Belladonna Metzger thought it was pretty unfair that Benjamin got to go to Hogwarts a whole year earlier than she did. True he was born first, but Bell still didn't like the idea of it. How on earth was she going to last a whole year by herself? She wasn't. Ben was not only her big brother, but he was also her partner in crime. Well it might be a little more like, he was the person who took the heat when Bell was into some trouble, which she often was. Belladonna was fiery, impatient, and had a tendency not to think before she did things. But at the same time she could be really caring, loyal, and trusting to those she was close with. Ben managed to get stuck in the middle, where Bell cared enough to protect him from anything, but at the same time he was also pretty easy to blame things on. Now he was gone and Bell knew that she was really going to get into trouble a lot this year. The things Bell did she wasn't sure why they got her into trouble. Never did she bully anyone, or steal things. Belladonna wound up doing little things like getting paint on the floor, playing soccer in the house, or dressing up the family pet. They weren't truly awful things, but things that a normal child often did. "Dad, I'm going to walk around a little bit. I won't go too far, promise!" Bella told her dad she noticed the familiar sign of a toy store up ahead. Bell was still only ten years old, so of course the thought of toys was really exciting to her. The blonde stopped right in front of the window and peered inside. Maybe if she pleaded enough, she could talk her daddy into buying her some.
Bella saw that her dad was not too far behind so he would see her if she went inside and quickly dashed inside. As long as he knew where she was, hopefully he wouldn't get mad at her for wandering around without him by her side. A small smile graced Belladonna's lips. There were so many toys. Dolls, toy trains, even little broomsticks. Out of the corner of eyes, Bella noticed a china tea set out of the corner of her eye, and her mouth fell. Despite her trouble making ways, Bella was still quite girly. "Oh this tea set is just so beautiful! My dad has to get it for me! If he doesn't....I will forever be miserable!" Well that was kind of a lie, but Bell wanted it that bad. Belladonna saw her dad outside the window and wanted to get his attention so she could tell him that she wanted the tea set. If she bat her little eyelashes and loved on him enough, maybe he would buy it for her. However, as she turned to run back out of the shop and get her dad, Belladonna roughly slammed into someone else. "Ah!" Belladonna fell back and landed on the floor. Perhaps she should have actually paid attention as she tried to leave, but she had just gotten so excited to tell her dad. Her teal eyes drifted over and saw that she had run into a young boy. Probably around her age or her brother's. Bell got back up off the floor and glanced out the window. Crap! Where did her dad go? "Er...sorry! Totally didn't see you there!" Bell looked again, her dad was nowhere to be seen. He must have passed by the shop. Great, now she was never going to get the tea set she wanted. Belladonna frowned and sighed, well this stunk something fierce.
