Fifth Years: Lesson Six

It was hard to believe that another year had gone by already, but the lingering chill in the greenhouse each morning was enough to show the passage of time, not to mention the lingering threat of exams across the whole school. Angel swore he could physically feel the stress coming off of some the upper level students especially.

Just a review class today,” Angel said passively as the class got settled. He figured the students were probably as relieved for a study break as he was for a teaching break. “If you wanna go study out on the lawn or something, feel free, just try to pretend to be working if anyone sees you,” he said, waving a hand dismissively. “I’ll be around as well if you need something,” he finished, grabbing his book and reclining back in his chair in the front, happy to let the class do what they needed well he got some time himself to relax.

Post attendance. All lessons will be open until exams end

This term has been pretty great. Gryffindor had won the Quidditch championship, Teddy was three times dueling champion, and patrolling with Veronica had been a little more bearable the last few weeks since she snogged Ten. Teddy was using any other time he had to prep for OWLs, so a revision session was very welcome. Teddy stayed in the classroom and reviewed his notes for the hour then at the end, he packed up and left. This was it now, OWLs were the next thing to happen.

Lucy was chuffed with (almost) everything, despite how quidditch had ended up going. She had a girlfriend and that was more than enough for her. Exams, however, were dragging her down in the way they almost always did. She was buckling under the pressure of OWLs especially, but was determined to do her best at the very least. She came to the greenhouse expecting an opportunity to revise and glad she got it. Lucy settled down and did some revision before the lesson ended.

Marley arrived in her Herbology class and took a seat. She then took out the stuff she needed for the lesson and placed it in front of her. The Hufflepuff moved her attention towards the professor as the professor started off with the lesson. Marley was grateful for the revision lesson. She knew she had to focus on her OWLs, even though she spent most of her free time on OWLs. The Hufflepuff got to work and studied for her OWLs. Looking through her notes, textbooks, and whatnot.

It wasn't long before the lesson had come to an end and they were dismissed. Marley quickly packed up her things, said a quick and appreciative thanks and goodbye to the professor before heading out of the classroom with her friends and the rest of her classmates.

Aura honestly was tempted to take Angel up on his offer of studying outside, but she also wasn’t overly that interested in doing anything at all this week. She wasn’t particularly worried about Herbology anyway, since it wasn’t specifically a class she was interested in any more than just wanting to know a little about plants, because she did think it was important to have at least a basic knowledge of them. She skimmed over the revision notes she’d made this year, and added a couple of extra things quietly, hopefully she will have done enough for the exams.

Millie walked into the greenhouse and sighed as she stood in front of her station probably for the last time this year. She’d managed to memorise most of the material for her OWLS so she wasn’t too worried about the upcoming exams. She did worry a little about Veronica, she’d been under a lot of pressure, but she was sure winning the Gryffindor Quidditch Cup and catching that final snitch will have made her feel better. She glanced around at her classmates, and worked on creating a study guide that she probably wasn’t going to use. She didn’t liked Study breaks, she found them unneccessary, but she wasn’t going to complain about a class she had free reign in.
