Isabella was quite surprised but thrilled to find out that she had been chosen as the Slytherin Quidditch Co-Captain, however she was even more thrilled to find out that one of her best friends, Andrew Bruke, was going to be the other Co-Captain. It was perfect that they were really good friends so they could work well together. Shortly after the team had been chosen Isabella and Andrew had discussed that they needed to get the team working early and hard, because truth be told, they had a lot going against them. Firstly they didn't have alternates, but were currently recruiting them, and secondly, their team seemed to contain mostly younger students. This didn't stop the two Slytherins from thinking they had a shot, they would just have to make sure they worked their butts off.

On the day of the scheduled practice, Isabella wore a simple work out outfit and grabbed her Emerald Streak as she ran excitedly to the pitch. She knew Andrew had informed the other members or practice so she hoped they showed up on time so they could get right to work. She was annoyed that Adira had been on the team but Isabella's determination for Slytherin to win would have to overcome her hatred for the 'Goth Gang.'

When she got to the Pitch she was tempted to just go up into the air and fly already but decided to just stretch for now as she waited for the rest of her teammates.

Adira made her way down to the Quidditch pitch it was the first practice of the season and Adira couldn't wait she had her new Comet Two sixty with her, her father had gotten her name engraved into her broom in gold, she loved it. In her other hand was a Beaters Bat that her father got Atelic to bring back from Spain before Atelic had to go back to her Grandparents, the bat had a tinge of emerald green through it, it matched her broom almost perfectly.
Adira wore her usual green jeans and shirt tied up, today she felt like being a bit different and had a tight Dark green long sleeved V-neck on tied up at the front.
Adira walked onto the pitch to see Isabella standing there "great" she murmered to herself as she walked over to her. Adira looked at her as she made her way over to her, she lent on her broom and just stared at her, he emerald green eyes seemed to be filled with mischeif.
"So" she said as she continued to stare at her. "this is going to be one fun year"

Andrew woke up early that morning because he couldn't control his excitement about Qudditch. He was playing as a chaser and was also the Co-Captain. Another happy thing was Isabella Chaos, a good friend of Andrew was the other captain. He wore his house Qudditch Robes, he knew it was just practice but he preffered to go in the right outfit anywhere he went.

He walked to the Qudditch Pitch, his Emerald Streak in his hands. He looked at the sky, it was a fine cloudless morning and the sun was shining on them. Nice for flying he thought smiling to himself. He noticed Isabella and another girl, whose named if he recalled correctly was Adira were already here. "Hey Girls" he said with a dazzling smile. He noticed that he and Isabella shared the same kind of broom, the Emerald Streak.

"Sophia, Larissa and Hoshi stepped forward to be alternates and I took them in" he informed Bella. They had pinned up notices in the Common room that they were in need of alternates and some people that had showed interest were short listed by Andrew and he had selected these three. "They should be showing up at the pitch" he added with a smile.

With the broom positioned on his shoulders, with both hands slung casually over them, Henric Lee walked forward with slow, deliberate steps, his eyes passive as he scanned the grassy area before him. As ever, his face was hidden behind his solid facade and emotionless demeanour.
His movements halted, and he swept his broom to the ground in one hand, tilting the end up like a spear as he walked silently towards the group that had already managed to gather there. His angled brows and smooth and dispassionate as he scanned the Pitch with a neutral expression, surveying each and every one of those gathered and casting a bit of analysis on them individually, from the way they held themselves, the broom they had, and their position as stated in the list.

Satisfied, he stopped directly before Andrew and tilted his head down to the older boy in a polite nod, then raised his head and flashed him a charming smile. "Henric Lee. Reporting." He purred.

Toni was more than just excited that it was now the first Qudditch Practice. She had finally made the team something that she had wanted to do even before the sorting ceremony. Now she was just hoping that she would be as good as she claimed to be with all her friends around. Keeper was her spot. How she loved that spot. How it held importance and what she believed to be the most noticable. The spot light it was.

This Slytherin began to get ready for the practice. She put on a pair of form fitting yoga pants and a nice black tank top along with an easy pulled over white sweatshirt that was zippered open. Yes Toni was ready. Pulling her hair into a messy bun, Toni grabbed one of the older students brooms, that she was allowed to borrow, and made her way out towards the pitch.

As her shoes hit the grass of the quidditch she looked around to see that there was already quite a few people out on the pitch, Isabella, Andrew, Adira, and Henric. Make the best of this She thought smiling as she approached the group. "Hello" She said as she held the broom in one hand more than thrilled to be at this situation, at this practice.

Abbey was as sick as a dog, but a meeting for Quidditch had been called, and she was determined to attended, it was the first practise after all, she didn't want to let her team down, she after all was Seeker, the position that she thought held the most importance. So, she pulled on a pair of black shorts, a nyon pink tank top and a pair of comfortable shoes, and put on medium sized black TNA hoodie. She popped in an advil in her mouth to try to stop her pounding head ache, grabbed her wand and Emerald Streak.

I hope Theodore doesn't show up, she thought as she arrived, a little relieved that everyone else seemed to be in similar appearal as herself. The Seeker stood amoungst her team mates, and said nothing due to the sore throat she had at the current moment. Quietly she coughed once, and shivered before giving Bella a trying grin. She pulled up her hair into a perfect pony tail, sure that there weren't any bumps portruding from hair. Even though she felt like poop she didn't want her appearance to suffer. Boy, I've become vain, she thought with a roll of her tired violet eyes, a little upset that she had forgotten to put any concealer on that would hide the bags under her eyes. She knew that she would become healthier if she slept, but she couldn't, not ever. No, Abigail Lurken, did not, would not, sleep again.

Larissa arrived for Quidditch practise at the instructed time.
She was upset she'd been ill during the tryouts. It had been her heart's desire to make the team.
But Larissa, who had decided after many first years had visited the hospital wing, that her anger should have a stopper placed in it for the time being as she had been fortunate enough to become an alternative.

Larissa walked onto the pitch happily- She wore a plain black t-shirt and a pair of slightly scruffy jeans. She wore a pair of blue and white trainers and her hair was scruffily tied back.
She smiled as she joined the group, Nimbus 2001 in hand.
Her mother had bought it for Larissa's 13th birthday.
"Hello Adira," Larissa said, giving her a smile.
She nodded towards the others and gave a small smile to Andrew.
"When do we start?"

Hoshi put her firey red hair in a pony tail and put herself in jeans and a shirt that had the Okinawa Typhoons on the back. She walked out to the Quiddich Pitch with her top of the line Firebolt she had brought with her from Japan. Hoshi had missed reguler try-outs because she was taking care of some... Busness with Professor M. She had talked to Andrew though who she got along with pretty well. Unfourutently she head read on the bulliten bored that Isabella, The Hive Mother, was co-captin.

Hoshi sucked it up though. She walked up to the crowd of Slytherins and held her hand up for Larissa and Adira to hit. She saw Toni there and flashed her a friendlyish smile. In the public eye Hoshi and Toni here Ok with each other. Not best friends but Ok. Secretly Hoshi disliked her. She hated Isabella but after the trouble they had at Halloween she was sure that Isabella as much as Hoshi would want to avoid any confrentation for a while. That was good for the team she soppoed. "Hey everyone." She said brightly.

Hoshi did her best to ingnore a curten wax work figure that was made to look like a boy and charmed to walk and talk like a normal person. It helped Hoshi to insult him in her mind. It made the ping still felt when she saw him go away. She needed it to go way. "So are we waiting for anyone?" She asked looking around.

Sophia was not entirely sure what she was doing. Sure she loved Quidditch, but was being an alternate on the Slytherin team really worth her while? Sure it might help her chances of getting onto a professional team, but what would she have to put up with until then? The co-captains were both years younger than her, as was the rest of the team. But Sophia was determined to have as good a time as possible. Surely there was some fun to be had here.

Dressed in a pair of jeans, green t-shirt, grey track jacket, and white sneakers the noirette made her way down to the pitch. She had her black leather messenger bag slung across her torso and her Emerald Streak resting on her shoulder. Sophia had pulled her hair back into an uncharacteristic ponytail and was feeling good.

Stepping onto the pitch the seventh year made her way over to where the rest of the team was assembled. She stood beside them without a word, not really sure what she was supposed to be doing, if anything. Sophia would definitely not be sad if she were to sit on the sidelines today.

At first it had never been Sterling's plan to join the Quidditch team. Really he didn't want any part in school sponsered activties. This Slytherin was not even close to being one for school spirit. Yet when the board in the common room had said that the team was looking for an alternate, this eleven year old boy decided that he might as well get in contact with a co captain and see what an alternate really had to do.

After having it explained to him, Sterling knew this would be the perfect choice. This way he was still on the team, got to gloat about being on the team, it helped his ego and appearance towards others. Maybe even he could use this to impress the others mostly the limited amount of girls, well really just Ava. The girl that Sterling seemed to have found interest in.

The morning was a nice one, as Sterling made his way onto the pitch meeting with the group that seemed to be meeting already. Two boys and a bunch of girls, ages varied. Yet this first year did notice a rather old student seventh year possibly that was on the pitch. He knew since he had contacted the captains that the older student was not a captain. Something about this was odd for this young boy for he found the older students usually got the higher positions. This isn't London this is New Zealand He thought holding back the eye roll. Still he was not content with how people acted over here. It was so much different than his home, not in the best way either.

"Well Hello" He said simply his brown eyes moving around the group focusing on each person for but a second. The choices for who was playing what was not easily seen in the eyes of this boy. Maybe he just wasn't good at picking out the players, or maybe it was all up into the air.

Andrew smiled to one after the other as the Slytherins came on to the pitch. He noticed their broom, everything was cool. When Larissa asked when they would start he replied with a smile "Just a few more members to come then we can practice."

Hoshi, Sohia and Sterling came to the pitch, now only Theodore was left. They could start and he could join them. He smiled at everyone as he said "Theodore can join us as he comes" and then looked at Isabella. "I suppose we divide ourselves and practice" he said to her.

"We'll have two teams, Mine and Isabella's" he started as he looked once again at everyone before he continued. Andrew and Bella had discussed this in the common room and hoped that this kind of practice would help them.

"We will basically be playing the game. Only that.." he turned looking at the alternates they had choose. "We need to decide what positions you play best, we'll have one alternate seeker, a beater, chaser and a keeper" he told them. "For now Hoshi you can play beater, Larissa keeper" he looked at Sterling and Sophia "Sophia would you like to be alternate seeker?"he asked her with respect. It was a bit sad that Sophia was the eldest of them all yet she was an alternate. "Sterling you can be chaser"

He turned to Isabella and whispered in her ear "Help me with this"

Isabella didn't comment to Adira as she spoke to her, choosing to ignore her as it was best that way. Bella picked her hair up into a messy ponytail, as long as her hair was out of her face and she grinned at all the new team members that were quickly arriving. She hated that she'd have to be working with the 'Goth Gang' but it made her feel better that she had authority over them, not that she was going to abuse her authority and get it revoked. She was smarter than that. After making a quick headcount she saw that only Theo was missing but she hoped he wouldn't be much later since they all seemed eager to start. Isabella noticed the eldest girl, Sophia Stark, whom she had heard a lot about, and wondered if she had wanted to play Quidditch, why she had not tried out for the team during tryouts but everyone had their reasons. Bella remembered Professor Manteia saying that the positions he had assigned everyone were just suggestions and that the Captains could switch people around if they really wanted to, and Isabella was tempted to immediately replace Adira with the seventh year Sophia - but that would've been an abuse of her authority. She didn't even know if Sophia played Beater, so that was ruled out.

Isabella watched Andrew begin to explain how they'd split up as they had discussed previously and nodded her head. When Andrew turned for her to take over, Isabella put her hands on her hips and said, "Right, so here are the divided teams, that were randomly selected," she clarified.

"On Team A,
Keeper - Toni
Chaser - Isabella
Chaser - Sterling
Beater - Adira
Seeker - Abbey

On Team B,
Keeper - Larissa
Chaser - Andrew
Chaser - Henric
Beater - Hoshi
Seeker - Sophia?"

Isabella read out the list, and said, "The only problem is the one extra Beater position, Theo," she stated, coincidentally the one that was missing from practice so far. "I suppose he'll alternate," she said with a shrug, hoping that they got around to playing more than one practice round. She recalled how they had placed the alternates and addressed them saying, "If any of you would rather switch positions with someone let us know," she smiled politely. "There are two options you can go with - you can either practice one position and learn it really well, or practice a little of them all so in case any player is for some reason unable to play, you'd be ready to go in no matter what!" Isabella explained to them, waiting for a response.

Adira knew Isabella hated that she was on the team, and that her two other friends were alternatives which was great for her really. Adira gave Hoshi a high five when she same in and smiled "Hey Hoshi" she said as she stopped leaning on her broom.
when Isabella and Andrew slowly put people into Teams Adira smirked "i'll try not hit you with a bludger" she said as she swung her bat backwards and forwards slightly and gave a small smile.
Adira cracked her neck slightly, she didn't feel like alternating positions, the only thing she liked to do was to be a beater. Adira loved being a beater, it wa a great way for her to get rid of stress and wanting to hit other people if she was hitting bludgers.

Theodore tiredly made his way onto the Quidditch pitch with his brand new Emerald Streak and his beater's bat within his hand. He was embarrased that he was late, but he hadn't been feelign well and was just released fromt he Hospital wing yesterday. He noticed that practice had already started and ran his way over.

"So sorry I'm late, I've been in the hospital wing sick so I didn't know we had practice." Theodore shylyrubbed the back of his neck and sighed before mounting his broom. He figured they already had the teams set up and he was most likely going to be a an alternate since he was late. He rudely glared at the other beater on the team before he kicked off the ground and began to hover on his broom. The little goth brats were all talk and no game.

"Hope I wasn't replaced or anything." Theodore twirled his beater's bat around before aimlessly, he didn't even like to consider that he was probably replaced with the girl whos hair reminded him roughly of a tomatoe. Theodore let his hands wander away form holding his broom stick and looked casually at the team captains to see what was going to happen.

Sophia kept her expression blank as she listened. Not even her wide grey eyes betrayed any emotion. Despite being the oldest she was not in charge, and the seventh year did not want to appear to have a problem with this. She had not tried out, it was her own fault she was just an alternate. But hey, it was something.

The noirette tried not to grimace when Andrew suggested she play Seeker. Sure she was thin, but Sophia was not exactly short at 5'7". Seekers were usually smaller members of the team. The Slytherin was proficient at every other position, but she knew she could learn.

"Seeker is not my best position, but I will play it if needed," the seventh year stated plainly, her face still emotionless.

Isabella heard Sophia's response that Seeker was not her best position so Isabella thought of how best to accommodate everyone. She remembered Sterling saying that he was available for any position but Keeper so Isabella thought of switching the two positions. She turned to Sterling and Sophia specifically and asked, "Would you two prefer switching positions?" If so they'd also switch teams. Since Sophia was oldest, Isabella assumed she had the most experience of course, so she wanted to put her in a position she was best at to help their team, not hinder it.

Abbey shot a glare at Theodore as he arrived at the pitch, and muttered under her breath, "Excuses." She rolled her violet eyes as coldly as ever and then put her attention back onto Isabella and Andrew, noticing from the corner of her eyes an older, and much taller girl speak about being a Seeker. She was not surprised that Seeker was not her best position, as the taller players were not usually seeker, and as a girl of only 5' 1" it did make sense for her to be a Seeker she thought, and because she had skill, a lot of it, most of it was inherited as well.

Hoshi heard the pratice teams announced with a stright face. She was in the same team as Larissa, Andrew and most of the other people she liked or knew but there was one flaw. Henric Lee! Hoshi imedetly wanted to rase her hand and yell 'I want to switch teams!' but that would have been showing weakness. Hoshi instead nodded in Isabella and Andrew's direction.

She smirked at Adira. "Worry about yourself girly. You maybe a friend but I show no mercy." She said. She saw that Snow boy again and rolled her eyes as he eyed her flaming red hair. She didn't care. She didn't change her hair color every other month to get anyone's apprvel. Something that she was sure was one of the things that the Hive Mother disliked about her.

Adira smirked "Girly HA" she said "i'm the least girly person here" smiling Adira continued "so your fine with a few bruises" she said teasing her. Adira stretched her arms allowing her shoulders to crack slowly before swinging her arms back down by her side. i must get Father to get me a uniform' she said to herself. "oh Hoshi by the way, Nice hair, you should go with different coloured streaks next" she said

Sophia was about to answer the other captain - what was her name? Oh, Isabella, - when a couple of the girls started speaking. It was unbelievable to hear them going back and forth so disrespectfully. This was a Quidditch practice, and everyone here was on the same team. How disappointing that these girls were the future of Slytherin.

"I would be fine with that," the noirette replied, wondering what the boy would say. She did not know his name and therefore had no idea what position he was in, but anything was better than Seeker.

Larissa was glad to be on Hoshi's 'team'.
She awaited the chance to set off, anxiously.
Larissa listened to Adira and Hoshi and rolled her sparkling blue eyes.
"Ladies, ladies, at least wait for the game to start!" Larissa said, showing her white teeth and winking a little as she laughed.

"Let's take it to the skies..." Henric murmured, holding up his hand and allowing the broom to sweep up onto his grasp. Taking hold of the shaft with a firm hand, the pale boy turned and strode down towards his allocated 'team', giving them all warm smiles that would disarm any normal woman, but his gaze flitted right over Hoshi, as if she wasn't there.

Sterling listened as the team captains told the each player which position and team they would play on. At first, before this practice, Sterling thought there was only one team, the Slytherin quidditch team. Yet once the girl named Isabella began speaking of teams A and B, Sterling guessed A was the main team and B was the alternate. Though that made no sense since each co captain was on a separate team. Maybe they were just break up teams for practice. Doesn't matter Sterling thought happy enough that he was playing chaser, the position of his choice.

However the one older girl who by the conversation Sterling overheard her name to be Sophia, he was soon being questioned as to wheter or not he was going to play that certain position. Seeker or Chaser seemed to be his option. Seekers got more attention. Don't they He thought trying to figure out which position now would give him the needed spotlight that he craved.

"Seeker is fine with me" Sterling said flashing the older girl a friendly smile. Luckily as this whole conversation was going on yet another boy joined the team practice. At least the teams wasn't entirely girls. Now Sterling wasn't sexist at all but he did like to have at least some male figures around.

Simply he rolled his eyes as the girls who seemed to all be second years. They all seemed to be friends of sort to be talking as they did. The simple smile remained on this Slytherin boy's face as he held the broom walking for the captain to tell them it was time to go into the air, fly, something Sterling had not done since his meeting with Ava.

Isabella did her best not to snap at the 'Goth Gang' who were chatting away as she was trying to figure out the best positions for the alternates so they could have a good practice. She smiled in relief when Sophia and Sterling seemed to be okay with the switch and Isabella nodded her head to Henric's comment. She turned back to the three girls she despised and said, "This is a team practice and just because we're not dealing directly with you at the moment doesn't mean you can zone out," she snapped at them. Seriously she wasn't here to babysit them. It was a shame neither Sterling nor Sophia preferred Beater, that way she could replace Adira with either of them and all three of the 'Goth Gang' would be alternates and shut them up with a little demotion. Isabella looked at her friend and fellow captain Andrew with a pleading look, as if asking him to please deal with them from now on because her patience was running thin with them.

Feeling a little tempered she picked up her Emerald Streak and turned to the entire team, "Right, now up in the air," she commanded shortly. She felt bad that she was 'snapping' at the entire team due to the three annoying second years but she hoped that a good fly around the pitch would calm her nerves down. She mounted her broom and kicked off hard from the ground, inhaling the fresh air as she waited for the team to follow. "Take the lead," she told Andrew with a nod of her head, feeling like she had done enough talking for now.

Theodore rolled his eyes at the bickering Second years as she hovered from above. He couldn't understand how they managed to be the rival Clique of his sisters with them being as dysfunctional as they were. They seemed to care more about over-shining one another then being part of a team and trying to practice.

"Can you three just shut up and act like a team for half an hour so we can practice!" Theodore snapped as he rested his Beater's bat in his lap. And glanced at the Captains, mostly Isabella because he knew she had something against Hoshi's little gang, not that he was sure anyone particularly liked them much either. Theodore glanced at Abbey from the corner of his eyes before looking away scoffing. He wished she would just stop being so rude to him, or at least he acknowledge that she didn't hate him.
