[Isabella Chaos]

The reaction to the first issue of her trashy tabloid magazine had gone exactly as the teenager had hoped. Some yelled out in anger, some didn't think much of it at all, others even cried, and a fair few actually praised her (unknowingly) for it, but all in all, she had done what she hoped to cause - Chaos. She didn't know why she was doing these vile things, though her subconscious knew - she wanted to be as bad as she possibly could so that her caretaker would come back after seeing how horrible she was without her, but that was her subconscious, at the surface she didn't really know what was possessing her to do this.

Isabella had received a letter from the printing company saying that they had to charge her extra for the last minute changes she had made, though she had made none they insisted otherwise the issue wouldn't come out. She reluctantly forked over a few more galleons and was unsure of when the next issue was going to come out so when she was eating breakfast that day in the Great Hall, hearing the usual flutter of owls, she was quite surprised to see the Gossip Magazine fall on everyone's plates once again. "Oh!" she cried in genuine surprise along with the rest of the Hall, seeing the magazine with a new glossy cover full of pictures of the students in the school, all old yearbook photos of course. She knew it was going to be harder to catch their attention the second time around so she had to include photos so that it would catch their interest and be curious in opening up the magazine.

Issue 2

Hey HNZers!
Welcome to another edition of the Gossip Magazine! You know, for a school who acted so appalled after the first issue was released, I was surprised to see how many gossip tips I received. I'm here to warn you, if you think you got off free from being talked about, think again - no one is safe. If you thought the last issue was bad enough to send you running out of the Great Hall in tears (yeah I was there watching your reactions), well I hope you aren't hungry, because this month's issue will make you lose your appetite quick!

Not As Lonely As They Seem
Last issue featured our Head girl, Estrella Drage, (Ravenclaw 7th Year), and her former beau, Jaken Styx (Slytherin 7th Year) however this issue features our other "Head" student, none other than, Bruin Dumbledez, Gryffindor Seventh Year.

But first, a little background story on a few other characters are in order.

Andromeda Fiorelli, Gryffindor Fourth Year
Gryffindor Prefect (4th Year) Andromeda Fiorelli had been known to have been dating Carlisle Moonlight, Gryffindor 4th Year transfer, for about five months or so, however recently, Ms. Fiorelli and Mr. Moonlight called it quits! (No doubt his sisters were pleased to hear that). Many say family issues were the reason, but there have been rumors stating otherwise. Could it be that Carlisle found out about the secret, midnight rendezvous between Andromeda and none other than the Head Boy, Bruin? Perhaps Andy had been asking for some space so she could get closer to the older Gryffindor instead? If that weren't reason enough for you to stay away Carlisle, you might want to consider this next. While you might've been pining away for the girl, she and Bruin were too busy locking lips, as seen by various, during a Brightstone weekend! It's no wonder Andromeda and Zazuka are best friends...

Beasts Among Us
On the very same Brightstone weekend I received many tips saying there were sightings of said Head Boy transforming into a beast! Some say it's a bear, others a large dog, and even guesses of werewolves! The thought seems unlikely but it's been rumored that there in fact, are werewolves dwelling within the castle, students sleeping in the same dorm rooms we all sleep in! Who could it be? Is Bruin a werewolf? Are there more of them? They should come forward and made to sleep in the woods, away from where they can do us harm!

Engaged and Underage
Well it seems Estrella Drage wasn't the only girl given an engagement ring at Hogwarts, however luckily for this fellow (sorry Jaken), she accepted! Congratulations to Violet Bellamy (Hufflepuff Fourth Year) and Aries Centauri (Ravenclaw Fifth Year).

Will it be an extremely long engagement until they both graduate school, or will they tie the knot right away? Are they planning on getting married right away to hide something (or someone?) Most importantly, will we be invited to the wedding?

Inappropriate Adult Behavior?
[ul][li]A few students should be more careful where they have their snogfests; just because Brightstone Village is away from the castle doesn't mean you're free from spectators, just saying. A certain Hufflepuff Sixth Year (William Roads) should watch where he hides his lover, especially since his lover seemed to be an older male...no confirmations on an identification of the man yet.</LI>
[li]New Transfiguration teacher, Professor Remus Firn, has been spending quite some time with fellow student Kida Frost (Gryffindor Second Year) but maybe a little too much...Could something possibly be going on between them?! Isn't 12 or 13 a little too young? It was also reported that the older male actually attacked a student, Lexi Rodriguez (Slytherin Third Year) with various objects of food! The two students, Kida Frost and Lexi Rodriguez, were actually seen fighting in the Great Hall and it was getting pretty gruesome when Professor Firn stepped in to intervene. Were the two girls fighting over the Professor? Should the Headmistress be looking for a new Transfiguration Professor soon?

[li]Is it possible that Death Eaters are working undercover within the castle? Possibly the most talked about suspect is Professor Fletcher, Care of Magical Creatures Professor and most ironically, the Gryffindor Head of House! Will the Headmistress have to replace him as well?!

More Than Friends? Again?
Everyone knows Scorpius Knight (Ravenclaw Second Year) lost his former girlfriend Luna Paramore (Ravenclaw Third Year) to her best friend Angus Greenwood (Slytherin Third Year) and had been suspicious of their "more than friends" relationship from the beginning, however he managed to bounce back with his current girlfriend, Taylor Mercer (Gryffindor Second Year). Is Scorpius doomed to lose his current girlfriend over another male best friend? If I were Knight, I'd keep my eye on Aeon Summers (Gryffindor Second Year) and his closeness to Taylor.

Moving On
It looks like Andrew Bruke (Slytherin Fourth Year) isn't heartbroken over ex-girlfriend Zazuka Bones (Ravenclaw Fourth Year) anymore, lately the Slytherin has been seen canoodling with Lexi Rodriguez (Slytherin Third Year) on the Pitch before, however is Andrew also getting closer to his best friend Caina Dante (Slytherin Fourth Year)? Is it true that Caina went through a makeover to win Andrew's heart? Well, who can blame her!

Never Satisfied Are You, Your Royal Highness?
Mike Goulding (Gryffindor Fourth Year) may think he and Isabella Chaos (Slytherin Third Year) are great now that her former boyfriend Aiden Lorka is no longer involved, however now it seems he'll have to fight for her against Isaac Chambers (Slytherin First Year). Now a first year may seem like no competition for the older Gryffindor, but it's been rumored that Isaac and Isabella actually lived together without adult supervision over the summer and grew extremely close, not to mention the fact that they've shared one or two kisses in the boy's dormitories. Is this guy a bigger threat to Mike than Aiden was?

Wild Child?
It seems our "Queen B" Isabella Chaos (Slytherin Third Year) has officially ditched her goodie-two-shoes image by being printed on the cover of a Greek magazine with fellow best friend Efeyenia Samartzi (Slytherin Second Year) and labeled as "party animals." It seems Isabella went to Greece over the summer and partook in a Greek festival. Efeyenia's father happens to be the Mayor of the city so naturally the paparazzi jumped at the opportunity to take innocent photos of the two friends and twist them inappropriately. Was that really the case or are these two girls a bit too raunchy for HNZ?

'Mixed Blood' or Mudblood?
It's no secret that Larissa Sedgwick (Slytherin Second Year) loves to judge people based on their blood type, only associating with those 'pure' as if she is one but everyone knows she's not. She's used the excuse that she's "part-Veela" but after overhearing someone say "She's not even that pretty" about the supposed beauty, is she really part-Veela or does she just use that as an excuse to admit she's not pureblood? Is she in fact muggle born instead? We hear her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Robert Kain (Gryffindor Second Year) is muggle born too, no need to be ashamed Larissa.

Random Bits of Gossip
[ul][li]Scorpius Knight (Ravenclaw Second Year) was seen rushed to the Hospital Wing (with Thomas Smith, Ravenclaw Second Year) again - that boy is a magnet for accidents and danger.
[li]Lexi Rodriguez (Slytherin Third Year) keeps trying to act tough when really it's just landing her in detention, give it up already Lexi.
[li]Arisa Havishmen (Hufflepuff Second Year) has been spotted flirting with many other guys whilst still in a relationships with Sern Summers. What's new there?
[li]Kiera Kingsley (Gryffindor Sixth Year) and James Potter (Gryffindor Seventh Year) are rarely ever seen anymore. Possibly having snog fests in the Gryffindor common room?
[li]It seems Lisa Boatwood (Ravenclaw First Year) isn't the only Ravenclaw with Slytherin in her veins. Here are a few more Ravenclaw First Years that act more like Snakes than she does: Adrienne Paine, Ai Adlam, Avrille Grinaes, and Merlina Caliburn (she was actually seen being snarky with the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain, Lily Potter!) Better just warm up to the blue and bronze, clearly the Hat didn't think you all were suited for Slytherin.
[li]Speaking of which, lately it's been rumored that the Sorting Hat almost didn't place Toni Addison (Slytherin Second Year) in Slytherin, is she almost as bad as the Ravenclaws mentioned above? Perhaps she's not as Slytherin as she thinks she is. After all, her younger triplet siblings, Bailey Addison (Gryffindor), Madison Addison (Hufflepuff), and Skye Addison (Slytherin) are all a mix of something different.
<LI>[li]Slytherin First Years Makenna Morgan and Charlie Linus seem to be almost afraid of anything and everything! Perhaps these two should've been sorted into Hufflepuff instead.[/li][/ul]

[Thomas Smith]

Thomas made his way down to the Great Hall for breakfast. He felt great, he had finally spent some quality time with Autumn, and even though he swore to himself he would never to talk to her again, Joce had finall spoken to him, without him making the first move, and they were sincere enough words.

He made his way over to the Ravenclaw table and set a few pieces of everything on to his plate and poured himself a cup of tea. As he ate his breakfast he saw the owls coming in. He never knew if he was going to get a letter from his mother so he set down his knife and fork and waited to see if an owl came near him.

Surprisely, one did, but he didn't recognise it. In front of him lay a magazine, Must be wrong person he thought, he was about to disgaurd it but heard someone said "Oh" and some commotion started. He felt a knot in his stomach as he opened the magazine. It was the dreaded Gossip Magazine that had gotten Scorpius so wound up last month.

Out of shear curiosity he opened to magazine and began to read. He was mostly appauled as he read it, how could someone do this? How could they know this? he thought, surely it was impossible for one person to know all this. Even though he was appauled he was glad that he hadn't been mentioned, not that anything happened to him that was worth talking about. Unless? He thought as he turned the last page.

The top line his name practically jumped out at him. The knot in his stomach got worse, he felt sick Well at least they were right about that he thougt, referring to the 'losing your appetite' part at the beginning. As he read that line he didn't too bad, but he hoped the Professors wouldn't say anything, as they had pretty gotten away without a warning, apart from the nurse. Well Scopius was a bit worse for wear but he seemed to be well enough.

Scoripus he thought. He had been mentioned, more than once, he was not looking forward to seeing his room mate as soon as he read the magazine

 

[Autumn Gwin]

Autumn came down from the dormitories to have breakfast with her boyfriend, Thomas Smith. She was in a rather chipper mood, but upon entering the Hall she knew somethign wasn't right. Every table seemed to be either humming softly in anger or knocked silent by surprise. Hopefully Thomas would be in a better mood than the other fuddy-duudies. However, when she got to their usual spot and saw that he was staring at something on the tbale in front of him, his food remained almost untouched.

She slid into the seat beside of him,placing a kiss on his temple and reading a bit of the article he was reading from over his shoulder. Shortly after she had a seat and went about putting things on her plate until a copy of the magazine was dropped beside of her goblet of orange juice. She picked it up and read, laughing at some thigns. She'd been buried in the books for so long she hadn't even heard most of these thigns. Auumn wondered how much of it was true.

Come to think of it, Kida and Professor Firn were rather close...and She knew Larissa froma couple experiences. She wasn't exactly the nicest person in the world. There were so many articles in this issue she couldn't believe people would have reacted as they had, and then reported all of this to whoever the person (or persons) in charge of the rag was.

"Oh well, at least we know we'll never be in this." she said, smilign "We never get into troub-"

She stopped mid sentence as she saw Thomas's name tacked onto the last few 'Heard It Through the Grapevine' lines. Whoever did this really did plan things out , she had to hand it to them. Her eyes bulged a bit and she looked to him.

"Why didn't you tell me about you and Knight getting hurt?...Well at leats you're okay. And it wasn't like it was anything bad. You were just 'seen being rushed to the hospital wing' with Kinght. Or rather him with you..." she blathered.

She still didn't care much for Thomas's new friend who had hurt Luna so badly last year. But the hatred had dissipated now that her best friend had finally found true love with someone else.

 

[Thomas Smith]

Thomas forced a smile as his girlfriend joined him. But inside he felt like he was going to be sick, he hadn't told her about his little fenture into the Forbidden Forest. With Scorpius of all people.

He could figure Autumn wasn't Scorpius' biggest fan, after what happened between him and Luna last year. Thomas felt the same, but after Luna and Scoripus had both found someone else, he eased up on him a bit. Thomas waitied for Autumn to read the last page, she was going to eventually.

Oh well, at least we know we'll never be in this. We never get into troub-

He heard Autumn start to talk as she turned to the last page. He felt worse now, she had cut off, she had seen the bit he was dreading. Taking a deep breath he waited for the questioning. "I.." He started off, why hadn't he told her? "I didn't want you to worry. As you said I didn't get hurt, but I knew you would worry anyway." He said with a small laugh. "And well, it was obvious to see Scorpius got hurt, half his lip is missing." He said, a pang of guilt turned his stomach. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to get away without a scratch, but Scorpius had got hurt, pretty badly too.

He laughed lightly that all she seemed to worry about was he didn't get dissed in the magazine, "True." He said with a sigh. "Hopefully that's the last time I see my name in that thing." He said as he started to eat his food again.

 

[Merlina Caliburn]

Merlina arrived down to the Ravenclaw table wearing her uniform and as now was a habit of hers, her slippers as well. She was used to doing this at home and didn't see the necessity for her to change her habits now simply for breakfast. As she made her way into the Great Hall she wondered at the hulla balloo that was evident at every table. She smiled recognising the boy at the Ravenclaw table, Thomas. He had been very helpful and extremely nice to her when she had been doing her school supply shopping.

"Goodmorning Thomas, goodmorning" she smiled at the other girl, Merlina was attempting to be as nice as she possibly could to everyone though sometimes it pained her to do so. It was hard not to revert back to being blunt and abrupt in her manner. As she poured herself a pumpkin juice she heard some commotion from the Gryffindor table and looked over wondering why the head boy was standing on their table. Not a very good example for everyone was he? She picked up the magazine infront of her but quickly dropped it, when she heard the loud speech he made. The boy transfigured into a bear and Merlina could only gasp.

"Is that allowed?" she said noticing how her cousin got up as if to help the animal when he crashed through a table. Merlina shook her head and opened up the magazine again, this school was full of nutters perhaps she should be asking her family to send her elsewhere.

But soon she realised just why the boy had reacted as he had and looked up quickly only to see her cousin leaving the hall. The magazine had quite alot to say about Andromeda as well. Flicking through it she was further disgusted to see she was also in there.
"I did not have a go at the prefect. I did not! I am not a Slytherin in the making or ever want to be one." she threw down the magazine, knocking over the glass of juice she had poured for herself and decided she needed to speak with her cousin. The small Ravenclaw humiliated and feeling utterly wronged stomped her way out of the great hall.

 

[Scorpius Knight]

Scorpius was making his way down to the Great Hall for breakfast after a well-rested night. He was in a good mood despite the fact that he was always getting stares from his large scar running across his mouth but tried to disregard it. When he got to the Ravenclaw table he hadn't noticed the magazines yet and he said, "Hey Thomas" with a, now crooked, smile and sat down. He reached for the pumpkin juice when his silver eyes now fell upon the dreaded Gossip Magazine. Instantly his stomach tightened as he reached for it, rather apprehensively. Part of him wanted to not read the magazine, and give the writer the satisfaction if seeing him get mad all over again for it, but he was just too curious for his own good to pass it up. He began reading through it, shaking his head at the first few stories but when he saw his own picture as well as Taylor on the next page, he gasped out loud and dropped the bit of toast he had managed to get. His eyes were glued to the magazine as he continuously read the story, feeling his stomach twist in knots. There went his appetite, as the writer had predicted.

Could this be true? Did he have to worry about Aeon too? There was a small part of him that had thought Aeon liked Taylor but he had dismissed it right away since he had never done anything to show Taylor he liked her, it was his lose after all. Scorpius looked up from the magazine and over at the Gryffindor table, catching Taylor's eye for a split second before he realized she was sitting next to Aeon. More knots twisted in his stomach. No, this couldn't be happening, not again. He didn't know what to do. He didn't want to start being paranoid and start getting suspicious of the two Gryffindors like he had been paranoid of Luna and Angus all last year. No, he couldn't do that again. But last year he had been suspicious and for good reason too! Luna and Angus had liked each other all along, so it hadn't been just him assuming these things! Now he felt really sick and frustrated at this magazine all over again.

He groaned and threw the magazine far away from him though there were still several glossy covers scattered everywhere so he couldn't get it out of his sight. "This is bullsh!t," the Ravenclaw muttered quietly as he shook his head in anger. He didn't know what to do or feel and he wanted to go talk to Taylor but he was afraid he was going to be too angry to make sense. He had to calm down before he hurt her, or himself physically again. His damaged lip was proof enough that the magazine had upset him the last time, this time the gossip hit him much deeper, but he couldn't get hurt again. He buried his head in his hands as he pulled at his longer hair.

 

[Thomas Smith]

Thomas looked up from his breakfast when he heard a familiar voice greet him. He smiled at the young girl. "Good morning Merlina." He said, somewhat happier. "I haven't seen you since the book shop. Congrats on getting into Ravenclaw." He said with a wink, remembering how she said she would have liked to get into it. "Oh this is my girlfriend, Autumn Gwin, she's a second year claw also. Autumn this is Merline Caliburn, one of the first years." He said to the two girls, after realising they didn't know each other.

Thomas went back to eatting his breakfast but stopped eatting as soon as he heard the commotion over at the Gryffindor table. He couldn't believe that their Headboy was in fact an animagus, if that was true, how much of everything else was? He looked at Merlina after she threw the magazine away, "Don't worry Merlina." He said trying to comfort the first year. "There are things in there about everybody that isn't true." He commented.

Looking up he saw Scorpius enter the Great Hall, "Hey Scorpius." he said trying not to sound worried, he wondered how Scorpius would react to it this time, it definitely wasn't pretty this time around. He waited anxiously as he read through the magazine, keeping his eyes averted from him. After a few minutes he saw the magazine thrown across the table. He looked up at Scorpius, "Yeah I know. But look mate try not to get worked up, you don't want to loose half of your other lip." he tried to say jokingly. "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about anyway." He said sincerely.
