This was hardly his first dance with Blair, but it was his first proper dance as her boyfriend. It was all very odd, and he felt a little out of his depth with it, but it was here and happening and he was sure they were likely to have a perfect time. Hopefully it would be a little less awkward that the yuleball, but they had an advantage of actually having moved forward in things. Branson had dressed in a formal suit, making sure it had fit him well. He'd tamed his hair and was making sure he looked presentable. He was waiting by the entrance to the hall, looking in and watching all of the people already dancing in their pairs and having people they could dance with. He was excited to join them, to hold Blair's hand and kiss her. He knew she wouldn't be taking too much longer.
