Valentines Day wasn't anything special to Daisy, but the thing that made it special at Hogwarts was the rose deliveries. She tried to sign up to delivery every year; she got to meet new people, and give them a bit of happiness.
It was only her third delivery, but Daisy was exhausted. This time, she knew exactly who the person was that she was delivering to; only they'd never even spoken and Daisy had no idea where the Ravenclaw girl would be. So she started on the ground floor and worked her way up, searching each corridor and using her trusty voice finder. By the time she reached the Seventh Floor Corridor, Daisy wondered if she should have instead done Elysia last, as she'd have to walk all the way back down to find her other delivery-peoples. Sighing, Daisy rubbed her bare feet as she leaned against the wall, before spotting the familiar face of Elysia Styx. "Elysia! Oh Merlin, I've never been more glad to see you in my life!"

Elysia was on her way up to the towers, after watching Zared lose in his duel. It was disappointing but at least he didn't get hurt. She had her head bowed down slightly, staring at the floor. However, she heard a voice and she knew that one. Sighing, the Ravenclaw looked up. She frowned slightly. "What do you want, Parker." Elysia was already in a bad mood. Seeing Daisy and her emotional expressions just irritated her more.

Daisy grinned at Elysia's reply. "Cheer up Styxie, life ain't all lemons and gargoyles! Besides, I have a present for you!" She exclaimed, holding the pink rose out in front of Elysia's face. A tiny note was attached, but Daisy hadn't read the notes. She would never betray someone's privacy like that. But she was still desperate to know who it was from.

Thanks

Elysia narrowed her silvery green eyes as Parker said that comment. However, the Ravenclaw was momentarily silent as she was handed a pink rose with a note with a single word. Thanks. This had to be from Zared. She could think of no other that would do such a thing. Pink meant crush too, or something. Elysia wanted to send a rose to him, but couldn't decide on the color. Plus, divulging something like that to another was too revealing. Holding the rose and the card at her side, she turned to the Gryffindor and spoke coldly, "Say something that ridiculous again and I'll curse you into next week." Elysia turned and started to walk toward the dungeons on a new mission now.

Daisy rolled her eyes as Elysia walked away. Some people just needed to lighten up! "You're welcome!" Daisy called after the girl's retreating back. After all her hard work to find her! Daisy wondered if the girl even deserved the rose, but she corrected herself quickly. Who was she to judge? Perhaps it was someone just as bitter and evil as her. Taking a couple of deep breaths, Daisy then physically shook off the bad feelings that the girl had given her, before looking for her next person. She was sure they would be better.
