With a basketball in hand and no homework on his agenda for the day, Victor headed for the court yard where a hop was installed for the moment at least till school over. He didn't get his full request, but it was something. And before winter came, he took this opportunity to shoot a few hoops. While he made his way several flights of steps, he got a few questionable stares at the muggel object he had underneath his right arm. He choose to educate a few before he headed towards the courtyard. "Its a basketball guys, ever seen one before?" he dribble the fall around his fingers, than let them confused tired of always explaining what muggels sports is all about.

He ended up in the courtyard, no later than ten minutes later. He was wearing comfortable clothes and a sweat shirt just because of the autumn weather. Dribbling the orange grided ball around, he made a few aims at the hoop. A few went inside the hoop the rest glaze the net missing more than just a few. By the time he got to ten in, he restarted and did twenty inside instead of ten. He pushed himself to shoot more hops, extending his arm to shoot a three pointer. Victor kept going, unaware that anyone was watching him. Victor drifting into his own little world for the time being.

With a determined heart, Elijah Tine ventured outside his dorm room again. Still without his guitar. Having made his blisters worse, by playing it a little the night before. Eli wondered around school again. His thoughts less central. More just widely grabbing at anything that really came to mind. Next Year, the subjects he would pick. How it would be super cool, to no longer be the younger ones, but be nearing the stage of being a senior. Although it was quite a time away, Eli knew it would come quicker, than he would really imagine. But to think so far ahead into his future was daunting. A sigh escaped Elijah's lips as he once again found his self in the courtyard. He took a seat at the steps and just stared into thin air. In his mind he playing a song, and imagining people dancing along. A ball, with dresses swishing, and men leading. It was an odd thing to imagine. But Hogwarts castle hadn't always been a wizarding school. At one point it would've been a great and Grand castle. One that housed banquets, and balls. Where men fought to impress women. Elijah knew it wasn't typical of New Zealand to have castles. It was atypical. Castle were found in places like Europe. Where history could be traced back hundreds of year, because of what people had left behind. Eli didn't claim to know much about castles or New Zealand, but being the youngest country in the world, he believed that gave some indication to how it was. Elijah noticed that someone was playing with an orange basketball. Eli was in no way sporty, but he could tell that the boy was good. Very good even. Elijah noted that he seemed about as passionate about getting a ball into a hoop as he did about playing the guitar. It was good to see something of the sort. The world would be lost without sports players and musicians, Elijah thought. He was biased, he played the guitar so he would believe himself more when he said.

Elijah watched the boy, feeling himself smile as the boy scored again and again. He didn't want to miss, in fact, Eli wanted him to do better. To keep going and show that it was possible to be the best at something. And that though this was a magical school the arts would not be lost. Elijah looked down at his lap, and felt completely lost, he didn't have his guitar. And he would've given anything to have it in that moment, to show the boy he too had some talent. But all Elijah could do was strum air. And air didn't produce a sound. Elijah continued to watch. Not moving his eyes from the boy, and wondering when he would ever stop or that if he would ever be noticed by him. To both Eli didn't care. He was content, just watching and remembering that people were just absolutely and undoubtedly Awesome. No matter who they were or what they did.

At every shot he aim for the hoop the more he was pleased for himself to at least get it in. In a way he compared basketball like magic. You may not get it in all the time, but the more you try the more its possible of getting more inside the hoops. The more he thought about in that perspective, it seem easy. He imagine it to be that way, but magic took time. It took a lot strength and natural abilities to attempt any sort of magic. Trust that he knew this all to well. If it were so easy than it wouldn't be no point in using magic if it didn't have it owns level difficulties. Victor dribble the orange ball more, this was suppose to be his free time. His time to relax but the more he kept thinking about magic, he felt himself lose focus. He swayed his arms one side with the movement of his feet towards the next side, he slid the ball between his legs. In his attempt to shoot another three pointer from the left side of the hoops, the ball went up, his legs pushed up. Than it hit the brim of the hoop, he saw the ball glazed the rim for a few seconds. Till the ball lost focus, bouncing off the brim, hitting the concrete floor. He lost focus, because of magic. He lost his attention, again he told himself to relax. Tis nothing to worried about. When he went to claim his ball, he realize a boy a lot younger than the third years he passed earlier, had been watching him all along.
Victor felt either awkward or comfortable that the boy had been sitting there without saying one word to him while he shoot a few hoops. Often someone would either asked to join or greet him, and than watch him play a little one on one with someone else. His main partner in crime, JR, would've been the one playing with Victor mostly since half the students here didn't know the difference between a three pointer and free throw to save their lives. But since JR left, and the muggel sports club failed, he lack the yarning of being active. Everyone seems to be growing apart, to busy in their own lives to notice anyone else. He wonder if he plainly better off at a muggel's school. It crossed his mind more than once, he wonder though he saved those thoughts for later. "Hey kid, " Victor extended his hands, he clap once than gesture towards the ball besides him. "Mind passing me that ball?"
