Matt Greene simply felt out of place here since he did not know exactly how to be a wizard. Mason, his younger twin, might have helped him out if he were here right now. Matt once more walked around the lawns and then he found a place to sit down on the grass. The grass was somewhat cleaner than what he was used to sitting on. The only things new to him right now where the robes that he had carried on his back since he arrived. The robes were shining brilliant with black and red, the color of Gryffindor, something he was coming to know. He was not entirely sure about the house, but he hoped that Mason would find his way into the same house one day next year when sorting would take place again and they would be reunited. That day just could not come fast enough for the first year Gryffindor.
A gentle breeze rustled some leaves and trees on the lawn, and Matt took his time to look around this place. It was unlike he had ever seen. Everything looked so clean. He did not know how else to describe it. Matt clasped his hands together and he sat in thought, wondering what was a wizard and what made him different. Well, he did have a wand that could send out sparks, but when he told things to move while waving it, it didn't work or the wand just did not like being told what to do. He held up his wand and he looked at it carefully. This might have been the way to tap into the magic. If he did not have a wand, could he go back home and see Mason? Mason would not really like Matt coming back so soon, but boy it was a temptation for him.
