First Time At Her Place

Sarah was very excited to have Kari to her place, even if Kari wasn't feeling very well. She had just gotten done remodeling the place, with little to no effort. She still had a little work to do with panting and other things; but she wasn't worried about getting it done right away. She pulled the chain with her house key out of her shirt, and then proceeded to unlock her door. "Just don't freak out. It's a bit... well... you'll see." Her house was big. Their was no hiding it. Even from the outside, it was big. Not far from it were two smaller, yet identical houses. Those made up the Marion Estates. As she opened the door and flipped on the light, the kitchen was immediately visible. She smiled slightly at it; at least she had cleaned today. She waited for his reaction before leading him any further.

Kari walked with her up to a big house and waited as she opened the door. He knew she had money, but this seemed like a bit much to him. He was used to scrounging by on the most meager of amounts. The went in a he surveyed the kitchen, with its dark wood cabinets and its white counter tops. It looked like it had just been cleaned. It was the opposite of his house, that was for sure. "Its very beautiful Sarah." He turned to smile at her. "How long have you been living here?"

"Yeah; i mean..." She blushed a bit. She didn't like showing off her house; she would rather have a modest place then this house. The only reason that she actually took the place was because it was her brother's, that and because of Angela. She looked down at the ground, then back at him. "Uh, living room is this way." She started walking with her head down. The house was so big; Maybe Kari would like to live there one day. She reached the living room keeping her eyes down. Having a big house made her embarrassed.
