Fourth Years, Lesson Six

"Good morning," she greeted, watching as the students took their seats. She leaned against the table, taking the class in for a moment before she began to talk.

"Well, this is it, I suppose," Trina started, giving a small shake of her head. "Once you've done your exam, you're done with me." She placed a hand to her head, in mock dramatics. "Whatever shall you do?" She couldn't help but chuckle, shaking her head again. "In all seriousness, thank you. You've been a great class and I will miss teaching you. I'll still be here, so if you do need any help with any theoretical work in the next couple of years, or if you want to learn about things they won't teach you at Hogwarts, just ask." She didn't expect many to take her up on it, but she wasn't going to say no if any of the students had some interesting ideas they wanted to look more into. "Anyway, end of semester, so you're free to revise. Or chat quietly amongst yourselves or ask me anything, or colour or do puzzles...or, actually, I'm working on a time capsule with the second years. If any of you would like to submit a little note for that, a message for the students in fifty years time to read, that would be wonderful. Though, fair warning, I will screen them, so if you write something rude you're getting hexed."Trina smirked, sitting back at the desk and returning to her marking.

Carolina was grateful for the chance to revise during the final history of magic lesson that semester. She had the last few years to catch up on as well as her current semester, so she was relieved to have any time to study while she could before the exam. When the lesson began Carolina got out her books and tried her best to note down as much as she could about the subjects she had learned that semester so she could remember it for her OWL exams next year. When the lesson was over, she headed to the library so she could continue studying before her next class.

Lincoln made his way into Professor Adelia’s classroom for the last history of magic lesson of the semester. As it was the final lesson of the semester, Professor Adelia told them they could revise, so he took out his notes and spent the lesson going through them. Once the lesson was over, he packed up his things and made his way out of the classroom.

Autumn was glad that the semester was coming to an end as she really wanted to go back home. She had enough of listening to lectures and felt as though she was wasting her time at Hogwarts doing nothing but whatever the professor told her to. As the Slytherin entered the History of Magic classroom, she smiled as the professor announced it would just be a study lesson. She appreciated the substitute professor letting them know they could reach out to her if they needed help in their senior years, but personally Autumn didn't feel she would. The teen just tried to go over her notes until the end of the lesson.
