Dueling Match Number 17

[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.

Isaiah's last duel had ended when he'd been punched in the face and thus had promptly ended. His face today was a little tender, but he was ready for this, and was very eager to fight Kylie. He liked her, she was fun to be around, the yuleball had been a great time for him. He smiled at her as he bowed at her before getting into position, he didn't however waste time, and just began, "Densaugeo"

While some might think that a person like Kylie would have mixed feelings over duelling with a friend. She, however, did not. The girl was competitive and ready to win. She just had to beat the Ravenclaw prefect first. There was never a more perfect time to push away and strange feelings she'd gotten from the ball too. They bowed, and she smirked ready to begin. Her mouth opened and she shot out, "Incendio!" She was not aiming for Isaiah's body. No that would be horrible. Instead she aimed to light his clothes on fire, to cause panic and distraction enough for her to continue just as harshly as she would've liked. Directly after the spell had left her mouth, she was hit and her teeth started to grow rapidly. The girl was not exactly herself when she duelled. While it might have horrified her to have her teeth disfigure her like this normally when she duelled she really couldn't care less. If it wasn't for the fact that it would begin to affect her she would've just continued on. Instead she pointed her wand at herself and said, "Finite."

It seemed that at the exact moment he'd shot his spell a spell was shot at him because he had barely enough time to stop the fire spell from ruining his robes, but it appeared as though his spell had hit her and he couldn't help but watch in mild amusement as her teeth grew, "Reducto," he pointed the spell at her, and hoped that in her distraction she wouldn't notice it. he knew he was out-matched in this, his speciality was quidditch but he didn't want to go down slowly.
