Closed Friendly Patrolling

In all honesty, Abby was grateful she had been paired with a friend. It was hard enough for her to socialise and meet new people, so she was grateful she had been paired with Kiara. Plus she guessed it was another way to catch up with her friend while on patrol. Abby was a little nervous to patrol, as she knew it was a huge responsibility to do, but she knew she had to step up a little and do her part. The Gryffindor stood in the fifth corridor, as she awaited for her friend, as they were about to do their rounds of patrolling.

Kiara had been slightly surprised by the list of patrol partners, although not in a negative way. She was glad to be paired with Abby, happy to have found an easy way to spend much more time with her friend. She had just thought they'd be paired up with older students so they wouldn't have to figure it all out on their own. Although she was sure patrolling couldn't be very difficult. She just hoped any trouble making students kept out of their path so they wouldn't have to get all strict on them. "Hi!" Kiara waved as she made her way down the stairs into the corridor, already spotting Abby a bit further down. She refrained from actually skipping over to her friend but did walk a little quicker than she normally would. "So, are you ready?" She giggled.
