Dove had been greatly disappointed when her dear sister had decided that hogwarts might be the school for her and had actually gone to attend it, the fifth year had been pitch beauxbatons hard to her, but it seemed it was for nothing, not that Dove would ever hold it against her, but the teen had to admit that it would've definitely been nice had her sister come to Beauxbatons with her. The english girl ran a hand through the dyed hair as she looked to the person speaking at the front, they were just finishing up and not a moment too soon, this girl who was speaking while lovely and a great asset to the school had so little charisma and it just showed. Dove was stifling the urge to yawn, knowing how rude it would be if she did such a thing, and even if this girl was the most boring person in the world, which it did seem like she was, Dove could never forget her manners. Thankfully however the girl finished and everyone began to clear out of the room, and Dove had to let out a long breath, resisting the urge to slouch down in her seat and just let herself relax.

Goodness, she loved being part of this all-girls club, it provided a good outlet and like minded people, which of course in a school like Beauxbatons was not difficult to find, but it was nice to have an area away from the boys and the stresses of the school. Dove took out a little pocket mirror and inspected her make up, she had spent hours getting herself ready for the day and she felt so pleased to have managed her look for the day, not a strand of hair sat out of place, and he looked up at her and noticed there was a girl sitting in the room also, which she recognised as a girl in the year below her, "Gracelynn," she said out loud sure that that was the girl's name, but wanting confirmation and then flashed her a friendly smile, "What did you think of our dear leader?" Dove asked in the usual french, wondering what she'd thought of the speaker and not just out right insulting her, after all that would get her no where, and there was the risk that this girl, Gracelynn might have been the leader's friend and she hardly wanted to insult either parties because she didn't watch her mouth.

OOCOut of Character:
Sorry about the delay. We had some girls quit where I work so I took on a lot of extra hours, which wound up giving me absolutely no free time.

Although Gracelynn was doing her best to pay attention to the girl giving a speech at the front of the room, she found herself drifting off into thought every minute or so. Lately her family had been occupying every free thought she had. Tanner and Rosalina were having a hard time adjusting to the move and divorce. Tanner especially as it seemed that their father had taken it upon himself to express every bit of anger he had to Tanner. Gracelynn wanted to shield both her brother and sister from all of the chaos around them, but they were like sponges. They soaked up whatever emotion they had around them, which lately had been nothing more than fear and anger. Turning her attention back to the front, she had to fight back the urge roll her eyes a time or two. Although she fully believed in supporting other women in their endeavors, there were times when they made it hard for Gracelynn to do so. These days, girls seemed more worried about boys then about their own future.

Gracelynn turned her attention to a familiar face when her name was spoken. Thankfully she knew some French thanks to her mother, but she often grew nervous trying to speak it. Foreign languages were very easy to butcher. "Hello Dove." Gracelynn greeted politely. When Dove asked what Gracelynn thought of their leader, Gracelynn turned to look at the girl in question. The speech she had just given wasn't very good, Gracelynn hardly knew her otherwise. It was hard to say what she thought. "Well she's not the best speech giver." Gracelynn stated honestly. Not that she could do any better. Gracelynn was never very good at public speaking, and neither was their leader apparently. Perhaps Dove thought the same thing and merely wanted to see if anyone else agreed with her.

Dove had for a moment thought that perhaps Gracelynn wouldn't answer, that she might be in her own little world, not listening to what slight chatter that Dove was interested in making, however when the girl created her back, all stress just slipped away and Dove was able to smile in her usual polite manner, she didn't know the girl that well, through this that and the other thing, but they had never really held a conversation, Dove had her friends, ones she worked hard on keeping, uninterested really in spreading too far out, but it didn't stop her from being friendly to the people around her, and should friendliness become friendship she wouldn't exactly stop it from happening. The teen shifted herself slightly on the chair, ironing down her skirt with her hands, trying to get rid of the imperfections of the skirt, which did not in fact exist, listening as Gracelynn agreed with her, this girl who'd been speaking just wasn't good at it, probably a good member of the club, but unlikely to be a good leader. Of course this was just a school club and it was not required that they be good leaders, it was not as if, this girl was to lead them into some fight.

"Definitely not," she agreed with a small nod, she gave a little sigh and pulled out a mirror from within her bag, given how boring it had been Dove was a little concerned that perhaps her make up had run off a little, or become smudged as in her tiredness, she might've rubbed her eyes, or yawned to the point of slight tears. She very delicately, began checking her features and fixing what she needed to, "I wouldn't have done much better," she admitted with a small shrug, Dove was a good many things, but she was not a public speaker, she had to look perfect for that, and rarely did Dove achieve the perfection she wanted, "but still, it would've been nice to not be bored in meetings, you know?" she looked up at the other girl, meeting her gaze for a brief second and returning to what she was doing. Dove had no intention of being a "school leader" at any point, but it didn't mean she couldn't comment on those that were.
