For the first time in a long time, Elaine was happy. She and Sola had been spending time, hanging out, though she wasn't sure if they were in a relationship or not. She didn't really mind too much though, as long as she was having a good time, she didn't care. Today Sola and Elaine had decided to go to the gym. Not just any gym though, it was a wizarding gym that contained a dueling chamber. Dueling burned alot of calories, which when she discovered she was happy about. Elaine hated all those muggle ones. Despite being a muggle born. She didn't like how uncomfortable they were. Her mother was the fitness freak and she always wondered how Elaine kept her amazing figure. Elaine would simply smile and say that she had her ways. It was always funny seeing the odd look on her mothers face when she saw her in her gym outfit and then not going to a gym. She never bothered to tell her mother about what she did in her life. She never really saw any need. It was just a part of her life that her mother never understood. Of course she did try to understand, but there were just some things in the world, that Penelope would never understand. She shook her head at the thought, wondering what her mum would say at the sight of her now. She flicked her hair behind her back and pulled her bag over her shoulder. She was going to meet Sola at the Gym. She was really kind of excited about today. She wondered just who out of them would win.

Elaine apparated out of her apartment and into the gym. She nodded at the others in the gym and walked up to the manager of the dueling arena, ensuring that their booking was still in. She smiled and sat on the lounge to wait for Sola to arrive. She was excited, she did really like Sola, and she was sure this would be fun. She placed her bag on the spot next to her and settled back into the seat.Sola would be here soon and then they could have some fun.

Picking up a small backpack, Sola placed it on her shoulder as she locked the door to her apartment. The woman didn't stop to speak to her neighbors, muggles that she barely even passed pleasantries with, let alone carry on a conversation. Walking down several blocks, the woman checked to see if anyone was following her before she ducked into an alleyway and jogged behind a dumpster. When she was sure that no one was there, she apparated to the area where she'd told Elaine she would meet her. A smile crossed her face as she thought about the woman after she'd landed safely. Elaine was tons of fun and that was all Sola could ask for. She wasn't looking for anything serious and hoped that things would continue to remain as fun. The former Slytherin had a hard enough time keeping a job, so she was certain a relationship would be just as much work. She would much rather just not put a label on what they had and just enjoy the time they spent together. Things were less complicated that way.

Stepping through the doors of the gym, Sola was hit with the sounds of people jogging around and the familiar sound of spells hitting their targets. She glanced around and quickly spotted Elaine, sitting and waiting. With a wave, she walked over to her friend, a bit of pep in her step. "You ready to get your arse handed to you, pretty girl?" she said, her British accent apparent as she greeted her current lover.

Oh my gosh! I know I totally suck!

Elaine smiled up at the face of her lover as she stood up and nodded. A smirk crept up onto her face as she thought about all the trouble they could get into behind those doors. She shrugged and shook her head, grinning as she did so. "They day you are able to beat me, Squibs will gain magic." She countered, turning on her heel and pulling the door to the Dueling arena open, allowing first Sola to enter, before letting it swing shut behind her. The entire arena was decked out in everything that could possibly be needed for dueling. Walls, objects to be levitated, things to be exploded and stuff to burn. She smiled excitedly, they were definitely going to have fun with this. Yes indeed. She turned to Sola and tilted her head, something she did when trying to be cute. "Which side you want Hun?" She asked, feigning disinterest. "I'm good with either side really. Though, might I suggest the left? It seems to be more... how you say... open?" She asked, knowing full well that Sola was just as good as she was. This battle would be evenly matched, only the most determined at this point would likely win. She really liked Sola, though she didn't know how long they would last. For now though, they were just enjoying doing things together, experimenting with new things and just generally relaxing with each other.

Even though at this moment all Elaine wanted to do was jump on Sola, she refrained, she needed to do something that wasn't Sola for once and this seemed like the best thing, maybe after the match they could do something alittle more intimate and more to her liking, but for now, this was perfectly fine. "So which is it Beautiful, Left, or Right?" She asked, trying to distract herself from the hunger she already knew was in her eyes.

Sola opened her mouth, a hearty laugh escaping her at Elaine's words. The woman sure had a way with them. As she held the door open for Sola, the curvy woman sauntered through, making sure that her hips swayed provocatively. She knew that distractions could certainly mean the difference between victory and defeat. What she didn't know was whether Elaine was competitive enough to overlook Sola's obvious attempts at getting her attention elsewhere. Sola was a dirty player and would use any tactic necessary to become victorious and she was about to show Elaine that. As she listened to Elaine speak, something that she could easily do all day, Sola handed her bag to a house elf who had followed them in. She surveyed the room, noting the many objects, some of which were haphazardly thrown while others appeared to be strategically perched. The woman's eyes drifted back to her partner's and she began to warm up her wand arm and her legs.

Noticing a slight spark in Elaine's eyes, Sola smiled broadly. A similar spark was in her eye, partly from her interest in just abandoning this form of exercise for something else and partly from the anticipation of a good duel. "Hmm...I'll go left" she said, walking briskly to that part of the room. When she was in place, Sola removed her wand from her pocket and held it up in the first position. "Get ready for some magical Squibs" she sang out. "Whenever you're ready, love" she stated sweetly, blowing a kiss to the woman across the room. All they needed was the countdown and she'd be ready to get down to business.
