Friends Made of Snakes and Griffins.

Rebecca smiled, "Yaeh that would be a cool story to talk about. And your right most only try to help us, we as a people are just too inconsiderate to think about what we may be doing to their habitat." Paul talked about how they had so much in common. She giggled a little, "I was just thinking the same thing." She thought yet again about how there thought process and mindset just seemed to match each other. She was then glad for his friendship, he may be her only friend but she was sure not many else could understand her like Paul did.

Paul was really glad he had met Rebecca. She was so nice to him. She reminded him of his father. A nice Slytherin. A considerate Slytherin. She was so much different from the rest. And to think, she was his friend. His first friend at Hogwarts. It made him happy to think such a thing. It made him happy to know that someone liked him and not hated. "You're different. You're....better then the rest of the Slytherins." Paul said. Smiling.

Rebecca looked around, they had been walking for a while now. The forest was no so dark she was sure she wouldn't have been able to see without the light from her wand. Paul said she was different, better than the rest of her house. She could have laughed, she had only been nice to Paul. But Rebecca wasn't perfect, she had her flaws, and her main one was she had a temper. And when she was angry she tended to be very mean to whomever was around. She hoped that Paul would never see her like this. She liked him so much, he was her first and only friend so far at Hogwarts. She didn't know what to say to him so she decided on a simple, "Thanks, your a really nice Gryffindor too. Most of you hate Slytherin so much they wouldn't have even talked to me." She smiled up at him.

"The more friends you have, the better you will be in life. The more enemies you have, the more chance you have to fall." Paul said simply with a smile.

He knew they probably should be getting back to the castle. Strange beasts more dangerous than any would presently show. They didn't even know many spells. At the moment a spell of light and to stop light, but that wouldn't save them from some gigantic beast that fears nothing. "You know, we probably should be getting back. It's getting really dark, and things unimaginable come out at this time." Paul said.

Rebecca nodded at what he said. It was true, she knew that people needed friends. She herself really didn't have any but Paul and her brother. She knew she needed to work on making some friends. But the Slytherins were mean most of the time and everyone hated her because she was a Slytherin. Granted she could be mean sometimes but she didn't have a consistent crappy attitude like some of the others in her house. Paul said something about going back and she thought that was a good idea. "Yeah it's really dark and..." She stopped she didn't want to tell him she had saw something earlier. "We should get back." She again gave him that smile of hers.
