Alexander's experience in Hogwarts was something out of this world. He was still getting used to this world that had suddenly had to become real to him. He still did as much research as he could, but there was always still something in the wizarding world that had confused him, especially the moving portraits that were hung around the school and the game Quidditch. That sport looked interesting, though it was something he'd probably never understand. Alex had wanted to spend the day with drawing and writing in his journal. He had walked around the Hogwarts grounds to find a nice place to sit. He had found a place underneath a nice shady tree to sit, and started to draw in his journal.

Emmy had yet to venture into the Forest. They had said it was forbidden, and Emmy really didn't want to break any rules and get kicked out of school, but she was desperate to see what it was like in there. A peek wouldn't hurt, right? She wouldn't go too far in...just have a quick look around near the entrance. Standing by the stairs that lead out of the castle and across the lawn, Emmy shifted her backpack slightly on her back. She had all the things she needed. She even knew how to light up her wand if it got too dark. Emmy glanced around, before slowly making her way towards the forest. She made sure to keep a watch for anyone watching her; sure it was during the day but she figured it wouldn't be a good idea if she tried to go at night. Her eyes fell on a familiar face under a tree, and for some reason, her feet turned and walked towards him instead. Perhaps she was looking for an excuse to not go? Maybe she just didn't want to go alone. She gave the forest another look before plonking herself down in front of the boy. "Hey - Alex right?" She remembered him from before Hogwarts.

Alexander was so into his own world, that he hadn't heard anyone walking towards him until he had heard someone speak. He jumped a little, a little surprised from hearing a voice, as he hadn't really expected anyone to talk to him. Alexander looked up to see who it was, and realized it was one of the girls he vaguely remembers meeting at the park, before Hogwarts. "Oh, h-hey. Yeah t-that's me" Alexander stuttered out with a small nod and smile. "Emmy, r-right?"

Emmy shifted her backpack off of her shoulders, her body apparently now settled on the ground; maybe her subconscious was telling her body what to do instead of her - she thought she wanted to go into the forest, but perhaps her subconscious knew better. Emmy nodded her head, glad she had remembered the boy's name right, and he had remembered hers. "Yeah! Seen any more ghosts recently?" Emmy joked, remembering their first meeting where she had run away from a ghost. They were still scary, but there were a few around the school so she was starting to get used to it.

Alexander laughed a little when the girl had mentioned about meeting ghosts, which had reminded him about the time they had met. He closed his journal and focused his full attention onto Emmy. "Are you e-enjoying Hogwarts so far? Its h-huge!" Alexander says to Emmy, as he looked around his surroundings of the school. Even though they had been at this school for a few weeks, Alexander was still not used to the school. With the moving portraits, where the classrooms were, it had gotten him overwhelmed sometimes when thinking about it.
