Marcos was on the pitch mostly because it seemed like the best thing to do. He liked being on the pitch, and it was definitely fun to be messing around with Gabriel on the pitch, they were just playing around as friends did, as they were supposed to. After all, he liked flying and he liked spending time with his friend. However, it did eventually tire him out, though they weren’t running around or playing too much, it was still tiring, and being on a broom was a different kind of tiring by the end. He was just pleased to sit on the solid ground of the pitch, out of breath and sweaty. Having a smile plastered on his face because he’d had such fun with his best friend. And goodness was Marcos happy to be able to spend time with him on the pitch, ”That was awesome!” he said with a laugh in his voice, ”We should come out to the pitch and flying around more often,” Marcos couldn’t keep the enjoyment or warm tone from his voice, it had been a lot of fun, and he had certain enjoyed it. There was this whole new term looming and though they were just second years, the workload would surely be more and they would be faced with a mound of homework. It made sense they spent this time messing about, ”Flying with my brother is so much fun, but this was so much better,”

Gabriel had one goal for this year, and that was to make the Quidditch Team. And he was sure he was gonna get there. He was confident about his qualities and couldn't wait to show James and the others. But what was more fun of getting the team together with Marcos his best friend. The two could spend a lot of time together and they both loved Quidditch. Marcos was friendly and fun to hang out so Gabriel was glad to have met him. When they were done with flying around he felt the grass on his feet again and smiled at his buddy '' YEAH AWESOME!!'' He screamed full of adrenalin. He threw the broom on the grass and looked at Marcos and calmed down for a moment. '' Yes we do, since we have to make the team. And we will and than we will come here more.'' he said with a confident smile. It was his dream and it had to come true. Gabriel thought of Sofia for a moment, she hated it that he was trying out and she wouldn't be happy to see him in the team, but he enjoyed it. He loved his older sister very much and knew she had much trouble with processing the death of their mother. She was too afraid of making friends, and she wished he could do anything for her. He had introduced Marcos to her at the meeting and he hoped she would make friends for herself. When Marcos said flying with his brother was fun, but with him better his smile got bigger. '' I wish I had a brother sometimes, Sofia just yells at me all the time if I even mention the word flying or Quidditch.'' he said than and laughed a bit.

Marcos was so happy with all of it. The school was amazing, the pitch was amazing, he had a great friend by his side, it was just all great. The boy had had his fears about the school, afraid that he wouldn’t get along with anyone, afraid that he would never fit in, afraid that he would struggle with every aspect of the school, but it had been the exact opposite, he still wished he could be smarter like Flavio, but he was also so happy with what he did have. The boy looked at his friend and nodded, he couldn’t wait to make the team with him. Then they could practice more and more, and it would be more focused they would have even more of a goal in mind. It would be great, it would be amazing. Of course he was sure there would be a bit of struggle for slots, but Marcos was just happy to try and throw his hat into that ring. The boy smiled at his friend as he began talking, ”Sofia didn’t seem too bad,” the boy returned with a shrug, to him she really hadn’t seemed that bad, she was maybe just worried, ”And I have two brothers as well as two sisters,” he would happy add Gabriel to his brother’s list, he had spent so much time with him recently, he really liked the boy and would think of him like a brother, ”Is Sofia your only sister?”

Now that Sophie was promoted to reporter for Hogwarts Monthly because she'd been a member for a full school-year, she felt some pressure to bring more stories to the paper. One problem was that nothing all that interesting happened at Hogwarts, once you were over the usual weird stuff anyway. She knew some people criticised the paper for being too gossipy, but she wondered what else they wanted them to write about. Relationships between students and petty drama was as close as you got to news at a school, aside from official announcements and events like balls and tournaments. Besides, she knew most people still read it and enjoyed those parts, as she had heard them discuss the pieces quite a bit. So today Sophie was hunting for a story. She'd walked all over the grounds with her notebook and pen, hoping to see anything interesting at all.

The greenhouses were empty, the lake deserted, and she hadn't quite dared to venture into the forest. Before long, her feet had taken her to the quidditch pitch, where she spotted two flying figures. As much as she disliked flying and quidditch, she figured there may be a story here. At least, the odds were better than they were in a place where nobody was hanging out at all. So she headed out to the pitch, but by the time she had gotten there the two figures were on the ground. She squinted at them to see if she recognized them. When she came close enough, she did, and her blank expression turned into a scowl. Of course, who else would it be? Gabriel. Marcos was there too, and Sophie had nothing against the boy but she was starting to dislike him by association. Anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together would know better than to be friends with the infuriating Gryffindor. She didn't think there was much of a story here, but she could never resist irritating Gabriel Rosenberg. She looked at them and deliberately started to pretend to take notes on her notepad, hoping he would see it and get curious about what she was pretending to write. She'd already put him in the paper once, and she didn't think he had enjoyed it. Though she unfortunately hadn't been able to see his reaction.
