Closed Finding a Hobby

Adorah spread out art supplies and began sketching the outline of a tree. Quilling was a new hobby for her, but it had helped with her anxiety significantly this year. She felt that she was better able to concentrate on her school work when she had a way to wind down. After sketching a simple outline of the tree, she began to roll up a different shades of green paper, applying adhesive, and laying them around the leaves area to see how it would look. She continued to fill the page until all the leaves were full and started on the trunk. There were other students in the room, but she enjoyed the white noise surrounding her.

Exams were coming up and Selene was getting nervous. she wanted to do well in them but felt like hse could not remember a single thing from her classes. surprisingly she had been sleeping well this week. so this afternoon she had decided to postpone her usual bedtime and instead spend time catching up with study in the lounge. she hoped that the change of scenery would help her concentration. It seeemd like a lot of people had the same thought. there were a few tables with spaces on them but none that were completely free. she walked over to one of them and took a seat setting her things out ready to study for history of magic. the topics this year were ancient civilisations which were interesting but not as good as the salem trials last year. just hitnking of the salem trials made her think of her last holiday and that brought a smile to her face.
She shook her head her curls bouncing as she shook and looked at the girl she was shairing the table with to make sure she wasnt beeng looked at funnily. thankfully the girl was engrosed in what she was doing with paper. she watched for a minute. "what are you doing" she asked. she had never seen anyone doing this before and she wondered what it was.
