Myuna had been told when she left for school at the start of the year that her grandma had packed her a Halloween costume and that she was expected to wear it and show proof of her wearing it. She hadn't looked at it until Halloween evening all she knew was that there were Tom huge white boots and something pink. Unfolding the dross she was shocked by the vividness of the colour but she realised that she had no other costume and she may as well not do anything to pith her gran off again at least t until she was in her good books.
She flipped the dress over her head only then realising how short it was. Dividing it would be better to be safe she slipped some shorts on underneith and put on the boots. Looking in the mirror she realised what it was. A 60's pop singer or something. Deciding she may as well finish the look right she teased her hair (which was naturally good at being teased) and put on a little makeup. Looking st her self she was sure that gran zab would be happy she headed towards the great hall. Hoping she would see some of her mates there or on route. As she had talked to albie about the feast but made no real plans on going together and also hadn't come up with any decent idea for a prank.
Entering the hall she saw it was decorated much like the precious year. Music was playing and the tables were lines with sweet goodies. Picking up a liquorice wand she started to chew it whilst looking aroud for people she knew. She realised this was harder than normal as people were in costumes many had their face covered and she didn't know what anyone was going as.

In terms of potential costumes, Albie had to admit this was the most cumbersome he could've decided upon. On the other hand, it was also the least zany he'd thought of, so that was a good thing, he supposed. Still, wearing a huge spacesuit, Albie felt he might actually be walking on the moon, given how slowly he had to move. He kind of wished he had a breathing mask so that he could talk like Darth Vader, but he supposed he'd just have to remove the helmet to talk. Which wasn't so bad. That way, he could eat, too.

Upon arriving in the Great Hall, he looked around in order to find Una - and he had to double-take when he found her. She was in a short dress and go-go boots, not something he expected her to wear at all. She looked damn good, too - not that he'd say that out loud, of course, but he thought it. Slowly moving over to her, he loomed behind her before tapping her on the shoulder and trying to make himself as tall and intimidating as possible. Realizing that looking intimidating was actually pretty impossible for him - when it came to hanging out with Una anyway - he removed his helmet and beamed at her. "Girl, you're looking fiiiiiine," he grinned, with an over-the-top wink. "Are all the boys around here just falling over themselves to dance with you?" He actually sounded sincere - and he meant to. Reaching out with a gloved hand, he awkwardly grabbed a glass of pumpkin juice - which made for quite a spectacle, when he only nearly dropped it about 5 times in the process of picking it up and bringing it to his mouth. After drinking, he placed it back down with a sigh. "I'm really not good at thinking things through, am I?"

Una didn't see anyone coming up behind her. at least not until she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. she turned and saw Albie standing there in an astronaut costume. "Albie" she said her face lighting up. giggling slightly when he said she was looking fine. "Thank's" she said a little awkwardly feeling a slight flush warm her cheeks hoping praying that the tan of her skin and the make up stopped it showing. "you are not looking bad yourself. great costume buzz" she said she felt herself blush even more when he asked if all the boys were tripping over themselves to dance with her. this time she knew it was obvious she was blushing. "I don't see many guys lining up unless you feel like starting the line and having a dance later. unfortunately i have been practicing" she said flirting with him wondering if he would get the hint she liked him.
thankfully the sort of odd tension was interrupted by Albie trying to pick up a drink with his oven glove like gloves. "watch out there" she said joking. giving him a hand they managed to get him holding the glass. Myuna picked up a glass of her own and smiled "heres to good times" she said coming up with a random toast because she felt like the situation needed one. she took a sip of the pumpkin juice. smiling to herself, she enjoyed the school socials, not because of the clown suits her gran seemed to make her were but because they usually meant she could spend time with Albie, not that she didn't usually spend time with him but it was different.
