🌹 Rose Giving Friendly Yellow

Slowly but surely, Zag was getting down his list. Next was another name he recognized, but only from the Quidditch matches. It was not like he knew the girl personally. He'd spent a little while trying to find the older Gryffindor, growing just a little frustrated from how hard this actually was. Why couldn't all these roses just be delivered with magic or something? Save people the pain of having to walk the length of the castle ten times to find people. "Emma van Houten?" He tried calling in the near vicinity of the Gryffindor table, "I have a rose for you! If you're here..."

Emma had already gotten two roses today, including a red one from her boyfriend, but she was still hoping to get a few more. She kept an eye out for the delivery people, so she was quick to spot the boy near the Gryffindor table. When he actually called her name, Emma grinned and raised her hand. "Here!"

Thankful when the girl stuck her hand up, Zagreus offered a shy smile as he wandered over. reaching into his basket, he only took a moment to find the yellow rose, holding it out to the much older girl, "Here you go."

Emma gave the young boy a big grin, taking the rose for him once he offered it to her. "Thanks!" She said cheerfully, opening the note quickly. She smiled fondly at the note, feeling a little sad. She was really going to miss Chloë next year.
