The Quidditch season had been rough, but it had worked out well. At least, Cas thought so. Hufflepuff had won. But he'd noticed since the game with Ilvermorny that Lucas had been a bit pouty. Deciding that he couldn't just sit back, Casper had gone to work on a new dragon figurine for his friend. He commissioned a smaller wooden one from one of the bartenders at the Hogs Head, the older one that acted kinda grumpy. Well, it had been more of a trade really, Cas had given him a nice woodland painting for his office in return for about a dozen on the little dragons. He had spent most of yesterday carefully painting the figurine in Lucas' favorite colors, thinking that he wanted to at least show Lucas that Casper was there for him.
With everything finished, Cas set out around the school looking to find his friend. It took some time, but eventually Cas found the other boy in the student lounge. Cas walked over quietly, smiling a little to himself. He sank down, so he was eye level with the edge of the table, and set the dragon on the tabletop. He stayed close to the ground, peeking over the edge of the table and slowly pushing the dragon into Lucas' line of sight.
