Desi had been on the move nearly all day. He'd promised Kayleigh that he would look for clues about the secret room while she was off practicing quidditch, but that hadn't happened. Really, the young boy had been on a mission to find the poltergeist, Vex. The secret room was his secondary mission. So far, he hadn't had the pleasure of spotting the ghost though he had come across rooms that he was sure Vex had been in. Desi was comfortable interacting with ghosts. He had to be. One of his dads was one. But, he was pretty disappointed that he always seemed to enter a room after the poltergeist had left, if he'd been there at all.

"Oh, Vexy. Come out, come out wherever you are" Desislav sang more to himself than anything. He had just reached the fifth floor. Boredom was beginning to set in for the boy, and that was trouble.

Saveli had to admit that her early evening walks had lately been a bit more peaceful than before. She was doing much less crying and much more planing. Between Viviana, Professor Pendleton, and Gabriel she'd been feeling a bit better about her predicament. Sure she knew that she'd be leaving the school regardless, but Viviana had done nothing but try and cheer her up over the whole situation. The blonde woman stuck close to the walls as she moved, and narrowly avoided another person who was also in the halls. The girl's first thought was to panic and run - it had to be a prefect, but her heart rate slowed as she realized it wasn't even after curfew.

The blonde looked at the boy she'd avoided, who seemed to be calling out for the new bothersome poltergeist. "Why are you searching for a trouble making ghost like that?" She asked before she could stop herself. Normally she would keep those thoughts to herself, but being she only had this semester, what did it matter if she talked to people or even made enemies.

Desi wasn’t really paying too much attention to anything, so he didn’t even notice the girl who’d stepped into the hallway until she was speaking to him. With a quick glance up, he recognized her quickly enough. She was in some of his classes. Her name eluded him, but most names did. He was good with faces but horrible with names. His parents always told him that they were surprised he never forgot his own name, but that would be really silly…even for him. The Gryffindor fought the urge to repeat the question back in an annoying voice. He did that to his sisters when he wanted to annoy them. Instead, he shrugged his shoulders, “Why not?” Desislav took another step before peeking into the transfiguration classroom. All looked quiet in there. “If you must know, he stole something of mine and I’d like to get it back” he lied, thinking that the girl might help him. Desi tried the door, not at all surprised to hear the familiar rattle of a locked door. He sighed before finally turning around to face the blonde girl. “Have you seen him today?” he asked, curiosity filling him.

Saveli heard out what the boy had to say and tossed around the words a bit. It made enough sense to the Slytherin that she didn't necessarily think questioning him further needed to be done. Saveli removed her wand from her pocket and pointed it at the door. "Alohamora." She spoke and pointed it at the door. "Well if he took something of yours then there isn't a point letting locked doors get in your way. Would you like some help?" She inquired, after all her father had taught her once to help others as they will one day return the favor. The blonde placed her wand back at her side in her pocket. It was always advised against but it wasn't as if she had a holster. If a professor asked about the door being tampered with she would simply tell them it was the boy she waswith whom had done it and not herself. After all she was unaware that spells could be cast to make the users wand show the last spell that was thrown from it.
