Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
Oh, and the duel begins now. Also, if someone doesn't post after 12 hours, then they are disqualified.

Vladimir looked to his opponent, as he went to the stage, and saw that it was none other than Belladonna. He took out his wand and he held it for a moment, before taking his stance. Rather than say anything, Vladimir went straight in for the duel. "Stupefy!" intoned Vladimir as he shot the spell toward Belladonna.

<COLOR color="firebrick">"You have got to be kidding me!" Belladonna whined when she saw who she was partnered up against for a duel. Of course it was him, it was always him! Seeing the look that Styx shot her, Belladonna instantly ceased with the whining. "Sorry." Belladonna grabbed her wand and prepared herself to duel. Sadly, Vladimir was nearly quick as lightening and before she could even move an inch, a spell was flying at her. Screaming in horror, Belladonna ducked out of the way just in time for it to miss her. "Are you insane!?"

Belladonna screamed as his spell barely missed her since she dodged it. Vladimir heard her ask if he was insane, but instead of answering, Vladimir cast another spell, no emotion on his face as he continued the duel with intensity, "Petrificus Totalus."

This time, Belladonna was ready and fully prepared to block whatever Vladimir decided to throw her way. <COLOR color="firebrick">"Protego!" Belladonna quickly used a defensive spell to protect herself and then attempted to throw a spell his way. "Expelliarmus!" The blonde threw the spell with as much power as she could muster.

Vladimir was a little surprised when the girl threw up a shield and fired a spell. He moved to the side, dodging it. He smirked slightly as he intoned, "Incendio." He fully intended on setting her on fire.

Her spell didn't even hit him! Sighing under her breath, Belladonna was able to use a defensive spell to protect herself once more, but the spell was still powerful enough to knock her back. Hell, she could even feel some of the heat linger even after the spell had ceased. Belladonna was still in shock over the power of the spell Vladimir had shot so she was unable to shoot an offensive spell of her own.

Vladimir noticed that Belladonna was starting to stumble back, and that was just by Incendio. He had another spell that was more powerful than that. It was bound to knock her out of the match completely, "Reducto!" Vladimr waved his wand and send the spell right at Belladonna.

<COLOR color="firebrick">"He's trying to kill me!" Belladonna concurred to herself. Why else would there be so much force behind his attacks. Maybe she needed to get angry and started using more force of her own. Noticing another spell shot her way, Belladonna screamed and ducked. This was getting ridiculous.

Belladonna was making a fool of herself by this point. It made him smirk even more as he was enjoying it. He shot the same spell with as much force as last time, intending on knocking her out immediately.

The way Vladimir was smirking just now, really dug something deep inside Belladonna. That arrogant bastard thought he was better than she was! <COLOR color="firebrick">"Wipe that smirk off your damn face, Vladimir!" He shot a fairly powerful spell at her, but Belladonna was angry now and although she might not be as strong as he was, she was definitely stronger when she was pissed off. "Protego!" She defended herself once more. "Is that the best you've got? Reducto!" A powerful blast shot from her wand. Belladonna was pretty much using the best she had and she knew she couldn't last long, but she wanted to prove to him that she wasn't as weak as he thought.

Vladimir was a little surprised when she continued talking, and shot a spell at him. She defended herself before she used the same he used the last two times. He waved his wand and verbally used protego to protect himself. The force of the spell barely drove him back, but he sure felt it. He narrowed his eyes before he sent out the Jelly Fingers curse toward her.

Belladonna noticed he shot another spell her way, and she dodged it, however she failed to notice that she was standing close to the edge of the dueling platform, and nearly fell over just attempting to dodge. Luckily she gained her balance at the last moment and managed to get back into a dueling stance once more.

Belladonna looked like she was getting closer to being one of those that would be out pretty soon. She almost fell off the stage by dodging. With a wave of his wand, he sent a powerful Reducto her way once more. That was quickly becoming his favorite spell.

Belladonna cursed and stumbled around to catch her balance because she was still a little too close to the edge to do anything fantastic. Eventually she did catch her balance, but that wasn't going to be enough to help her in the duel. Before Belladonna could even gain her bearings fully, Vladimir's powerful reducto made impact with her body, tossing her back and off the dueling platform quite a distance from Vladimir. Belladonna could have sworn that she heard c something crack as she fell to the floor. But one thing was for sure, this duel was over and she had lost.

Professor Styx had to turn his head to see where the Gryffindor girl went. At least he knew that the family did a real number on training with Vladimir. "I see no reason to announce who won here." He walked over to Belladonna, assisted her on her feet to send her to the hospital wing. She needed it.
