Red Rose for @Emmanuel Okoye
As one of the organizers, Marnie knew it was fully in her power to delegate her next to rose someone else. Literally anyone else. But once she'd seen it on her list, she couldn't ignore the curiosity of who could possibly be sending Emmanuel a red rose. Sure, he'd been popular, what with Penny AND Daria pining after him at least (and hadn't that been a surprise to find out, poor Daria), but Marnie couldn't imagine anyone still thought the same way after he broke Penny's heart.
"Emmanuel, hey- I mean hey," Marnie said, greeting him before remembering to lower her voice in the library. "It's Valentine's day and someone sent you a rose," she announced rather flatly, holding out the red rose like an accusation between them. She'd mostly gotten past her animosity for him after they'd spoken last year, but it'd had reared up rather suddenly today and she was rather hoping to get a glimpse of the note to get a few answers.
