Professor Haden leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He tells the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

With two victories under her belt, Dina was feeling pretty confident in her abilities. She sized up Alana for a moment before tilting her head slightly. She knew that this girl was engaged to Chaos, some weird arrangement thing that she'd never understand. "Good luck." She called to her before bowing and getting into position. "Expelliarmus!"

Alana was surprised to hear the wish of good luck coming from the girl. Her eyes widened and she gave Dina a small smile as she bowed back. “You too” she replied. As the duel began, Alana only just got a shield charm up to prevent her wand from flying out of her hand. Quickly, she responded with a Jelly Fingers curse, hoping to make holding a wand difficult for the Gryffindor girl.

Dina had never really had a problem with Alana, but she's never really gotten to know her and everything she knew currently came from other people, plus that rag RHI. Dina was ready for the counter when it came and threw up a shield of her own. "Protego, expelliarmus." It was Dina's default spell, get the opponent before they get you.

"Protego" Alana yelled, just managing another successful shield charm. She couldn't believe she'd manned two decent ones. Without hesitation, she sent a trip jinx in Dina's direction.

Dina tried to deflect Alana's spell, but was too slow and instead was hit by it causing her to fall flat on her ass. She looked up at Alana, rather impressed and laughed slightly. She stood up carefully rubbing her backside as she limped slightly back into position. She'd taken that fall harder than she'd thought. "Locomotor Mortis!"

Alana's laugh could be heard throughout the chamber. She was clearly enjoying her success, so much so that she didn't have enough time to stop the charm cast at her. Alana's legs slammed together before she went down herself. Struggling to her feet, Alana tried and failed to end the charm. "Oh damn" she grumbled as she rushed to try again.

Dina's cheer made her sound like an evil witch from a kids movie before she threw her hand over her mouth to stop the cackling. She'd never cackled in her life and was not about to start now. She blamed Alana. "A) I did not mean to cackle or whatever the hell that was just then and b)" Dina sent the jelly fingers jinx at the Slytherin now, she hoped to get the girl whilst she was down.

Alana wasn't even listening to Dina as she struggled to end the charm on her legs. She finally succeeded. Pressing her hand on the ground to push herself off the ground, she was hit with another spell. Her fingers wiggled oddly and she fell back on her behind, her wand slipping out of her other hand and rolling away from her. "Shi---" she let out.

Dina looked at Alana as she dropped her wand and smiled. "Alright Alana, you're going down." But instead of aiming at her, she aimed at the blonde's wand instead. "Wingardium Leviosa!" If she could get Alana's wand away from her completely, game over.

Alana finally managed to get herself standing, but by the time she did, her wand was floating well above her. She was short and even jumping she couldn't reach the floating wand. She tried. Even if she did, there was still the matter of her jelly fingers. Alana looked to the Gryffindor girl. "You win" she shrugged, embarrassment filling her at how poorly she'd done this round. At least she hadn't bled this round.

After an intense exchange between the two fourth year students, Alana's wand was left floating above her. Misha stepped forward, "Dina Stanley wins the duel," he declared in a content tone before he walked over to the losing party of the duel to help reverse the spells.
