Jaken had a list of letters that he had kept secret from when he was an Auror, in case something were to happen to him. Though when he kissed his wife goodbye after Chavdar planned a dinner with him for old times sake, he put a necklace for Patricia's into the envelope. He was currently at the Styx Manor now, putting the letters in his drawer in his old room, and he got ready for the dinner. He walked down the stairs, bid Nicolette and Kalif bye as well as his siblings, before he walked out the front door and apparated to the restaurant where his stormy eyes smiled at Chavdar. Jaken greeted, "So, hopefully that Ministry is treating you well, huh?" Jaken chuckled as he walked - with his cane in his hand assisting him walk - to the back booth where he took his seat.

Things were looking rather sweet to Jaken. He had Chavdar go get him some tea and get himself something. Jaken opened the Daily Prophet and he started to read. He wondered what would be on the menu and all today. He had never been to this restaurant in New Zealand. After all, he was used to treating himself to something in the muggle world. He set his cane to the side, and he started to have this feeling of someone watching him or someone is after him. He dismissed it, figuring that he was safe with his uncle Chavdar. Jaken glanced up when he saw his tea delivered by Chavdar. Jaken took a sip of his drink and he inquired from Chavdar, "Oh, is Rosaline pregnant yet? I heard that you guys were trying for another."

Chavdar waited for Jaken at the entrance to the restaurant. His blonde hair was tied back and he wore black robes as per usual. He had leaned away from dressing in muggle attire for a while. Chavdar glanced inside the place, and saw that there weren't many people that were inside the restaurant. Chavdar glanced over when he heard someone apparate and it was his nephew. Chavdar held the door open for him and kept his eyes on that cane Jaken was using. Twenty-one years old and using a cane, amazing, thought Chavdar with some amusement. He was wondering how he got around to using that cane and then remembered that whole fight with Jaken and Hades. Though now, those two seem more like brothers than anything. Well, not close brothers but brothers nonetheless.

"They are. Things are well at the Ministry," said Chavdar with a light chuckle. He had not shared his Death Eater status with Jaken and he did not plan to either. Jaken was surrounded by them, on his father's side of the family that is. Chavdar stood up from the booth and got Jaken a tea and got himself some water. Walking back to the table, he handed Jaken the tea and he answered with a soft sigh, "No, not yet. But we plan on not stressing ourselves out over it as well. By the way, when you are ready, we need to go up to the counter and get some food. They don't serve with waiters and stuff here. And I have no idea what you like and don't like." The atmosphere seems lighter and more carefree here. Chavdar took a drink of his water and waited for Jaken's decision.

Onix sat patiently in the corner of the room, at empty table with nothing but a simple cup of unsweetened iced tea sitting in front of him untouched. His eyes were currently locked onto a young man that was a little distance from and also know to him as Hades Lutrov. Back long ago when Alexander Moon was alive and happened to be doing some things for him to keep an eye on his youngest child Nicolette he was murdered by someone. Someone that was apparently close to her. Rumors went around that there might have been more than one involved but in the end only one person was confirmed for sure and that was Hades Lutrov. A built, pale, and dark-hand man was probably going to be seen with or around the Zhefarovich's. Other than that there was no other description so far all this man knew right now...this young man he was staring at right now was none other than Hades. He had been biding his time well for the past couple of months. Everything was put into place but he had to get rid of a little pest first. He wanted to get his revenge on Hades Lutrov for killing his Guinea pig and ruining everything. He wanted to make sure that Hades would be out of his way for good. Before long the elder reached down into his pocket and pulled out a small vial of poison that he had brewed especially for Hades and his planned Death. Although Onix was nowhere near as skilled with Potions as Nicolas or Nicolette may have been he was skilled enough to know how to brew an acceptable poison. All he needed now was the perfect moment to strike.

'Once Hades is done for I'll tell out Nicolette and Nicolas in due time. The little brats had let their existence run thin. I have planned this so carefully and I expect it work.' Onix smirked as she stared into the dark colored vial. The Poison was odorless and probably didn't have a strong taste either so he could possibly get this done with right here and now. Hopefully Hades wasn't too trained in Poison's or he'd realize it very quickly. Chances are that if he had tried to poison one of his children then would seek it out right away. Too bad they thought he was dead and still the good guy. This was going to be an absolute riot. With a half-smirk he locked his dark golden eyes lock onto the young man as he waited.

Jaken nodded and he got his cane once more. The nerves in his thighs were rather aggravating at times. Especially now when the seasons were getting cooler, and it was making the pains a little sharper than before. This was why he could never work at the Ministry again. He was a stay-at-home dad. That was something he enjoyed, his children. Jaken leaned on his cane and he coaxed Chavdar, "I've had plenty of practice with it, so walking up to the counter and back is no big deal." Whoever his attacker or attackers were from the previous year had failed in taking out his spirit. Though if it weren't for Nicolette, Kalif and Hades, he would not be walking as well as he was now. But what he did not know was that if it were not for Hades to begin with and the plot behind the fight, he would not be walking with a cane right now anyway.

Though a chunk of his memories were gone, he did not mind. It did not erase the love he felt for Estrella, though it was still a little of a shock that he was a dad. He seemed natural though now. He loved Lydia and Olivia and the twins that Estrella was giving birth to. At least they were little boys as far as he was concerned. He thought that he would have all daughters for a while. Jaken made his way over to the counter away from his drinks and he glanced at the menu. He ordered a salad, and turned to Chavdar to see what he would get. Both were the same in appetite really. But Chavdar was more lenient in his tastes.

Chavdar wondered if Jaken was all right with walking but when he reassured him, Chavdar let out a sigh of relief. This kid had spirit. He stood up as well, glancing around the restaurant. No one seemed out of the ordinary, except for a select few. Though even he could not predict was what is to come. He had a sudden feeling of worry wash over him, and he dismissed it as nothing. But the fact that he received it was out of the ordinary. He felt the need to shield Jaken from something, and when they walked, he made sure that nothing got in the way of his walk, and almost hounded him like a guard dog. It was rare that someone would attempt to mess with Chavdar, considering his size and bulk. He was seven feet tall with muscles and he could easily look like someone who rip someone's head clean off.

He heard Jaken's order, and he thought for a moment on what he wanted. Chavdar said, "I think I will have grilled chicken strips, no fat remaining on them, and a baked potato on the side, no butter or anything on that. Oh, and on his salad, add chicken to it, because he needs his protein." Chavdar threw Jaken a sly smirk. he knew how to take care of his nephew. All they had to do now was wait for their orders to be fixed, and then they could return to their seats and dig in. They always had a good time out, so he shouldn't let a little bad feeling worry him. Maybe there was a little water in the floor that he had seen and thought Jaken would have a nasty fall.

Onix smirked when he watched the two men get up and leave their drinks unattended, oh how the gods were blessing him today. When they had reached the counter he carefully lifted himself from his chair and walked over to their table. A tan hand flew out with the dark vial in hand before he uncapped it and poured the entire vial liquid into Hades beverage. Once the entire thing was empty he quickly recapped it before he went back to his seat and sat down, acting as if nothing had ever happened.

As the salad with chicken upon it landed in Jaken's hand, he led the way back to the table, where he was completely unaware of the poison inside of his tea. He took a fork and he stabbed it into the chicken and lettuce before he popped it into his mouth and started to chew. He swallowed and he said, "Chav, thanks for taking me out to eat today. This chicken was a nice addition. I need my protein? Maybe you should lay off of yours for a bit." Jaken laughed as he took a drink of his tea. His tastebuds thought that there was something in the tea. Shrugging, he started eating his salad once more. Though by the time he had it half eaten, he had consumed more than half of his drink, before he started feeling a little strange. A half an hour passed of little chatter, and he had drunk his tea and eaten his salad. Jaken was a fast eater, but Chavdar was taking his sweet time.

Then, Jaken definitely knew something wasn't right. His left side started to go numb, and then his right. He could no longer feel anything. His expression froze in horror as he did not know what exactly was going on, but he was paralyzed. Jaken could only gather certain things as he saw his vision blur, and his muscles began to spasm. He fell to the floor, and immediately he felt agonizing pain, his muscles spasming and causing him to jerk. Jaken cried out, but he started to choke on air as well. His lungs refused to work, and it felt like someone was stabbing him over and over in the chest after each intake of air he received. Jaken didn't know what was happening to him, nor did he know why. He had been a good man, always caring and loving. Why did someone want to put him through agony like this? His heart was beating rapidly, and he could feel death coming in slowly. Everything around him was hammered out by his own blood flow and pounding head.

He could not hear anything, and his vision started from blurring to form black spots. With a final thrust, the heart stopped beating, and his agonizing pain, the most he ever felt in his life had ended. His pupils dilated and his head moved to the side, lifeless. His muscles fell lifeless and limp. Jaken Larmyne Styx's life ended, when he was twenty-one years old, with twins on the way, on the twenty-sixth of April.

Chavdar could only laugh while he dug into his chicken and thought it was the most delicious chicken in the world, well, other than Rosaline's. As they had a bit of small talk here and there while they were eating, Chavdar could not help but watch Jaken's facial expressions carefully. By the time he had finished half of his chicken, Jaken had finished his salad, and more than half of his tea. Chavdar joked, "Sure you don't want anymore, Jaken?" Chavdar glanced down at his baked potato before he took a bite out of it with a fork. Though it was strange, he did not hear an answer from his nephew. Chavdar glanced up and saw Jaken's horrified expression. Chavdar repeated, "Jaken? Are you all right?" Chavdar put down his fork and when Jaken fell to the floor, almost like he was having a seizure, a rather painful one, Chavdar called out, "JAKEN!" The scene was horrific. Everything seemed to go by in slow motion as he slid from the booth.

He leaned down, calling out Jaken's name every second, every half a second. But nothing was working. Jaken's cries seemed to last forever. Chavdar never felt so helpless in his life. He took the jerking body of Jaken into his arms, and he continued to scream out his name, trying to get him to hear him, to see him. People nearby were watching the scene in shock and horror. What happened to this young man? Chavdar thought that Jaken was coming around, maybe, as his screams of pain were ending. Chavdar started a different approach, "Jaken, don't you quit on me now, buddy. Come on, breathe damn it!" Jaken's body jerked one last time, and his muscles felt limp in Chavdar's arms. His eyes frozen open, and his breathing could no longer be felt. Chavdar called out, "Jaken! DAMN IT, DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!" Chavdar was frantic, but it seemed that Jaken's life had ended, and Chavdar just would not accept it.

Jaken's cane fell from the booth that it was leaning against, and fell to the ground with a clatter, as lifeless as its master. Chavdar shook Jaken's body a little, but there was no life from it. No heartbeat; not breath; no laughter. Chavdar felt moisture gather in his eyes as he realized that Jaken was truly dead. Chavdar held Jaken close to him, hugging him for the last time. Chavdar closed his eyes, and for the first time, he cried like never before. It could be mistaken that Chavdar was Jaken's father, but hell, Chavdar loved him like a son, and he would do anything for him. The one that gave them their food came over but Chavdar shouted, "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM US!" Chavdar slowly stood up, and he gazed around the area, looking for something, someone to blame. He carried Jaken's limp body into his hands, and he apparated off to go find a reason behind this unfortunate event.</COLOR>

Chavdar stood by the bed in the morgue next to the body of his once lively nephew now dead and would never speak again in Saint Mungo's. They had asked him to bring his food and drink that he had eaten and consumed at the restaurant, and Chavdar had done just that. They had tested the drink, and apparently, someone had poisoned it while they were getting their food. Chavdar sat down in a chair that was offered to him, and he buried his face into his hands. He could not figure out why someone wanted Jaken dead. He tried to go over everyone that was in the restaurant, and no one seemed familiar. No one really seemed the type to want to hurt Jaken.

A healer came by and asked, <COLOR color="red">"Are you his father?" Chavdar shook his head and he muttered, "Close uncle." The healer nodded and she continued to ask questions, and every one of them, Chavdar did not know. He would have to take the body to the Zhefarovich Manor for a private funeral tomorrow, to make sure that nothing else had caused this death, but it was apparent that the poison had done its job. Chavdar stood up and he had to bring the news to Estrella and Kalif. Well, if he died, he would want his wife to know first, so he wiped the tears from his eyes and he apparated off to go search for Estrella.

Watching the scene before him with a smirk and began to praise himself for his skills and being able to pull of murdering Hades without so much as a struggle. But it wasn't until the other man began to panic and tend to the boy that things got a little odd, this boy didn't seem to look like a killer to begin with but the man that had been with the entire time was was sent into utter panic. When Onix heard the name Jaken mentioned various times was when Onix froze and allowed his eyes to left a little to the side in nervousness. How could have poisoned the wrong person? He was sure that the description had fit the young man perfectly before he poured the poison into his drink. For a split second the man almost felt bad until he remembered that he had once murdered nearly his entire family. His wife and two of his daughters included not to mentioned his aunts, uncle's, cousins, all of those with the Hensel blood were ordered to be killed except a select few that in the end were supposed to take the blame. He hated his family and wanted to suffer but his plan on blaming them failed when Alexander screwed up and fell for his daughter, he wanted to know the real reason of his guinea pigs death but figured it was too late now. Casually as if he didn't want to view the scene any longer he stood his body up and walked away from the scene and never bothered to look back. One innocent life was taken today and in the future he expected more to follow it...starting with his children and that blasted Hades who still seemed to be out there somewhere.
