If anyone had asked a young version of Joseph what he thought he would be doing with his life when he was older he never would've answered by saying he'd see himself becoming a professor. He had always had a profound love for magical creatures and conservation and that he'd find his profession somewhere in that area had been clear to him from the very beginning. But teaching? Being a professor? The thought had never occured to him untill he had children on his own and even then he hadn't thought he'd ever be sharing his knowledge with kids that weren't his own. Yet here he was, halfway through his second year of being an actual professor, completely content with where he was in life. He knew what was expected of him and tried his best to teach his students everything he could. Everything they needed to know. As a matter of fact he had gotten quite comfortable in his role as professor. The only thing he hadn't put much effort into yet was getting to know his colleagues. A fact he was keen to change. Armed with a coffee in his one hand and one of his books in the other he had taken a seat in the professor's common room, keen to have a chat with anyone that wasn't a teenager.
