This was the first year where Sophie had really taken her costume seriously, and she was secretly a little pleased with the result. When she was younger she had usually mocked those who tried hard for their costumes, though she had also mocked those who hadn't really tried. Sophie was trying to be a bit better, and she also wanted to make the most of her last few years at school. The girl was wandering around on her own, the enchanted clouds of her dress trailing behind her as she did. She wondered if she should go into the spooky tent by herself, or see if she could spot a friend to go with first. She stopped near the tent's entrance, wondering what to do next. Maybe Caro was around somewhere. Or Gabriel? But he wasn't her friend, she was just curious what he was dressed as, that was all. She glanced around, then looked at the tent again, contemplating her next step.

Hudson had just been laughing at a guy dressed up as a lion, took house pride to a whole new level when he spotted a girl dressed as a cloud. She was over by the spook house, Hudson had never gone in before not being a person who wanted to willingly scare himself. But he was intrigued by the magic she must have done and started to move away from the snack food table towards the girl. It clearly wasn't something like cotton but a magical spell, he hadn't learned anything like it in class before so he wondered if she was older than he. Of course, Hudson had never really taken interest in much of his classes before, but being able to use magic to hide yourself was something was did interest him. He wondered what extent the clouds could be made, could she create a fog? Or maybe even a large cloud in the ceiling, would a large enough one cause rain as well? He had a lot of questions, but he wouldn't ask. Instead he stood nearby hoping someone else would ask and he could overhear.

Still indecisive about what to do next, Sophie was quietly hoping someone she knew would join her. At moments like this she did miss Amber, who would occasionally swoop in when Sophie was standing by herself to at least give her someone to talk to. As she was contemplating this, she noticed a boy standing nearby and looking at her. Sophie looked down at herself, suddenly feeling a little self conscious about her costume. She looked up at the boy again with a frown. "What?" She asked, a little defensive now.

Hudson hadn't realized he might be staring and quickly glanced away when the girl spoke at him. She didn't sound very friendly but he realized that maybe he had been slightly creepy about his staring. She looked cute in her outfit and he felt like telling her since maybe she wasn't sure how well she'd done with her outfit. He wondered if maybe he should try to find a new person to date, his mind still stuck on the pain Vivian had left him in and ever since he'd been more open to girls. Could he flirt with this girl the way Viv had with him? Probably not, Hudson was terrible with his words, but maybe a friend wouldn't end of being so bad to try to make tonight. He wondered if he should then pretend to have a french accent to go along with his costume, but that could be insulting he figured if the girl was French. At this point he realized the time between her acknowledging him and him answering had been growing to an awkward point. "Sorry, I was just..admiring your clouds and the magic you must have used to create them. They really compliment you," he finally replied with a slight smile.

Gabriel wasn't really a fan of dressing up or something but today he had chosen for a cool outfit and figured that was nice. He would attend together with Sara. He was wondering as what she would dress up. And the competetion between them too would start soon with quidditch. He was ready for it. Gabriel was already early and since Sara and him didn't attend the same house they had to meet in the Great Hall so he walked into the big room. And he noticed some familliar faces and looked at the costumes around him. He was hoping to see Sofia too, it would be her last thing in every event this year. He hoped she would enjoy herself tonight a bit. But it seemed she was going in the good direction with the help of the councellor. Gabriel than noticed Sophie standing and a boy spoke to her. Their relationship was weird, it started from true enemies but the last time he saw her in the bookshop he kind of had to laugh and didn't go angry at all. And she had a really awesome dress it seemed, with clouds. He decided to walk over to the two to have some conversation until Sara came over. He heard the boy saying that he wa admiring the clouds. Well that seemed heavy. Was he flirting with Sophie? That was really strange, he knew Sophie had dated that stupid boy from the same house as Sophie, but just like Sophie than Isaac was a stupid person. Gabriel laughed for a moment.
'' Admiring? Dressing up like a cloud? How did you come up with this Sophie?'' The blonde than asked.

Sophie was usually someone who thought about things negatively and assumed the worst, so she was a bit surprised when the younger boy told her he had been admiring her costume. Immediately, she felt bad for her earlier tone, and she softened a bit towards him. "Oh, thank you." She said, looking down at her dress and then back at the boy with a small smile. "I like your costume as well." She wasn't sure, but felt for a moment like maybe this boy was flirting with her, or trying to. But maybe he had just really wanted to compliment her costume, which really did feel more likely. But of course, the conversation just had to be overheard by Gabriel. He had the habit of popping up everywhere, and Sophie felt a bit disgruntled. "Aren't you supposed to hang out with your girlfriend?" She asked him, frowning. More and more lately, she had been annoyed that Gabriel had a girlfriend. It was just because it was so predictable, him dating another Quidditch player. It wasn't like she actually minded. Not even a little. But why did he have time to bother her all the time if he had a girlfriend? "And I came up with it with a little help of something called imagination, maybe you should try to develop some." She said, crossing her arms.

Hudson felt better about her tone and maybe the conversation when she seemed to be a bit happy with his compliment. He was going to ask more about it, the magic that went behind when another guy showed up he seemed to laugh at Hudson. This made the teen shrink back into himself, he wasn't sure this could be a guy that likes this girl so he felt bad trying to be nice to her. He glanced around the room as they talked, maybe he'd see someone in his classes and pretend to be called over by them. That's when he saw the lion from earlier take of his mask, it was Vivian. He could feel all the color in his face fade out and he looked back at the two he was standing with. They were still talking to each other, and by the words and her body language she had a feeling that maybe she was upset with this boy. He had a girlfriend, so not her, maybe she liked him? "You're a sixth year aren't you? Ravenclaw, I think I've seen you around the common room before," Hudson said trying to pretend nothing was bothering him. Also maybe to distract her about anything she was feeling because of the other guy there.

Gabriel looked at the boy not intending to make him feel bad or something, but he was really overeacting about Sophie. And the boy ignored him, but he didn't mind. He hadn't said anything to him yet. When Sophie reacted he grinned he talked about Sara and it kind of seemed she was annoyed. '' Waiting for her. Girls.. always taking so long to prepare.'' Gabriel than said with a grin to the boy. '' And who are you? Hi I'm Gabriel.'' the boy said and than back to Sophie. Sophie was back on a roll and he got irritated when he was younger but now it was something funny and he was just acting along. '' I don't think a cloud would suit me. I'm better like this.'' Gabriel than said and showed his police uniform. '' Halloween is not my thing really..'' He than reacted back. And he followed the conversation from the boy and Sophie than.
