Chase had almost never attended any sort of party at his own school. If he had, he had mostly stuck to the sidelines by himself. Part of the students had been buzzing with excitement over the upcoming Halloween feast though and he had promised himself he would at least go and see what all the fuss was about. If he didn't like it he could easily leave. He had put little effort into his costume and yet with a shirt, hat and a pair of glasses he had turned himself into Wally. He did wonder if any of the kids who had grown up in magical communities would even know what he was but the reality was that he didn't really care. He wasn't there for any of them. He was there for himself. Chase had to admit he was slightly impressed by how they had managed to decorate the great hall. Then again, with the help of a little magic he reckoned anything was possible. His eye fell on the tent and he casually strolled over, his lips curling up into the tiniest amused grin as he looked at one of the moving skeletons.

Lennox was not the biggest fan of Halloween, but she did enjoy a good party. She had not been to one in what felt like forever. Although no party could compare to the one Mimi put on. With all the important people and expensive food. Hogwarts just could not compare to that, even if they had tried their best. The problem was everyone was invited and not just the best of the best. That was one thing that made a party special. But Lennox would take what she could get. At least it was a chance to wear one of her gowns and call herself a princess. Not like she wasn't always a princess.

The Slytherin girl wandered around the Great Hall. She would not do the bobbing for apples and would not dare do a pinata like a baby. She chose to go into the Haunted Tent. It wasn't as scary as she would have expected. She walked past a moving skeleton and a boy who didn't look dressed up at all. "How cheesy is this place? It's almost pathetic" she said rolling her eyes at the skeletons. They were impressive in a way, but she would never admit that. With all the magic in this school, they should have been even more frightening.

Chase had to admit he quite liked Halloween. He hadn't ever done much except for staying home and watching scary movies but he could still enjoy the holliday. He had just never had to put much effort into dressing up because he didn't get out anyways. He turned his head when someone spoke up. "Dunno, I quite like the skeletons." Chase responded with a shrug of his shoulders. If this girl wasn't impressed than his advice would be to turn around and leave. That's what his plan was for when he got tired of the feast. He just wasn't sure how long that was going to take.

Lennox instantly realized why she often did not talk to people. No on at Hogwarts seemed interesting enough in the slightest, not like her of course. She shrugged her shoulders at the boy's response. "Just thought they'd just put in a little more.." she paused for a moment "effort into all this" she said motioning around. The fun house mirrors looked like cheap knock offs, even if the rest of the tent was fun enough. She wouldn't allow herself to enjoy this nonexclusive party too much though. "I didn't come last year though so maybe this is just how it is every year" she added. She could say so much about this place. She had so many grievances, especially with her classes. Hogwarts actually had a class that made them get dirty and deal with screaming ugly plants that could kill you. This place needed a big change.
