Kiera Potter apparated to downtown London after getting out of practice early. She was wearing a fairly casual skirt and top with sneakers. She had a jacket because it was still fairly chilly for spring. When practice had ended early, she had talked to Ravyn as well as Nadia about accompaning her into the city to hang out for a bit. Her heart was aching to be with James since they had been apart for the last few days. It was the first time they had been seperated since the incident. Kiera needed her teammates with her so that she would be able to walk down any alleyways. They still caused her to shake with fear, caught up in a flash back of the horrible monster than almost killed her husband and herself.

Kiera knew the other two girls were only moments behind her so she sat on a near by bench. The plan for today was to grab a bite of lunch somewhere before doing a bit of shopping. Days off were rare, especially for her since she was trying to keep up with two careers. Kiera wanted a day to relax without having to worry about anything. Her mind was two imaginative for her to to that alone so she invited two of her friends along.

Ravyn walked down the street somewhat fast, she had just been sending an owl back to New Zealand so that she could find out how Chloe was doing with the whole readjusting thing, it was still somewhat unbelievable to know that Chloe was back after having spent so long in a coma. Chloe was living with Erica in her apartment and Ravyn was glad to know that she could definitely count on Erica to help her out though Ravyn was deeply worried about her friend since something about her was definitely not the same. Ravyn readjusted her purse as she walked in her high heels wearing A White shirt with a Grey Vest and Skirt, Her white flower clip hung in her hair and gave off the perfect image of spring as she noticed more than a few guys looking her way.

Ravyn thought about Jean Paul and how he must be feeling considering what she had done to him only a few months ago. It was hard to think that he had proposed to her and that she had responded by breaking up with him but getting married was simply not in the plans right now. Ravyn saw Kiera up ahead and smiled "I'm sorry, I'm late" Ravyn said calmly as she walked up and looked around "Luckily I'm not the last one to arrive though" Ravyn added with a bright smile as she looked at Kiera. "Still thinking about what happened?" Ravyn asked the over protectiveness that came with having several siblings was strong within her and she was always somewhat quick to pick out when something was bothering someone. It also helped knowing that James found her as a somewhat confident and tended to tell her everything even though she was constantly reminding him that he should tell his wife the same things. Ravyn knew however that James had been shook up by the near death experience and that Kiera was probably just as shaken if not worse.

Kiera smiled at the older girl and teammate. She was slowly getting used to the idea that all of her teammates were girls. It was an odd feeling after playing at Hogwarts so long, especially under Bruin as their captain. Kiera shook her head. "You aren't late just yet." she reassured Ravyn. "I'm sure Nadia will be here soon. You wanna sit while we wait?" she asked, motioning to the seat beside her. Ravyn was quickly becoming a close friend of Kiera's though she figured that was partially because the older girl was so close to her husband.

The smile faded off of Kiera's face as Ravyn guess at the thing her thoughts had been on moments before. The color drained off her face. The young girl sighed but nodded her head. "It's not exactly something easy to get over with." she pointed out. The experience had shown her the worst of the world and how quickly everything you loved could be taken from you. "I just worry about him now that we are apart again. Something has been bothering him though he wouldn't tell me what it was." she said, knowing Ravyn would know she was talking about James. "I just fear he will go running head first into danger if he thought someone was in trouble." she said shaking her head. It wasn't a bad thing though it seemed in ran in the Potter bloodline. See danger, face it head on. "It was all I could do to save his life this time." Kiera confided in her teammate.

Nadia, despite the fact that she could be blunt and tactless at times, knew that it was better not to say anything that could be potentially inflammatory today, that it was better just to keep quiet and to be there to support poor Kiera in her time of need. The poor girl was only 19, and she had so much: married to James Potter, olympic gymnast, and one of the Harpies chasers...but it must have been so hard to take on so much. And then there was that awful incident where James had been nearly killed...it was a wonder Kiera could still fly as well as she did at training! Nadia had to admit, she was a little jealous. Sure, she could cope with things well, but not with so much grace. If she'd been in Kiera's position, she would have crashed and burned by now.

As it was, it was hard enough to cope with being a professional Quidditch player and trying to have a personal life. Usually, the only time off she got would be the one night a week where she got absolutely smashed - like that time with Roddy, a time which still made her cheeks burn with embarassment as she remembered the fact that she'd nearly kissed him. Still, she had a boyfriend now, Justin, who was quite understanding of her busy lifestyle and quite willing to support her in games. But she was always haunted by the memory of that almost kiss...

...best not to think about that now. She could see Ravyn and Kiera up ahead, and today was about keeping Kiera company and comforting her in her time of need. Smiling, Nadia pulled her black tote bag back over her shoulder, pushing her hair to the side as she approached the other two. "Hey, girls," Nadia said, with a grin. She was one of the older players on the team - only twenty-five, but still one of the more experienced, having been on the team for about six years now - and she was very protective of her teammates, liking to act as a big sister figure. She may have been snarky to the opposition, but she was like a mama bear with a beater's bat when it came to the Harpies. "What did you ladies have in mind for the day?"

"Thank you" Ravyn said with a smile as she took a seat next to Kiera and listened to what was on her mind, Ravyn understood exactly what Kiera's problems was because she had heard something similar from James. "James has always been a jump in head first type of guy" Ravyn explained though she knew she didn't really have too. "It's one of the things that makes him a great Seeker at Quidditch but also a very good friend" Ravyn said with a slight smile knowing that James would love to return back to his old position but would have to continue waiting before he could play Seeker again. "You just have to be patient and he'll open up to you, I think the fact that he hasn't yet shows just how important you are to him" Ravyn explained as she looked ahead and noticed a few more guys were staring at the two of them. "He doesn't want to burden you with his thoughts, but I assure you worries about you just as much as you worry about him and that's why you guys are meant for each other" Ravyn said as she heard a voice.

Ravyn had played Quidditch with Nadia for a little more than four years now even though they had never really hung out away from the rest of the team it was nice that they were finally getting the chance to do so. Ravyn stood up and patted her dress down so that nothing revealed itself and looked across the street once more to see the guys still staring at the three of them though more attentively this time now that there were more pretty girl's around. "I don't know Nadia, perhaps get into a little trouble" Ravyn said with a slight smirk as she laughed a bit. "It's Kiera's big day out, maybe she should decide" Ravyn said as she turned towards Kiera and looked her in the eyes though she pulled out her sunglasses and put them on in order to keep the sun away from her eyes. The air may have been chilly but Ravyn felt perfectly comfortable as she began to think about Erica and Chloe hoping that her two best friends were well.

Kiera listened as Ravyn talked. She had known James much longer than Kiera had and the two were close friends. She hoped that Ravyn would have a bit more insight into James. What the older girl said made since. She knew James was very much a jump in head first guy. After all, the couple had done just that in marriage which she was beginning to think he regret. "I hope you are right. You know him just as well as I do." she said before hearing a voice join them.

Kiera grinned at Nadia as she joined the two other girls. "Hey Nadia! Glad you could join us." she said cheerfully. Kiera was still new to the team and was trying to get to know all her teammates. She knew from experience that if you were comfortable with your team off the field then you would dominate on the field, just like the Pride. Kiera laughed at Ravyn's comment about getting into trouble. She too had notice the guys staring as a sly smile appeared on her lips. "If that is any indication of the day then it might have a little bit of trouble in it." she teased lightly. "I don't really have anything in mind. I just wanted a distraction." she said with a shrug. "Lunch?" she asked, wondering if the other two girls were hungry. Kiera rarely ate more than a few bites since the incident but she knew other people did get hungry.

Nadia looked around and saw a few guys staring at them. She chuckled softly to herself, but she figured that the guys were of no consequence. After all, Kiera was well and truly spoken for, and Nadia had recently been taken off the market herself. Still, if anything bad happened, Nadia was quite adept at self-defence. After all, she was a beater.

Nadia nodded at Ravyn insisting Kiera choose - of course she was going to let the youngest of them decide, it was her day out after all. And if it was a distraction she needed, well, of course they'd provide one for her. She must have been under a lot of stress, with all that she was going through, and at times like these, getting out and about was important for mental health. "Lunch is always a good idea," she said, with a grin. Nadia, being an athelete, was of course a big eater. Considering her role relied on strength, not so much agility, she didn't care about being light. And while she wasn't fat, she wasn't by any stretch a rake. "Even if that lunch is just a soda."

"Lunch sounds good" Ravyn said calmly to the other two "I'm actually kinda hungry" Ravyn said with a slight smirk, she was a Chaser for the team and mostly the Harpies strategy for winning was a combination of both light agile players such as Kiera and Ravyn with a few heavier stronger players providing defensive and offensive capabilities such as Nadia. Gwenogg Jones, had one played Captain for the Holyhead Harpies and was now there coach. She was a brilliant tactician and Ravyn often wondered if Quidditch was all she thought about. Ravyn talked with Kiera alot but didn't talk with Nadia that much despite the two of them having been on the same team for quite a while. This wasn't too surprising since there were about twenty one different players that made up their team. A funny thing since School teams typically don't have two replacements on standby per match, it just showed how much more dangerous Professional Quidditch was compared to School.

"Is there a good place to eat nearby?" Ravyn asked Kiera since perhaps she knew of somewhere that she liked to eat. Before Ravyn knew it they were on the move heading towards somewhere though without much talking and so Ravyn decided that she was going to have to break the silence. "Nadia how has everything been?" Ravyn asked deciding that casual conversation would indeed be a good distraction for the three of them, it would of course also give Ravyn a chance to get to know Nadia more. Ravyn glanced up at the sky and couldn't help think about Chloe and Erica, wondering how the two of them were fairing considering everything Chloe had been through. Turning towards Kiera and Nadia she listened to what was said with calmness and smiles, Something that Ravyn was more than use too by now.

Kiera nodded her head as Nadia and Ravyn agreed that they were both up for some lunch. The younger girl smiled at the two older ones. "Food it is then." she said brightly, trying to seem as nothing was bothering her. As Ravyn asked her if she knew a good place, she shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't used to this city, rarely staying here. Then an idea struck her. "There is an adorable cafe up around the corner. Its mostly a muggle place though. Is that okay?" she asked curiously. Kiera was used to muggles and everything that made up their world, however, she knew that was not the case with most wizards and witches.

Kiera was slightly relieved as Ravyn asked Nadia how she was. The younger girl did not have to deal with the pressure of everything that happened in her life plus trying to keep up a steady stream of conversation. She turned to the older girl, listening intently. It was the perfect way to distract her from her own thoughts about James, Bleak Street, and Cynthia Vandervoort.
