Graduation 2039: Spectators and Guests
OOCOut of Character:
Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation.

Professor Kingsley had settled into her seat much later than she usually did for graduation. The room was already full by that point, guests and people from the school filling all the seats. Cyndi gave her friend Ava an encouraging smile as she found a free seat. Ava had had a difficult few years, but Cyndi was proud of how poised she continued to remain when in public.

As she was called to the stage, Cyndi brushed her dress down and carefully made her way up the steps to give her brief two sickles. She was soon off again, ready to clap as the students received their diplomas. That's it. They were now fully recognized wizards and witches, ready to go off into the world. As the ceremony finished, Cyndi turned to her colleagues and began conversing with several of them.

Why am I here again? Sage. I'm here for Sage. Ferdinand reminded himself as he hurried his steps towards the great hall he knew all to well - and apparently not at all. He began to realize as he stepped inside the large wooden doors, that the decorations for this year's graduation ceremony were undeniably the same as they were one year ago, but at the same time the ex-ravenclaw noticed something askew, different from last year though the difference might have merely been his ability to pay attention to his surroundings rather than curl into a mess of anxiety in his own head now that his graduation ceremony was done and over with. That must have been it. No, that was definitely it. He shook his head once before arriving to a seat in the spectator's section and making himself comfortable so he could watch he ceremony without worry and applaud as his friend, the one person he was proud of in this year, as she walked across the stage with her usual confident allure.

And applaud he did when Sage stood up at the sound of her own name. Never mind how surreal it was to finally see his friend again and be able to communicate with her in person rather than with sporadically sent letters. Really, he could have just been in shock and not have applauded at all though he was not stupid enough to act so dumbfounded when he was more proud of her and the notion she had finally finished school more than anything. Ferdinand waited patiently for the remaining students to receive their diplomas before he stood up and waited at the back of the hall for Sage to greet him.
