Susie really should have come to the great hall first, she realised, as she swept along the Slytherin table. Lumos, Lumos, Lumos... There he was. She grinned, leaning over the table next to him. "Hey! Got any roses yet?" she asked, holding the basket behind her back. The table was looking very colourful this morning. Some people had put their roses in goblets of water, while others had just dropped them down in favour of breakfast. There were two types of people, Susie supposed.

Lumos was facing Jonah at the table, one leg up on the seat with his hands wrapped around his knee. This was how he preferred to sit when Jonah was at the table because he liked to look at him. He turned to see Susie had approached and smiled at her. "Hey Susie. Not yet, but I know I'm getting at least one," he said looking at Jonah, which he was pretty sure made his boyfriend blush if the slightly hidden pink face was any indication. "Have you?" He wondered if he might get one from mum since he's her favourite child and all.

"Oh, really?" said Susie, looking back and forth between the two boys. She paused on Jonah. "Wow. I really hope you sent him one. Gonna be super awkward now if you didn't, huh?" She grinned. The one in her basket for Lumos was yellow, so probably nothing romantic, but she produced it with a flourish. "Well, here's your first one."

I think your mum likes me, anyways sorry I stole your Potions notes before the exam for a bit... in case you were missing them.

As so that's where his notes had got to. He had wondered. He grinned at Susie and took the rose to tuck it behind Jonah's ear, after checking it for any thorns of course. "I know he did, I sent him one too." They weren't super out, or anything, but he wasn't hiding it either, and he'd sort of been introduced as his boyfriend to the wider Edogawa family anyway. He would have to tell his dad and his mum at some point, but he wasn't quite there yet. Nox knew everything of course. "Thanks Susie, have you got any yet?" He wondered if she was missing Tori as much as he was. He'd heard about her not coming back. It sucked. He'd been hoping to run into her. Jonah didn't like her so he tended not to mention her around him, but he missed his friend. At least he still had Demi.

They were so cute together. At least, Susie figured they were together. They didn't look at each other just like friends. And the rose behind the ear? Adorable. "A few. I got this really cute one - look," she said, fishing the note out of her pocket to show him. It read: I just want you to know you inspire me every single day. "And it was on a pink rose. Who do I inspire, Lumos? Who's got a crush on me? Why didn't they sign it? I'm going crazy."

Lumos looked at the note she had presented to him and whistled lightly. "OOOh, I dunno Susie, but it sounds like they're down bad. Inspiring people?" He grinned at her in a slightly teasing manner, but there was no real malice behind it, he just thought it was kind of funny. "Bit rude of them not to sign it though, maybe they were worried you wouldn't like them back? Have you given any inspirational speeches to anyone lately?"

Jonah was still a bit sleepy even after he'd been pulled from his House Table in the middle of his meal. Still, he didn't mind because he got to sit with Lumos. Still remembering that he sent a rose to Lumos had him blushing, even more so with Susie's teasing. He did sink a little against Lumos though at getting a pretty rose, though he was a little embarrassed and worried that Susie would think it too girly. So he just turned away from her and sipped at his drink and let the two talk.

For a second, Susie thought Lumos was being serious. Then she realised and smacked him on the arm. "Hey, shut up," she said, though she was still grinning. "I'm inspirational. I don't have to give a speech. I just exist." She offered Jonah another grin too, stepping back. "I gotta go finish. Happy Valentine's Day, guys."
