Rhiannon was excited. she couldn't believe how well everything was falling into place. from being the slightly geeky girl she was now exactly where she had hoped to be in life. She was a doctor the job she had dreamed of having since she was a child, she was a healer, a doctor who could use magic. She had a boyfriend that she loved who she was about to move in with. and they had just bought a new house and today was the day they were moving in. She smiled as she put the last few things from her unit into a box. she had been packing in her free time ever since she had been offered the job at St mungos. so most things were in boxes and all she had left were her work clothes, a few other changes, some plates and cups and basic toiletries. She had been surprised she had only been in the apartment for two years but she had accumulated a lot of stuff. she wasn't sure quite how she would be moving things magic would be certain. she was also lucky that the people in the apartment next to hers were on holiday so the cracks and bangs of apparition would not be too hard to cover. especially if she put some music on.
She picked up one bag held her wand tight she turned on the spot and apparated out her apartment, out of melborne, out of australia and onto the driveway of their new house. they had agreed to meet at the same time so that they could make the first entry together. the house was not a fancy one, it was old but she knew from when they had bought it that despite the slightly rundown exterior it had recently been renovated inside. it was in the perfect location in a wizarding community just outside obsidian where they would be able to use magic as and when they wanted without having to find alleys to disparate, and where they would be able to walk into the harbour or to work if they wanted to. she felt a smile cross her face. she hoped that they would be happy here, and that moving in had not been too much of a rush.

Tybalt had had full confident in Rhi, and had just known that she would be more than capable to get the job in St. Mungoes, but when she had everything had just started moving at a pace that previous in Ty’s life it hadn’t. He had always just been marching along with life, in a good place but never challenging it much further than he need to. It was good though, for so long he had wanted a little of that life, of being with someone, of always having someone to come home to - when their schedules would allow it. Of having someone to share all of the stories of the day with. Of a place to invite his family and enjoy all of them. He hadn’t really expected to find it when he’d run into Rhi, but he was pretty thankful for it too. She was just amazing and he knew that everything would be just amazing with her.
Now, he had handed his noticed to his current flat and they had bought a place together in New Zealand. They would be living together in a house, not some flat, it was a little old looking at the front but nice enough inside that the projects he could gain on working on the exterior would be the extent of the work he would have to do. He had packed up all of his things, charming the boxes for each room to be endless and lightly so that he only had a few. He was ready to go and had already apparated with a few boxes to the new location, leaving them on the garden exterior, he had the last box with him, at exact the time that he had agreed to meet with Rhi. He’d apparated and spotted her immediately. He smiled fondly, placing down the box and walking the short distance over to her, ”Hey honey,” he greeted warmly placing a quick kiss on her cheek and wrapping his arms around her in a hug. ”You ready?” He asked her with a soft tone, ”Do I carry you over that threshold, or is that just for when we’re married?” he asked, a joke in his tone. He didn’t think marriage was necessarily on his mind for them right now, but he was fully committed to Rhi that he believed at some point he would propose.

Rhiannon had hardly been there one minute when she heard Tybalt arrive. "Hey Ty' she said as he kissed her cheek she hugged him back. this was going to be a huge day even without all the moving and shifting of heavy boxes. there would be a lot of unpacking as they combined their two individual lives into one. she wondered how many duplicates of things they would have.
she let go and took hold of his hand. at his question, she nodded. "as ready as ever" she said squeezing his hand slightly. looking at him and chuckling slightly at the comment about carrying her across the threshold. "slow down" she said in response to his question. moving in together did not mean that they were about to get married though she had no intention of anything happening to their relationship she just thought of marriage as being a far and distant thing. "Save your carrying for the furniture. but we should enter together" she said as they made their way towards the door. "you have got the key right?" she said. she hoped that he had it somewhere safe and easily accessible not at the bottom of one of the boxes. as this was a magic neighbourhood the use of a key was not really necessary it was something she had as a habit and it had more of a ceremonial feel than charming the door to open.

Tybalt smiled at her as she hugged him back. It did feel nice to finally be moving in together, to have put a large amount on buying a house together, they would be able to decorate how they wanted, build a whole life how they wanted to, ensuring that everything was good for them. Tybalt laughed lightly at her response, of course that would be in the future, a decision for them to make down the line and not currently. The man nodded, ”Of course,” he didn’t particularly understand why she had wanted to get a key in a magical neighbourhood but he hadn’t really questioned it too much. He had just gotten the key like she had wanted. He reached into the pocket of his jeans and pulled out the key for the place. Holding it up to her with a smile, ”Do you want to do the honours?” he asked offering her the key and then heading towards the door. He got to the door and waited for her to open the door so that they could cross the threshold together by he already had his wand in hand to summon all of the boxes to follow him into the house, but the fanfare would have to go first. It was very exciting, he had really not thought he would have this for a while. Stuck in a bachelor flat for all of his life. But, this was so much better than that. Living with Rhi would be amazing.

Rhiannon knew the key was not a particularly useful tool in a magical neighbourhood but after so long living in a muggle one it just felt weird not to use one. besides, there was something reassuring about having a key in your pocket to remind you that you had just spent all your money on a house. and if her parents ever came to visit then they would need a key.
she took the key as they neared the door. she could not believe that this was actually happening. she put it in the keyhole and turned. hearing the click as the door unlocked its self. are you ready she said as the door opened. they were standing quite literally on the threshold of their new life together. she took his hand and stepped through the doorway with him. this was it. It felt like the start of proper adult life.
they stepped down the hallway and boxes followed them in distributing themselves to different rooms. a far easier process than her last move had been. even if she had used a bit of magic to make things lighter she couldn't have boxes flying to rooms in her apartment building. "so how do you want to do this? she asked. she still had most of her things in Melbourne and it would take a couple of trips to get them across. but she could apparate directly into the apartment to save carrying it through the stairs. but she should probably be seen taking at least a couple of boxes away for appearance's sake. should they get her things then unpack or unpack his then get hers then unpack.

Tybalt nodded as she opened the door with the key and then took his hand and they walked into the place. It felt like oddly ceremonial, and a little pointless but it felt right, it felt like the right way to take this step with her. He grinned at her as they stopped in the hallway of their new home. He felt like they had picked right, this home would be perfect for them, more spacious than any bachelor apartment that he had had. The man just looked at her, ”We can bring my stuff in easily with a spell,” he said taking out his wand and holding it lightly in his hand. ”Then we can go to yours, and just start moving boxes. We can go to the usual apparition stop close to the apartment, so people can see you move out?” he proposed, once they apparated here with the boxes it would be easier to bring them in. He thought it would be best to get everything there in one go, and then spend the rest of the time unpacking. There would be time after they’d finished unpacking to figure out then what items they had too many off and what ones they would need. ”Do you have any other ideas?” she had been living in the muggle world longer than he had at this point, so she might have a slightly better plan than him, given that he hadn’t really had to worry about muggles and what he did around them in a long while. He was just pretty amazed that all of this, the empty house would become their home.

Rhiannon nodded when ty said his plan. "That sounds like a good plan" she said. she couldn't believe that this house was theirs and that they would be living together and working in the same place. it would take her a while to get used to being able to do things with magic again. she was so careful back at home, or rather her last home, that she often didn't use magic even for things that she probably could have done. because she didn't want to get in the habit of magic then slip up at work. even if she left her wand at home she was able to do things without it.
"we can apparate straight into the apartment as I technically haven't left it yet. and I hired a moving truck yesterday which is in the carpark which will give us somewhere closer to apparate out from" she said. It was a bit of a long plan. but she had been organised enough to think that far ahead. not that carrying the boxes would be much of a problem for them as they could make them featherlight. some of the furniture was a bit awkward to manoeuvre even if some of it could be shrunk to be put in a box. "we should get your boxes inside. she took a couple of steps towards the door as if to pick them up before she remembered where they were the then took her wand and waved it summoning one of the boxes towards her. it felt almost freeing to be able to magic in without thinking about it.

Tybalt smiled when she said it was a good plan - since he certainly liked to think so. He listened as she explained what she had planned for the muggle side. He had forgotten how complex it could sometimes be. Perhaps they were even being a little over cautious but he would much rather be over cautious in the muggle world than not. It would just be better for them to be so. Questions could be asked, or something could be said, or noticed and that would just make it much more difficult, ”Will you be driving it?” he asked with a little laugh. He knew that magical people didn’t need to bother to learn to drive cars and really it had been a long while since he had been in a car of any sort. He also was sure that she was unlikely to drive it. Someone else would come and collect it he was sure, where they would need to do nothing regarding it. The man watched as she went to pick up one of the boxes and let a light chuckle out when she realised she could use magic. He wondered if it was a little tricky to get back in the swing of using magic when she’d been using muggle things for so long. He held his own wand in his hand and started summoning the boxes to him, making quick work of having them come to him and then leading them to were they would need to be in the house. He had been very meticulous in making sure each box only had items for the room they were needed for. IT made things a whole lot easier in trying to get everything unpacked and it wasn’t as if the boxes were any heavier or lightly, not with magic.

Rhiannon was always the kind of person who could see problems and solutions easily. often having a solution to a problem ready to go before most people had even figured out the whole problem. maybe her plan was a little too much but that was just how she saw it. and surly when it came to the statute of secrecy it was better to be overly cautious than to slip up. especially when she had been so cautious for so long it would be a shame to slip up now. when he asked if she would be driving it she shrugged. "It needs to get back to the depot somehow" she said. getting her drivers licence had been another part of keeping up appearances. she didn't always drive to work. the parking was horrific. but she did occasionally. and did need to drive to any social activities. if she kept popping up on the other side of the city without a car. people would start to wonder. she helped sort though the boxes opening one seeing what was inside and sending it to the bathroom. the next went to the kitchen. the next she opened "Is this sitting room or study?" she asked. looking at the contents. this place was bigger than either of their previous houses which meant that they had extra rooms. one of the bedrooms was going to be more of a study as they both. needed to keep up with their study for work. once the rest of tybalts boxes were distributed she put down her wand "that was not as much hard work as i thought it would be. ready for part two" she asked. ready to apperate right into the sitting room of her appartment.

Tybalt grinned at her when she said she would have to drive the van back to the deport centre, he couldn’t help but think she was exceedingly cool to be able to drive, and a van at that. He’d long since left the muggle world behind, so for him it was cool and it was interesting. He was just so in awe of all her talents and so pleased that she was able to now work at St. Mungoes with him. Their schedules wouldn’t line up any easier, but at least they would be able to come home to one another, and he knew that would make up all the difference. He followed looked at what she was looking at and then at the room at large. Admittedly he wasn’t sure, it could be either really, ”Maybe the living room, since its closer to the kitchen?” he said, looking at the room and then glancing back at Rhi with a little smile, if they set it up and didn’t like it, it was their home they could always change it. ”If we change our mind we can change stuff around,” Tybalt said as the last of his boxes settled intot he room they were needed in. and then back at her, so the easy part was done.He smiled at her, ”Let’s go then!” he took out his wand and apparated out of their new home to her apartment. He glanced around the place, and then towards Rhi when she arrived too, ”Right, how do you want to get started?”
