Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

Charlotte did not know how she managed to win the first round but she was on to her second round now and she was even more eager than last time to win it. As soon as Styx ordered the duel to start, Charlotte quickly fired a spell at her opponent's way. "Stupefy!" she said, keeping alert in case her opponent would quickly cast another spell.

Tholomyes had not imagined he would get to the second round and yet here the boy found himself, the wand tightly gripped in his hand a vague sense of impending doom from the slytherin girl he was facing. He didn't even bother really giving her a glance and instead just focus on the duel's formalities and blocking her spell. Theo took a moment to decide what he wanted to cast before casting it, "Densaugeo," he sent.

Charlotte watched as the boy blocked her spell and was more than ready when he cast another one her way. "Protego." she said, flicking her wand easily to block it. She didn't hesitate to then quickly cast another in hopes that it would hit him. "Expelliarmus."

Tholomyes couldn't help but be downhearted when his spell was so easily blocked, he didn't even really want to take part but he was now, and he'd gotten to this round. Theo blocked her spell, with a little sigh coming from his lips, and just fired back with a spell he had been reading about lately, and used on his art work when he felt particularly frustrated, "Diffindo,"

Charlotte watched as the boy blocked her spell. He was looking pretty upset with himself and so it was rubbing off on Charlotte too. Why was he upset? Was it something she did? Charlotte blocked his spell again before casting another. "Tarantellegra." she said with a wave of her wand.

Tholomyes thought it was hopeless for him to even try, he just wanted to throw his wand on the ground, to give up entirely on this. But rather he cast the spell, sighing heavily as he blocked the spell from hitting him, but just barely in time. The teen sighed and shoot back a spell with a lazy flick of his wand, "Confundo,"

The boy was obviously beginning to get upset with how easily Charlotte was blocking his spells, but Charlotte tried her best not to care as she blocked another one. She was only trying to play a game and she didn't understand why it was affecting the boy so much. Nonetheless, Charlotte sent another spell his way. "Reducto."

Theo's annoyance at this was amplified when he barely noticed her cast a spell until he was only just able to dodge out of the way. He groaned to himself, wondering why he was just so bad at this. Tholomyes got himself into a better position and cast a spell back at her, "Stupefy,"

Charlotte's opponent had been seeming to do a good job so far with the duel, despite the fact he had to dodge her last spell. The Slytherin was determined not to go down without a fight. With a simple wave of her wand she successfully managed to block the boy's spell again before casting her own. "Rictusempra." she said, hoping it would hit the boy and cheer him up a bit more.

Tholomyes aside from his time with quidditch was not too active sports wise, he hadn't been since getting to the school. He let his attention wander for the briefest of moments and was hit by the girl's spell, which caused him to erupt into laughter that would not usually be something Theo did. The laughter took over so much of him he could barely hold on to his wand, but he struggled and while laughing cast finite. It had been exhausting and he was taking a few deep breaths to settle himself. before he shot back, "Diffindo,"

Charlotte smirked when her spell had hit the boy and she watched delightfully as he began to laugh uncontrollably. His mood had changed all of a sudden and Charlotte couldn't help but smile at it, hoping he was feeling better now. "Are you okay now?" she asked to make sure as he ended the spell. The boy began to send another spell and Charlotte recognised the incantation and the light coming from the tip of the boy's wand all too well, and she froze. Before she was even able to comprehend what was happening the sharp familiar pain was now felt in her left hip and Charlotte quickly put her hand over the bleeding as she used her other to cast the jelly-fingers curse his way.

Tholomyes pleasure at the spell hitting was pretty great, he couldn't help but that spell more than anything, it was destructive in a way that Theo liked. He even just liked the spell more than the fact that he'd managed to at long last hit the girl. But there was no rest, and Theo could feel his concentration lowering as he blocked the spell, taking deep breaths and for once not firing back.

Charlotte watched as her opponent blocked her spell and waited patiently for him to cast another, but he didn't seem to want to. Charlotte wondered if he was lost in a trance or simply just tired, but Charlotte quickly took over. "Stupefy!" she said with a wave of her wand.

The sharp pain in her side did not stop Charlotte from wanting to beat her opponent. She easily blocked his spell and almost instantly sent one right back at him. "Pertificus Totalus!" she exclaimed, pointing her wand in his direction.
