Graduation Ceremony: Spectators and Guests

Today marked the change of a number of things, and Geo wasn't entirely sure if she was ready. As she listened to her friends give the last speeches she would hear at this school, she did her best to swipe away at a couple of tears before they were spotted by everyone else. It was the end of an era and one that the prefect wasn't going to forget as time went on. She was so proud of Flavio especially, she'd seen how hard her best friend worked and only wanted to best for him. With the rest of their lives ahead of them, Geo was quietly terrified of what was going to happen next, but just as when she'd joined the school, she knew things would fall into their places. She smiled quietly around at the others, knowing how much she was going to miss them. When the speeches were over, the fifth year was clapping as hard as she could, not wasting a chance to show those she admired most that she was grateful for everything they'd done.

Leo hadn't thought that the time for Elizabeth to graduate would come so soon. He had waited for this moment for a while, as admittedly it was beginning to feel a little lonely without his girlfriend. Sure, Leo had his older twin siblings with him at home, but Alessio now had a job and the former Gryffindor missed hanging out with him and Marcella. Sara was still at the castle so she was busy with school. But now that Liz was graduating, it meant that their plans for the future were nearing, and they could go on adventures around the world together before the thought of applying for a job would even cross the young boy's mind. His parents had always told him he had potential, and he wasn't sure that his dreams of someday opening a joke shop would become what he'd live for, anymore. He needed to turn to other options too, to make his parents happy and to ease their worries. He smiled, beaming as Elizabeth's name was called and naturally cheering for her the loudest. When the ceremony was over the boy made his way to find his girlfriend, wanting more than anything not to waste another second and to spend time with her.

Archie couldn't have been more excited to attend Lizzie's graduation, and happy that he was able to return to Hogwarts again. His own graduation had been and gone years ago but the school still held a special place in his heart, reminding him of the many memories made in the castle walls and the friendships he cherished to that day. Lizzie was of course one of those friendships, Archie was proud to support her and celebrate the fact she was graduating and about to become a real adult in the real world. Watching the ceremony admittedly felt surreal, with Archie attending for the first time after he had graduated, rather than as a student or a soon to be graduate, though he was nevertheless happy for Lizzie more than anything, and clapped enthusiastically as her name was called out. As she walked across the stage he cheered, a bright smile on his face. Archie was so proud of his friend, he believed she deserved a happy life and was sure she would be successful at whatever she put her mind to. No matter what the future held for her he knew she would be alright, and he couldn't wait to chat with her over ice cream later and tell her all of this, knowing cheering for her during the ceremony could only do so much to show how proud he was of Lizzie and how optimistic he felt about her future.
