Open Fun for tonight

[Lauryn Woodlock]

Lauryn comfortably went down to the Great Hall as she wore her costume. A onesie cow that her uncle bought and owled her. She thought she didn't have to be a princess this year, it's for fun anyways. Might not be original but comfortable than other costume she had seen while coming down. As always, the Great Hall was decorated with big pumpkins hovering above them. The moon shine inside as it those mimic the outside weather. Looking around if any of her relatives are here, Lauryn decided to get some snacks and juice. All she knows that Alec wouldn't be attending, she was busy with something again and she doesn't know what. The Hufflepuff smiled and waved at the students she knows from her house while munching on a biscuit.

 

[Matt Rosemary]

Matt wasn’t exactly sure as to why he had decided to go to the Halloween celebration, after all his family had never celebrated it before he came to Hogwarts. Maybe it was simply the fact that it was his last year at the school and although he had never been one for sentimental goodbyes, he knew deep down he was going to miss thid place. Sure, he could actually go explore and see the world, travel, but it wasn’t going to be the same. So as he entered the hall, he shoved his hands into his pockets, not having put much effort into his costume. All he wanted out of this night was a fun memory or two. Maybe just mingle amongst those his age. He glanced around to see if there was anyone who wasn’t already either dancing or chatting and when he saw the short girl he helped just the other day, he went over to her, a smirk on his face. "Fancy seeing you here."

After muching on her first biscuit, Lauryn made sure her hoodie was covering half of her face. It was Halloween after all, plus she wanted to have a low profile. That guy she met the other day might see her and annoy her again. Staying by the food and drinks, the Hufflepuff went for a tea sandwich. She decided dancing was not on her list as she's not really into dancing. A few minutes onto the party, Lauryn was almost happy that no one bothered her until that guy came. "Why. Are. You. Following. Me?" Lauryn said like she was talking to a baby. The brunette wants to know his name now, so, she can tell his head of house that he's being annoying.

Matt smirked at the girl. Clearly, he had to have some sort of effect on her if she got annoyed with him that fast. It was entertaining to say the very least and to his amusement and the younger girl’s annoyance, Matt wasn’t going to go away anytime soon. "Who said anything about following you?" he said dismissively with a wave of his hand. "I’m here to enjoy the party. It’s my last one, what can you do."
