. So he would take this to be an Honor. Theodore entered the Great Hall wearing some decent looking dress clothes and sat into a random empty seat that wasn't next to anyone in particular but wasn't out of the Crowd either. He probably would have been completely alone is it wasn't for his aunt who was a Professor here sitting down next to him. He smiled at her softly before he focused his attention onto the Ceremony. As he listened to the Head Boy and Head Girl do their speeches he sort of wondered if it was hard for them to come up with a good speech to say in front of all their classmates. It was honor enough to be a Prefect but to get the Status that those two had. Their parents must have been so proud of them. Even though it made some people emotional, it didn't phase Theodore as much because he didn't exactly know anyone here. Maybe when it was his turn to be up there and everything he would be more touched. It was a nice Ceremony though, all of them should be proud for making it that far. When the Graduates collected their diplomas, Theodore clapped along with the others. When it was all done and over with Theodore continued to sit next to his aunt, not sure if he should say or do anything. Realization was just hitting him that soon he would be a Seventh Year.

Effie Snow walked into Great wearing a brand new dress that she had purchased the other day. Today was the day the current Seventh Years were Graduating and heading off into the World. It felt like just yesterday that she was in their shoes, sitting there waiting to receive her diploma. Now that she looked back on it she sort of missed those days when she was back in school, had a bunch of friends, and was voted most Congenial in Superlatives every year she was in the running for for it. The blonde looked around the Great Hall carefully with her different colored eyes. When she spotted Rune she smiled softly and waved at him hoping he would see her before she walked over and sat next to her Nephew Theodore. She was so happy that her and Rune had caught up with one another the other day and she would have sat next to him but she saw Theodore alone and once again didn't want to intrude in on Rune's life. As the Ceremony went on and the Head Boy and Head Girl Made their Speeches Effie couldn't help but be touched and will herself not to cry. Everytime a Hufflepuff received their diploma and such she always made sure to clap the loudest for them. The whole thing was beautiful and once it was done Effie couldn't help but wipe a single tear from her blue eye before she clapped for them all. She was so proud of them. After that Effie ruffled Theodore's hair and made her way out of her seat to walk around. Maybe she would go over and talk to Rune, maybe not. She didn't know.

Kat walked through the doors of the Great Hall for the first time in what seemed like ages when in reality it had only been a year. She couldn't believe how much she had missed this place...this school. Through all the good and the bad Kat wouldn't have changed her time at Hogwarts. With her arm linked with her father's she proceeded further into the large room she saw one familiar face, but there wasn't a seat around her anywhere so she'd have to wait until the ceremony was over before going to talk to Cyndi. The former Gryffindor finally found two empty seats and motioned her dad in that direction.

Not too long after having taken their seats the graduation began. Kat beamed as Mike delivered his speech. She was so proud of her former house member and teammate. Once Zazuka had given her speech and Headmistress Zhefarovich had spoken once more the graduates walked the stage to receive their diplomas. Of course when Serena walked Kat stood and yelled loudly, "YES!! THAT'S MY SISTER!" She saw her sister's face redden significantly which just made her chuckle. She was so proud of her little sister. Looking up at her father she saw that he was a little watery eyed so she leaned over and whispered, "Last Gryffindor to leave the nest daddy. What will you and mum do now?"

Steven Vanderhol couldn't decide whether to grin like a blooming idiot or sob like an infant. Today his baby was graduating. He'd missed Kat's graduation the year prior due to his brother having been ill so he was glad that he'd been able to make it to Serena's. His wife was unable to make it this year due to scheduling conflicts at work so he was playing both mother and father today.

He entered the Great Hall of the school with his eldest daughter and looked around while she found them seats. The ceremony began not too long after they had sat down and Steven listened intently as the speeches were delivered by the Head Boy and Girl followed by the headmistress. He clapped for each of the graduates as they walked the stage, but clapped harder and louder when his Serena took the stage. Kat of course made it very well known that she was proud of her sister in her very own special way. The man just shook his head and laughed. He watched as Serena took her diploma from the headmistress and he felt himself get misty eyed. He heard the words that Kat whispered to him and he thought for a moment. His blonde haired, brown eyed daughter was the final Gyffindor to leave the nest. What would he and Cystine do now?

As he stepped in through the doors of the school, Sebastian Rossi took a good look around as it was the first time he'd ever been inside. The school didn't have the same feel as his, but it looked like a nice place to attend. It was large yet welcoming and as Sebastian followed the other guests towards what he assumed was the Great Hall, Sebastian wasn't feeling too awkward being in another school. His own graduation over and done with only two days before, Sebastian was ready to sit and observe another. As he took the first empty seat he came upon, Sebastian slid a box under his seat and hoped he wouldn't forget it at the end. The graduation was much like his own except the entire thing took place in English rather than French. As Amzurah crossed the stage, Sebastian clapped his hands enthusiastically, and when he saw a woman clapping even harder than he was, he knew it had to be her mother. He was surprised to discover as the graduation went on that he knew one other student, Kathryn Kingsley. He'd forgotten that she went there. After he clapped for her, Sebastian sat and patiently waited for the ceremony to finish so he could go greet Amzurah. It had been a long time since he'd seen her last, and she was absolutely right about two things. The dragon pox hadn't left a mark on her and she definitely did clean up nice.

Kiera Potter walked into the Great Hall for the second time since she had graduated. She was dressed in a beautiful pink dress and a jacket. Naturally, she wore heels to increase her height. She had her hand firmly in James' hand since Kat had invited them both along with Kiera's brother who followed behind James and Kiera. The petite brunette smiled at her husband and her brother as she scanned the room for Cyndi, spotting her not too far away. She had saved seats for them all. Kiera made her way over, sitting down on one side of Cyndi with James on the other. She gave her best friend a hug. "Last dorm room four girl to graduate this year." she said with a smile. Kiera hadn't spoken to Andy in a while but she knew Kat would be here. She would have to snag them all at least to get one hug in.

Soon, the ceremony began. This was the fourth graduation that she had attending including her own. She had yet to miss one at the school. The brunette smiled up at Mike as he gave his speech. He was her friend and teammate. Kiera laughed as she heard Kat's outrageous applause for her younger sister. Kiera shook her head, not wanting to embarass her own sister like this. However, she did clap rather loudly when she saw her redhaired sister practically dance across the stage. A beam shone on Kiera's face with the pride that was swelling in her heart.

Cameron Kingsley was looking forward to seeing that his girlfriend at the Graduation ceremony. It had been several weeks since he had last seen her. She had been busy with all her school things. He had met Kiera and James at their New Zealand house for lunch before they all traveled to the school together. Cameron spotted Cyndi quickly, grinning widely at her. He went swiftly to her, gathering her up in his arms. He gave her a kiss on the lips before sitting down on the side Kiera didnt occupy. He watched as the graduation ceremony unfolded, clapping loudly as Katheryn walked across the stage.

Kamaria Zhefarovich had picked the perfect outfit, and thought that she looked perfect for the one that she was wanting to see, the one that she was invited by. Danny Boyd. Her heart fluttered at the thought of him, and she made her way down to the Great Hall and when she entered, she went to an empty seat somewhat close to her uncles. Kara folded her legs at the ankle, keeping her legs closed and she placed her hands upon her lap. Her liquid silver eyes lit up with happiness as she saw the one that held her heart and soul but was a little too old to claim him just yet received his diploma. Kara exhaled and she beamed. She was so proud of him. She wanted to leap out and scream out that she loved him, but she couldn't bring herself to embarrass them both even if it would just make Kalif and Prodan confused. They were other factors in this as well. They were present and knew Axel rather well.

Oh I hope that they leave soon that I can actually speak to Danny without their eyes, thought Kara. Once everyone had received their diploma, Kara rose to her feet and she clapped, though she was only clapping for one. Danny was the one that she adored and she could not be any prouder of him. She had promised that she would be here today and she had yet to break her promise. Next year, she would be a fourth year, and then three more after that. She just wondered how long would it be until she and Danny could finally be together. Well, she needed to grow some backbone and actually ask her father for permission. That is, if she were able to ask Danny to come over for the holidays.

To say that being invited to Jacob's graduation came as a shock, would only be telling the truth. After the kiss they shared at the Yule Ball and the fight that followed, Jessica was surprised that Jake was still acknowledging her as a friend never mind inviting her to his graduation ceremony. The memory of that fight had since lingered in her mind but like a spider web it continued to spread into something much bigger than it was originally. She never thought of herself as a one of those girls who had a knack for over-analysing every small detail, sure it was only up until recently that Jessica stopped considering herself 'one of the boys'. The simple reason for that was because Jessica did in fact have feelings for her friend. Her best friend. Someone who she completely shut out of her life for the past five months, simply because she hoped that those feelings would pass and things would just return to their normal state.

Never having attended one of these type of things, Jessica was rather weary of the dress code. She opted for a more casual attire only to find that upon walking into the Great Hall that she was amongst guests in their finest outfits. Jess pulled awkwardly at her oversized shirt before slipping into one of the back rows. After tripping over the leg of an old man, stepping on the toes of a young boy, she stumbled into a seat and slouched down, avoiding the glares from the row in front of her. Luckily, the ceremony began and any attention on her was now focused to the stage. During the period of time where the speeches were being made, waffling on about all sorts of pointless crap, Jessica plaited the loose threads hanging from her shirt out of sheer boredom of it all. Maybe this is the reason why Jake invited me, came her sarcastic thoughts and it was only when Jacob's name was called out loudly, that sent her instantly sitting upright, craning her neck for a look at her best friend.

She didn't bring herself to clap or cheer, nor did her eyes fill up with tears like many of the other guests. She simply watched her friend as he made his way up to the podium. He looked more handsome than ever as he accepted his diploma, having suited up nicely. Her eyes continued to follow him as he walked off the stage and returned to his seat, all the while realising how much she missed him. How much she missed his smile, his laugh, his jokes, his hug. She also began to realise what a complete and utter douche she was for not having spoken to the boy since January. Her heart longed for a miracle that would make everything return back to normal, but it was a miracle that would be needed, seeing as Jessica's stomach had not untangled itself from it's uncomfortable knot, since his name echoed through the silent hall.

Harrison had entered it would seem later than everyone else and therefore stayed cloistered at the very back in the hopes of not being noticed. He smiled instantly though when he saw his Rena at the front. She looked adorable as ever and he felt his insides almost quiver. Turning his head a moment he spotted her sister and father and sank a little lower into his seat. The man and himself just did not get on for some reason and it irked him greatly, Harrison after all had only the best of intentions towards the mans daughter. The head boy got up to say his speech and Harrison wondered at it being so short, he presumed the head girl would probably have the big long one. Girls usually did go on and on and on but she didn't say anything at all and he wondered at this too.

He uncrossed his arms from over his chest and began to clap for the students that rose to accept their scrolls and when it came to Rena's turn he stood up, filled with pride and cheered heartily for her. Clapping more loudly than anyone else and whistling a little. Sitting down again he knew he should have been sitting here with Essie or Maeve or even the other two guys but Andromeda had not returned to the school after the last Brightstone weekend and rumours were circulating fast regarding it. Some suggestions were that the werewolf attack of that night was indeed her but he would not believe it, others said that she herself had been attacked possibly elsewhere by the rogue werewolf. Whatever had happened, Andromeda had not turned up yet and everyone was concerned.
